Sunday has a Raw show in Beaumont, TX and a CHIKARA show at the Arena in Philadelphia and we're looking for reports on these shows as well.
Raw will be Monday night in San Antonio. There will also be an Impact taping on Monday in Orlando. Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff return on the show.
Tuesday has Smackdown & NXT being taped in Corpus Christi with Layla vs. Tiffany for the women's title the only match announced. There will also be an Impact taping in Orlando.

--Time Warner on Demand has the Kevin Nash vs. Mick Foley match from last year's Hard Justice as a Free on Demand match. Their commercial for Hard Justice was cut before the ECW angle, and thus doesn't indicate anything about what the show has turned into
--Bellator has signed a Dave Herman vs. Ricco Rodriguez match early in season two.
--Yet another MMA PPV on 8/14 from Irvine, CA, features Tim Sylvia vs. Paul Buentello from Powerhouse World Promotions at the Bren Events Center. The match will be one of three five-round title fights to create PWP champions. Sylvia vs. Buentello is for the heavyweight title, of course. The show airs on every major carrier including DirecTV. Other matches announced so far are Jason Lambert vs. Allan Goes for the light heavyweight title and Falaniko Vitale vs. Thales Leitis for the middleweight title, plus Jens Pulver faces Diego Farijo. That adds to a crazy month of national MMA events which include two Strikeforce shows, three UFC's, a WEC and weekly Bellator events starting on 8/12. Tickets are on sale ranging from $35 to $110.
--The annual Lucha Libre festival takes place this weekend in Mexico City, with every major promotion running shows, and traditionally, the big companies draw 15,000 to 20,000 fans. AAA is taping television there tomorrow night.
--There is no Countdown, at least on Spike, for the 8/1 Versus UFC.
--Shelton Benjamin faces Ray Gonzalez in the main event a week from today in Bayamon for Gonzalez's Universal title for WWC.
--George Steele, J.J. Dillon, Jimmy Snuka and Larry Sharpe will be guests at the York, PA minor league baseball game tonight.
--The Brooklyn Cyclones, which hosted the most successful TNA house show ever in North America a few weeks back, are promoting another show, just not with TNA. Instead it's using the initials FCW (not for Florida Championship Wrestling) for a show at MCU Park on 8/20 that will include Scott Hall, Tommy Dreamer, Brutus Beefckae, Jimmy Snuka, Tito Santana, Nikolai Volkoff, La Parka and former WCW star Teddy the Tank Reade.
--CCW tonight in Miami at the Miccosusukee Resort and Casino is headlined by Tanaka vs. Dok Rivers, plus Rocco & Sally Boy of TNA security, Pablo Marquez and former Headbanger Chaz Warrington (remember his Beaver Cleavage gimmick, thank God Mothers against McMahon haven't seen that one yet).
--I Believe in Wrestling tonight at the Downtown Rec Center in Orlando featuring Ricky Young (Ricky Ortiz).

--Chris Lytle is happy to be fighting for the first time in his home town of Indianapolis on 9/25 at http://www.suntimes.com/sports/boxing/2526120,CST-SPT-fite23.article He faces Matt Serra in a rematch of a former TUF finale. That show goes head-to-head with Showtime's Super Six tournament and the next Andre Ward fight.

--Former WCW performer Midnight (bodybuilder Ann Marie Crooks during that phase where WCW was looking for a new Chyna) will be speaking on Wednesday night in Pompano Beach, FL at the Christ Community Church at 7 p.m. Admission is free. Now 44, she's talking about giving kids a positive self-image.
--Speaking of which, last night on Real Sports they did a feature on hardcore women's bodybuilding. Was that scary or what? They talked drugs, the lack of prize money, and went in depth about providing services to men with fettishes which is where the real money in the profession is.
--Wrestle Birmingham tonight in Graysville, AL at the Civic Center is listing a "midget" match as the main event, which is a rarity. Also on the show is perennial Alabama jr. heavyweight champion Mike Jackson, who was a hell of a worker on TV 25 years ago, and apparently is quite amazing for his age (around 60) today.
--Wrestle Warehouse has released SoCal Pro Wrestling action figures of SoCal Crazy, Ricky Mantel, Chimaera, Johnny Goodtime and Johnny Yuma for $10 each. Info at http://www.wrestlewarehouse.com
