WWE Superstars TV report

Welcome back to the Superstars TV Report here at F4wonline/WrestlingObserver. A interesting week of matches and let's get to it.
Chris Masters d. Santino Marella. Masters out to a good reaction, Marella out to a great reaction. To say Marella's pop is bigger than his push would be an understatement. A much better match then the one they had about a month ago on Superstars, mostly because the crowd ate up all of Marella's offense. Masters dominated the early portion until Marella "Hulked Up" and delivered some decent offense. Marella delivered punches and a seated low dropkick for a two count. Marella applied his own version of the Masterlock to the crowds delight, but Masters broke it. Masters got his own Masterlock own and Marella fought it, looking like he was about to break it, but he eventually slumped down and Masters picked up the submission. Your winner is Chris Masters in about 5 minutes. **
Ask a Diva. Have you ever been on a bad date? Alicia Fox was left with the bill. Eve Torres went out with a guy who had bad breath. Mickie James went out with a married guy. Beth Phoenix went out with a guy who lied about his age, he was 30. Next question, do you have any hidden talents? Kelly Kelly went on about how she can do many flips. Rosa Mendes can manipulate people into thinking she's really nice, she's not. Gail Kim says she is a great cook. Any guys want to have dinner with her, she's your girl she says. Ok.
Christian vs. Paul Burchill next.
Smackdown Ten Year Anniversary DVD promo. What I'd pay for Steve Austin vs. Chris Benoit from Smackdown ages ago. It was a great match that I'll always remember.
C.M. Punk promo vid. The choice of a new generation.!
Christian d. Paul Burchill w/o Katie Lea Burchill. Zack Ryder is on commentary~! The ECW broadcast team recaps Ryder becoming number 1 contender for the ECW Title from Tuesday. Christian out first to a good reaction. Paul Burchill out to no reaction and with out Katie Lea. Funny commentary from Zack Ryder, as he gives a shout out to his girl friend and says he's going to tan and do some extra cardio for Christian. Christian clotheslined Burchill over the top and gave him a dropkick between the ropes as we went to break. Back from break with Cristian held in a body vice and sleeper. Ryder was asked if he talked to Burchill before the match, he said no, but he talked to his sister. He said he probably won't call, because she's "NHE" not hot enough. He has this deadpan look on his face. Classic. Back in the ring and Burchill catches Christian up top and delivers a superplex. Cristian comes back with a nice tornado DDT. Burchill with some more nice offense, including a Saito suplex. Christian ended up hitting a Flying European Uppercut off the middle rope and the Killswitch for the win. Your winner is Christian in nearly 11 minutes. ** 3/4
Finlay vs. Dolph Ziggler. TONIGHT!
WWE Kids magazine commercial.
Breaking Promo.
Back from commercial as Jim Ross runs down Batista vs. Orton from Monday.
Orton promo time. Orton says that he did not quit at Breaking Point, that he made a business decision to preserve his body. Also at Hell in the Cell he will make Cena suffer. Interesting.
Smackdown promo. The aftermath from Breaking Point, what will the Undertaker do?
Dolph Ziggler d. Finlay. Ziggler out first to a mixed reaction. Finlay out to a good reaction, maybe they expected Hornswoggle as it died down as he got closer to the ring. Finlay with the early advantage after a shoulder block and European uppercuts. J.R. gives Finlay the advantage in brawling and Ziggler the edge on the mat. INDEED! Finlay had a untied boot and the ref brought that to his attention, as he went to tie the boot Ziggler kicked him in the face. The combatants tumble outside and tease crowd brawling as we go to break. Back from break with Ziggler working Finlay over on the mat and applying a camel clutch. After some brawling Finlay hit three clothesline and the bombs away for a two count. Back up and their heads collide in the corner. Finlay gets a two count after a hair assisted backslide. In the corner and Ziggler kicks the shillelagh into the middle of the ring, he rakes Finlay's eyes and delivers the Zig Zag for the win. Your winner is Dolph Ziggler in about 12 minutes. ***
In closing: Another good week of matches. Hilarious commentary by Zack Ryder, almost worth going out of your way to see or listen too. See you next.
