We start off this week with the ROH commentators Mike Hogewood and Dave Prazak annoucing the signing of The American Dragon Bryan Danielson by the WWE.Hopefully this turns out to be a good decision for Danielson and he can mimic the success that Cm Punk has attained and not just become another wrestler lost in the shuffle and never pushed.He certainly is more then talented enough.Now its time to get to our first match of the night.

 

Tag Team Match:
   Dark City Fight Club vs The Young Bucks
For those who are unaware Dark City Fight Club is Kory Chavis and Jon Davis and the Young Bucks are Nick and Matt Jackson.Very Fast start with plenty of tags with the Young Bucks controlling and hitting a moonsault on Chavis's arm followed by a double stomp off the top rope onto the arm.Two nice spots right there.Chavis finally gains control by hitting a double clothesline.Nice leapfrog legdrop pulled off by Dark City.Nice backflip bulldog and Matt makes the hot tag.He cleans house and the Young Bucks hit some sweet double team moves and go for the pin but it's broken up by Dark City.Dark City's turn now with the double team moves but pin is broken up.Jon Davis knocked to the outside and Nick comes off the top rope with a sunset flip for the pin.Pretty good opening match.
Winners:The Young Bucks

 

Briscoe Brothers promo where they talk about there rivalry with Kevin Steen and El Generico which happens to be our main event for tonight.

We now cut back to the ring where Prince Nana introduces us to Bison Smith who is making his HDnet tv debut.

 

Bison Smith vs Sal Rinauro
  Poor Sal.He starts off with a slap to the face of Bison but then gets powerbombed into the turnbuckles for it.Chokeslam into a pin but Bison lifts his head up at two.Press slam into the turnbuckles and Sal is now on the outside.Bison whips him into the guardrail.Sal into the crowd now and Bison with a nice shoulderblock over the guardrail taking Sal out along with a bunch of chairs.Once again i reiterate poor Sal.Press slam now back into the ring and Bison pins him with one foot.
Winner:Bison Smith

 

Nana then puts over the beating Bison Smith just delivered and brings out his hired gun Joey Ryan.Nana then issues a challenge for anyone in the back to take on Ryan and who answers the call?None other then Colt Cabana.

 

Joey Ryan vs Colt Cobana
 Cabana starts out by throwing Ryan to the outside not once but twice.Crowd chanting for Cabana.Cabana's style of wrestling is pretty funny as he totally humiliates his opponent with his moves.Nana trips up Cabana and Ryan gets his first offensive move in with a standing dropkick.He then follows up by working the left shoulder of Cabana.Cabana with a reversal and hits a moonsault off the middle rope for a nearfall.Ryan again continuing to work over the left shoulder.Cabana takes control with punches leading to the windup punch.He whips him into the corner for a spalsh but Ryan comes back with a superkick for a nearfall.Ryan misses a swinging bulldog off the top rope and then gets put in the billygoats curse and submits.
Winner:Colt Cabana

 

Kevin Steen and El Generico promo about the Briscoe Bros and how well they all know each other.Highlights of last week showing Tyler Black about to beat Jerry Lynn when Nigel comes out and puts his foot on the rope allowing for Lynn to come back and roll Black up for the pin.They annouce a special interview with Tyler Black next week.
Prince Nana promo now as he talks about Cabana messin up the Embassy's special night and if anyone sides with Cabana they will have the Embassy to answer to.They then annouce Necro Butcher vs Jimmy Rave for next week.
They cut to Nigel Mcguinness who is in the crowd and he cuts a promo degrading the fans and he doesnt understand why all the wrestlers entertain these people.He calls all the fans wankers and sinners.He promises to destroy whoever his next opponent is.
They annouce for next week that Austin Aries will put every wrestlers name in a hat and whosever name he draws will get a title shot.Aries then cuts a promo saying how many fans have written him and told him how much they love his idea.
Also annouced for next week is a six man tag between Danielson Kenta and Roderick Strong vs Davey Richards Eddie Edwards and Chris Hero.
Its now time for the main event of the evening.

 

Main Event:
     Kevin Steen and El Generico vs The Briscoe Bros

Want to also mention that this is for number one contendership for the tag titles.Steen and Mark to start out.Steen with a shoulderblock and Mark follows with a flying legkick.Generico tagged in now and throws some arm drags which leads to the tag in of Jay.Steen tagged in.They both slap each other in the face and then follow with snot rockets from both.They trade elbows and chops.Mark tags in and gets vertical suplexed.Generico back in and he gets double shoulderblocked.Snap suplex on Generico for a two count.Steen back in and hits a ddt for a nearfall and another snot rocket.Frontflip legdrop for a two count by Steen.Both Generico and Mark hit planchas onto the outside.That was sweet.Mark hits the superkick and they both make the hot tag.Jay and Steen trade a flurry of punches and all hell has broken loose.Generico with a boot to the face and Steen with a powerbomb and all four men are down.Steen with a swanton off the top rope but meets knees instead.Death valley driver on Steen on the apron.That was sick.A razors edge into a neckbreaker by the briscoes for a nearfall.Generico with a suplex into the turnbuckles and then Steen follows with a front flip splash which Generico follows with a flipkick from across the ring.Steen sets up the Briscoes for their finisher but here comes the American Wolves to put a stop to that.Steen then gets on the mic and says that Sep 26 in NYC it will be Steen and Generico vs The American Wolves in Ladder War 2!Great main event even with the DQ finish.

 

Overall a pretty good show with a great main event.See ya next week!
