| I dont see what the big deal about his comments about the healthcare system. He is entitled to them, whether or not you agree with them or not. Some people in Canada say their system is great, others (who I actually know and lived there) says it sucks. So there is no easy answer other than I never hear of anyone going to Canada to get treatment. But the good thing about it is that its gets people talking about an issue that needs to be addressed, politicians dont have a clue on how to deal with it or discuss it. Mike Kulyk |
| Dave, I can't believe Paul Kazprzak's letter was news. He offers no solutions to the health care debate. Instead, he resorts to name-calling and insults, which liberals are best at doing. Like Paul, I live in Florida, where Canadians can't wait to do two things every winter: 1. Avoid the cold 2. See doctors and dentists in the good 'ol USA I'm sure Canada has a fine health care system, yet Canadian politicians such as Daniel Williams and Belinda Stronach prefer to bypass their "free" system, and come to the UNITED STATES for heart surgery and breast cancer treatment. That speaks volumes. Mr. Kacprzak says nothing about tort reform, anit-trust laws against health insurance providers, or the proposed laws against individuals who don't run out and buy their own insurance who will face a fine and/or jail time. I guess he'll go to The Huffington Post or The Daily Kos to get his talking points and respond to the backlash against his letter. At least one part of his letter was funny. The thought of being in a room with Jim Hellwig and Brock Lesnar talking about Obama. Keith Barbaro Tampa, Florida |
