-- To add to the Rey Misterio update on the main page yesterday, his suspension goes into effect Wednesday, so of course that means he's working the Tuesday night TV tapings and likely dropping the title, perhaps to Dolph Ziggler or perhaps to someone who will be facing number one contender Ziggler at the Breaking Point PPV. In a funny note, Shane Brown emailed us to point out that WWE put up a preview for Rey vs. Dolph on WWE.com today, the day AFTER they announced that he was suspended effective Wednesday. -- TNA had 38:44 of wrestling last night, which is actually tremendous for that show.

-- Dragon Gate USA has an article on Brian Kendrick and his upcoming debut here. Regarding his WWE stint he said: "I had some fun in WWE. I learned a lot, made some friends. It's a corporation, I am a human. This human didn't fit into the corporation's plans, and that corporation didn't fit with my human side. I had some laughs, but I am awfully happy the ride is over, and I don't want back on."

I remember it clearly, because Kurt Angle was standing there with his mouth open that Steiner was saying all of these things that were true, but should not be said on air. This was during Steiner's run of epic promo's that were all terrible and funny. I think he also referred to Joe as a fat Samoan in this promo.

Locally, it has been replaced with the Retro Network which shows nothing but reruns of TV shows from the 70s and 80s. At least I have somewhere to get my Rockford Files fix. We were given no advance notice. When my DVR didn't pickup Smackdown last Friday I just figured I screwed something up. Instead I'm the one getting screwed. Don't know how big Cox is nationally, but in the four-state area here of Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri it is one of the main providers.
