-- Some news notes for today. Dave and I will hopefully be up later this afternoon with a new edition of Wrestling Observer Radio. He is in the UK right now and so our schedules are all messed up, but we'll do the best we can. He's also going to do another news update probably later on this evening with more. I will have a new Figure Four Daily up with more news shortly after this goes up as well. And if you didn't hear it, we've gotten nothing but rave reviews for yesterday's Figure Four Daily with Konnan, so if you haven't heard it yet, check it out. He's a fantastic guest. We'll also have a new Bryan & Vinny Show up tonight and another Figure Four Daily tomorrow.

-- We will have big site-related news in a few minutes on the front page.

-- ECW this week did a 1.0 rating with Christian vs. Regal for the title.

-- Dragon Gate USA tickets went on sale for WrestleMania weekend this morning at DGUSA.tv. The ROH and DGUSA shows are going head-to-head on Friday night. Saturday is actually an incredible day, because at this point the schedule is ROH at 1 PM, Hall of Fame at 4 PM and DGUSA at 8 PM, so anyone who wants to (me) can attend all three. Then, of course, Sunday is WrestleMania.

-- Impact tonight has Kurt Angle talking about Hulk Hogan, AJ vs. Joe in a non-title match, British Invasion vs. Beer Money in a non title match that is inexplicably also a tables match, Abyss vs. Dr. Stevie in a loser leaves town match, the finish of which I will predict is going to be very different from the finish of the Hurricane vs. Paul Burchill mask vs. loser leaves town match on ECW next week, Black Machismo vs. Jim the Anvil Neidhart (seriously), Machine Guns & Red vs. Kiyoshi & Mad Sheik & Homicide, plus an angle they've done three times will be done a fourth time.

-- Superstars has MVP vs. Ted DiBiase, Harry Smith vs. Matt Hardy, Primo vs. Chris Masters in a match the two have done about 200 times this year, and Shelton vs. Zach Ryder.

-- Davey Richards also did a blog on the new Evolve Wrestling website today. You have to scan the page with your mouse to find the secret updates. There is also a blurry photo where if you click on it, it reads:

EVOLVE Divisions

There are three divisions for EVOLVE competitors. They are:

1) Official Singles Division: These wrestlers will concentrate on singles matches. All bouts between official wrestlers will count towards their record. Competitors become "official" either by invitation from the EVOLVE board of directors or by winning a qualifying match (see #3).

2) Official Tag Team Division: Tag teams become "official" either by invitation from the EVOLVE board of directors or by winning a qualifying match. An official team must register as a regular tag team. There will be no makeshift or random tag teams in EVOLVE. A trio can register as a tag team and select two competitors for a match. The trio can also compete in six man tag team matches. All matches between official teams will count towards their record. This means that both regular and six man tag team matches can count towards records. Note: Substitutions can be made in the event of injury to prevent wrestlers from having to rush back early from injury.

3) Qualifying Match: This can be any type of bout, including, but not limited to multi-man matches such as four-ways or various types of tag team bouts. A qualifying match will include competitors trying to earn their way into one of the official divisions. The results of this match will not count towards records.

EVOLVE has sent out five invitations to compete in one of the official divisions. They have gone to Bobb

And yes, it cuts out in the middle of the name. I hope the name is Bobby Dempsey.

-- Flair is in the People of Wal-Mart page after apparently having been assaulted. No idea if it's a new picture of an old one. Pic is up here.

-- Edge and Eve in Melbourne doing an interview here. Starts at about the 31 minute mark. Thanks to Terri Bey.

-- Maryse is back in the ring training for her return.

-- Wisconsin Pro Wrestling returns to Sparta, WI for "Sparta Meltdown II" on Friday November 13 at the American Legion (1116 Angelo Rd.). Steve Stardom, Toyrn Cross, D-Roc, Judge Jessy, Mountain Man Mike, Tiny Tubbs, Logan Lasher, Nathan Sensation, Forces Beyond Man, Daulton Clarke, & Alex Riley are all scheduled to appear. The action begins at 7:30 pm and seats are only $8.

-- More to come later today.
