Guillen at one point had agreed to do an angle with TNA a few years back, but it ended up falling through.
This week has been one of the most interesting weeks of my professional career. I’ve gotten tons of media coverage about me going out for the role of Ukafa in the upcoming Conan the Barbarian film starring Jason Momoa, directed by Marcus Nispel. Throughout it all, my fans and fans of Conan have been nothing but positive with their response to me being part of this film. Hopefully my childhood dream will come true and I will get to characterize Ukafa and showcase what I can do on the big screen. But if not, I would like to say thank you to the casting directors and producers for taking the time to even consider me for this role. It was truly an honor to be able to audition for them. Without holding anything back, let me say thank you to all of my fans, wrestling fans, and fans of Conan (comic, film, and Robert E. Howard’s books) for supporting me in my campaign to play the character of Ukafa in Conan the Barbarian. Thank you for leaving comments on message boards, blog sites and Twitter showing your support. All of your input, whether it is positive or negative, has helped me to better focus and understand what I would need to portray on the screen in order to not disappoint your expectations of what a Conan film should be. .... Thank you all for everything you have said and done for me this week, I truly appreciate it.....
