We'll be starting our ongoing TNA play-by-play at around 8:00 PM PST.

1. Team 3-D vs. Konnan's Krew in the Ghetto Street Fight. LAX won. We had -- get ready -- crowd brawling, outside interference from Mexicans, outside interference from D-Von's black brothers in New York (seriously), outside interference from Johnny Rodz, and outside interference from Alex Shelley setting up the finish. And this was the opener. It was so wild and wacky that I enjoyed it.

2. James Storm & Jackie beat Petey & Gail in the double bullrope match when Storm pinned Petey with a superkick. A real lack of heat, which should come as no surprise given the opener.

3. Senshi vs. Austin Starr in the crossface chicken wing match. Starr lost after distraction from Bob Backlund. Bob wanted a handshake afterwards, but Starr attacked him and put him in the crossface chicken wing. Bob selling this hold was the highlight of the night.

4. Christy Hemme's Heartbreakers vs. VKM. Worst TNA match in a loooooooooong time. DX2K won clean when BG hit a pumphandle slam. Christy got carried out early by Lance Hoyt after Kip rubbed his cup in her face. This was so ungodly bad. Afterwards, since there is only one storyline in TNA, Christy was MAD AT HER TEAM, so she PUNISHED THEM.

5. Sabin beat Lynn in the three-fall X-Title match. Good match. Of course, there was interference in fall three by Chris Daniels, who distracted Lynn leading to the pin. Daniels now had a beard and is DARK. The Fallen Angel is no longer a good guy.

6. AJ vs. Rhino in Elevation X. AJ lost but thankfully did not die. They actually did a hell of a job all things considered and fans were terrified. AJ ended up taking a weak gore on the X (not that I blame him, the scaffold was like 20 inches wide), then took a flat back bump while hanging at arm's length. Scary, but AJ has taken dumber bumps. He did a stretcher job.

7. Steiner vs. Angle. Angle won with, I guess, a sunset flip. I think this was the worst Kurt Angle match I ever saw. Worse, Steiner gave him an Olympic slam and dropped him right on his head and neck. Brutal.

8. Sting vs. Abyss in the Go to Heaven Match. Bad. All it was was a casket match. Sting got busted open hardway. When the coffin lowered, and the building was bathed in blue light and smoke issued from it, people chanted "FIRE RUSSO!" Swear to God. Sting won. We lost. It's too bad because they worked hard. They were just handicapped by bullshit. Welcome to TNA.

9. Christian vs. Joe for the TNA Title. And Samoa Joe is -- NOT your new NWA Heavyweight Champion. They actually had a really good match. Some ref bumps and bullshit, but at least we didn't have multiple run-ins. Finish saw Joe go for the choke, but as he was falling back Christian kept rolling and hooked his foot on the ropes for the pin. Actually a great finish. So in the end, this PPV was definitely not worthless.

Vinny and I will be back by midnight PST with a post-PPV recap show for members, also running down Smackdown from Friday night. Thanks for joining us and we'll talk to you then!
