--The dropping of the John Morrison vs. Dolph Ziggler match from Sunday's Breaking Point PPV seems to be due to a timing issue with the show.
--The Dragon Gate PPV (and if you didn't see it, if you want to see some great matches, go out of your way to see it because it's two hours of great matches) has its final prime time showing on inDemand (if you've got cable) at 7 PM. tonight. It's also available all day on Dish's All Day Ticket for he final day.
--Not much more regarding the Hulk Hogan Australia tour. No names were announced except Hogan as appearing. Hogan has never been to Australia so that does work in its favor. I can't see such a thing working in the U.S. The 2002 show in Melbourne that drew 56,000 that Hogan pulled out of two weeks before, at that time, and it was seven years ago, there was more interest in Hogan than any of the WWE wrestlers including Rock at that time.
--ECW on Tuesday did a 1.0 rating.
--In last week's cable ratings, ESPN had a big win with football at 2.8, followed by USA falling to 2.2 and Fox News at 1.6. Syfy was No. 11 at 0.9 and Spike was No. 23 at 0.8. Raw was No. 3 and No. 4 behind the Vikings vs. Texans preseason game at 6.1 and NASCAR's Sprint Cup at 4.1. However, in 18-34, neither hour made the top ten due to College Football and three episodes of Family guy. It was No. 4 and No. 5 in 18-49, showing strength among viewers over 35.
--Wrestlers Rescue is doing a cruise next summer from July 26-July 30, 2010. It will be a fund raiser and will have Scott Hall, Mick Foley, Rikishi, DDP, Balls Mahoney, X-Pac, Dawn Marie, Nidia, Traci Brooks, Lacey Von Erich and Tammy Sytch. --Cris Cyborg (over 132 womens division) and Urijah Faber (145 pounds) have been added to the Abu Dhabi world submission championships on 9/26 and 9/27 in Barcelona.
--Chris Jericho will be a regular taking head on MTV's "That Metal Show," a weekly series that airs Saturday nights at 11 p.m. discussing the world of heavy metal (the music, not Negro Casas' brother, which would probably be a more interesting show). The show debuts on 10/3.
