Welterweight Fight

Rich Clementi vs Quinn Mulhern

Fight Starts with Clementi taking down Mulhern. Mulhern is working a rubber guard maybe looking for a omaplata. Mulhern sweeps Clementi with an Omaplata, and then mounts him. Helhern then punches away at Clementi. Clementi is able to lock his legs around the arms of Quinn and gets what looks like a reverse guard. Both men then roll around, and Clementi gets back on the feet, but Quinn shoots in and Clementi guillotines Quinn. Clemneti gets an arm-in guillotine, but Quinn escapes and goes for leg lock on Clementi. Both guys stand up, and Quinn shoots in for a take-down, but Clementi sprawls. Quinn then pushes Clementi to the cage and punches Clementi a little bit. Close Round 1 goes to Quinn 10-9.

Round 2

Both guys are starting, and they doa body clinch. Quinn clenches Clementi on the cage and gets a muay thai clinch and works a few knees, but moves back to body clench. Quinn goes for a judo clench, but Clementi blocks it and still falls down. Quinn then falls on Clementi in half guard. Quinn gets side control and then mount. He then uses some short spurts of vicious ground and pound for a bout 15 seconds. Clementi gets full guard, and Quinn stands up and pounds away. Clementi then goes for a toe hold of some sort wrapping his legs around Quinn in what I call reverse guard. Quinn then pushes Clementi down to the mat and gets in half-guard. Quinn then gets free and gets full mount. Quinn then pounds away on Clementi, and the referee stops it. Quinn looked impressive although it was a sloppy fight.

RESULT Quinn Mulhern beats Rich Clementi 2nd Round TKO

KOTC Flyweight Championship Fight

Joe Coca vs Abel Cullum

The fight starts quickly as they go to the ground with Coca and Cullum's guard. Cullum deliverses some elbows on Coca working a triangle. Able nearly gets a triangle, but Coca escapes. They go back to the ground with Cullum having control of the back of Coca. Cullum is just outwrestling Coca. Cullum then gets full mount and kumura's Coca for the quick win in the 1st Round

RESULT Abel Cullum beats Joe Coca 1st Round Submission (Kumura)

King of the Cage Heavyweight Championship Fight

Tyler East vs Tony Lopez

East tries some high kicks on Lopez, and both excahnge kicks and punches. Both guys exchanging strikes. East landsa big cross, but Lopez is able to evade. East is winning most of the exchanges between the two early on. Lopez tries to keep some space with push kicks. East catches Lopez off balance and gets in the guard of Lopez. Lopez works for an armbar. Lopez then gets a triangle choke on East and taps him out with a tight triangle choke.

RESULT Tony Lopez beats Tyler East via 1st Round Submission (Triangle Choke)

KOTC Interim-Bantamweight Championship Fight

Victor Valenzuela vs Donald Sanchez

Sanchez lands some nice strikes and getsa body clench, and clenches Valenzuela against the cage. Sanchez then gets a takedown and is in the butterfly guard of Victor. Donald then gets into the half guard of Victor. Victor makes his way to the feet, but is being clenched against the cage. Victor is able to escape the clench. Sanchez misses Victor, but is looking for a big punch early. They just stand up for the rest of the round standing not doing too much damage to one another. Donald Sanchez 10-9.

Round 2

Valenzuela starts the round with some impressive hooks and crosses, with some landing on Sanchez. Sanchez not having any of that anymore takes down Valenzuela. Sanchez then gets side control and Victor is trying to work a kumura. Sanchez then elbow Valenzuela in the face a few times and they scramble back up, but Sanches retains a half guard on Victor. Sanchez then pounds away on Victor. Round ends. Donald Sanchez 10-9

Round 3

Both guys trade some huge blows in the beggining. Sanchez takes down Victor again. Sanchez gets half guard and pounds away. Sanchez is trying to kumura Victor from half-guard, but is unsuccessful. Victor is able to sustain full guard for a few seconds, but Donald passes to half guard again and Donald ground and pounds Victor. Victor grabs a hold of the leg of Donald and is looking for a heel hook, but Donald breaks free and gets mount. Donald then pounds away on Victor about to finish the fight, and the fight should be stopped but the round ends. Donald Sanchez 10-9.

Round 4

Sanchez and Victor stand and trade blows. Sanchez then takes down Victor. Sanchez then gets the full mount on Victor, and is looking to finish the fight. Victor isn't doing too much to defend Donald's punches. Sanchez then punches Victor with Victor not doing much for about a minute, and the referee stops the fight.

RESULT: Donald Sanchez beats Victor Valenzuela 4th Round TKO

Heavyweight Fight

Mike Kyle vs Travis Wiuff

Okay why did you have 3 championship fights before the main event which is a non-title fight? Just wondering. Mike Kyle is throwing some punches that are glancing Wiuff. Wiuff looks a little off balance. Wiuff is able to take down Kyle, and lands in the Mike's guard. Wiuff is able to get into half-guard. Kyle is able to sweep Wiuff and then Wiuff tries for a guillotine to no avail. Kyle then gets in the guard of Wiuff, but the round ends. Round 1 goes to Wiuff 10-9

Round 2

Kyle clinches Wiuff against the clinch landing some vicous strikes trying to finish the fight with knees and kick to the stomach. Kyle lets Wiuff up and they stand again. Wiuff then takes down Kyle. Travis finds his way in Kyle's guard. Wiuff then delivers some decent ground and pound with elbows from guard. The referee stands both guys up. Kyle lands a nasty knee to the stomach of Travis. Wiuff tries for a takedown, but Kyle stuffs it and grabs Kyle's head and is kneeling there. The referee then stands them up. Travis is gassed. At the end of the round Kyle lands a hook on the chin of Wiuff and Wiuff is KNOCKED OUT. Herb Dean accidently trips Wiuff as Travis's head hits the cage on his way down which could be dangerous.

RESULT: Mike Kyle beats Travis Wiuff 2nd Round KO
