Dave, If I had three thumbs I'd give it three thumbs up. I was there and thought it was the best show I've ever been to. This was my first TNA show, been to many WWE and WCW shows over the years, but none compared to BFG. Best Match: Tough to choose between Ultimate X, Morgan/Angle, and Sting/Styles, but I'd lean towards Sting and Styles. Worst Match: No bad matches, but I'd rank the Women's Tag Team title match lowest of all the matches. I'm not sure how it came accross on tv, but the crowd loved this show. Felt like TNA had been doing shows on the west coast for years. Tons of crazy spots and some great matches had a lot to do with it, but a full and loud house was good to see. Really impressed by the work rates by everyone. Felt a little weird that the crowd went so crazy for "bad guys" like Joe and Angle, but that's to be expected when you have a local guy and one of the best of all-time wrestling in front of fans for the first time. Couple of technical difficulties and a bad referee screw up, but nobody really cared. I ended up thinking Sting vs. Styles was the best match because the energy in the building was amazing. There was even a huge "THIS IS WRESTLING!" chant going half way through the match, but AJ hit a move that ended the chant. It was cool to see guys get big pops even when they lost. Fans could tell they were seeing strong matches. Didn't feel like Sting, Morgan, or Joe lost tonight.Great "She's Hardcore" chant for Daffney when she was being helped backstage. Overall amazing night, can't imagine any real wrestling fans not liking Bound for Glory. I just hope they come back out here again next year. Ryan McGrady Thumbs Up Best Match: Ultimate X Worst Match: Kevin Nash vs. Hernandez vs. Eric Young I thought a very good show, easily the best TNA ppv effort of the year. I thought that all the matches they spent a lot of time promoting delivered. Matt Morgan and Kurt Angle was a really good old school match, I thought, and that was the best Morgan match I've ever seen.. Joe and Lashley worked a good match, and I liked it because it was different from most pro wrestling matches today. Abyss and Foley was insane, and aside from that terribly botched spot a gruesomely enjoyable match. Ultimate X had too many spectatcular spots to mention, and some were so horrifying that they lost the crowd because they thought someone died. Ladder match was very good as well, definately a thumbs up show. - Dan Marsiglia
Thumbs up! Best Match: Ultimate X Worst Match: Kevin Nash vs. Eric Young vs. Hernandez This was a good show. It was worth the money. Everyone seemed to be working hard. Hoping to see that Styles vs. Angle rematch next month. But this show was better than we were expecting going in. Matt & Belinda Elliott Virginia Beach, VA
Verdict: Thumbs Up Best Match: Angle VS Morgan Worst Match: Knockouts Tag - Sarita/Wilde VS TBP The show turned up way better than expected. Just looking at the match listing before the show, the only one that I had remote interest in was the Ultimate X match. A lot of the matches ended up better than they had any right to be. I think it was all bolstered by the hot crowd who seemed to eat up everything, so that was definitely a positive for the show. The only strange thing was the amount of dueling chants throughout the show, possibly showing the crowd's unfamiliarity with the whole product; they didn't know who to cheer or boo, so they just cheered everyone. Best match was Angle VS Morgan and I thought it really made Morgan look like a huge star. Angle got the win, but it was not like he was beaten overwhelmingly by strength or submission, he was just outwitted at the last moment. Ultimate X match was damn entertaining too, but it really didn't need that scary spot with Daniels and Suicide near the end. It kind of took the edge off the match afterwards. Girls tag was the worst, not much to say about that. Anyhow, this was probably the best TNA PPV this year at least so far. -Jeff Lam Toronto, ONT
