Show opens with a recap of Backlash showing Lashley losing the ECW Title in the 3 on 1 handicap match. Joey and Tazz welcome us to ECW, and here comes Roberto Lashley. He looks pissed. He says Vince finally got revenge for what happened at WM23. He says the ECW fans aren't happy about it, the ECW originals aren't happy, and he damn sure isn't happy about it. He has a way to make things all better, he will give Mr. McMahon the beating of a lifetime. He wants a rematch right here, right now. Estrada comes out with a neck brace and in a wheelchair. He wonders who the hell Lashley thinks he is to come out and demand anything. He says it's because of Lashley that McMahon got his head shaved, and the reason he is in this wheelchair right now. He has a special message for Lashley from Vince. He will get his title rematch, but not tonight. He states that unless Lashley is physically provoked, he is not allowed to touch Vince McMahon, Shane McMahon or Umaga or he will forfeit his title rematch. Lashley realizes that Estrada isn't one of those mentioned, and he is happy. Lashley drives Estrada's wheelchair into the ring steps, sending him flying.
Elijah Burke is in the back with the New Breed, minus CM Punk. He says that last week, CM Punk set up the entire NB, and he claims the he deserves an apology from CM Punk. He demands that tonight, the rest of the New Breed follow his lead. CM Punk makes his way to the ring. They show a recap of Punk kicking Burke and costing him the fall against RVD and the Originals last week. Elijah is out now with a mic, and the NB behind him. He says this thing has been building for weeks now, he claims that Punk used him and the New Breed for his own personal goals. Tonight, right now, Punk is going to have to fight...... Kevin Thorn.
Match #1: CM Punk vs Kevin Thorn
Punk gets a leg lariat early, but Thorn takes over with kicks and stomps in the corner. Thorn now with a chinlock as the crowd gets behind Punk. Punk goes for a crossbody but gets caught and slammed. Punk now with forarms, a jumping knee, slaps, high kick, into the firemans carry and hits the GTS for the quick victory. Burke doesn't look happy, but he holds back the rest of the NB and they head to the back.
Result: CM Punk wins by pinfall.
Clips plays of the WWE.com promos from the ECW Originals about Vince winning the belt. Extreme Expose returns, fresh of shooting their Timbaland video clip. Layla's hair is no longer straight. Kelly messes up even more then usual tonight. Highspot this week involved spraying cream on each other.
Burke, Striker and Cor Von are in the back, and a pissed off Vampire walks up and asks them were they were. Burke says they were out there watching him get his ass beat by CM Punk. Burke says that anyone in the NB, including Ariel could have beaten Punk tonight. Vampire cuts him off, tells him to shutup and he QUITS the New Breed. More clips of the ECW Originals WWE.com promos play, followed by the SNITSKY hype package.
Match #2: Matt Striker & Marcus Cor Von vs The Majors Brothers (Brian and Brent)
The Majors making their TV debuts here. The Majors get some double team offense early, but striker fights back and tags in Cor Von. He goes to work on Majors#1, and hits a military press into a fallaway slam. A body slam now and a few crossfaces, into a chinlock. Cor Von misses a big splash in the corner and Majors#2 gets the tag and goes to work on striker and hits a flapjack. All four men in now, but Cor Von tosses Majors#1, as Majors#2 gets a nearfall on Striker. Striker hits a clothesline and goes for an irish whip, but Majors#2 hits a cross body from the second rope and gets the 3 count! Burke looks pissed again as the Majors Brothers celebrate. Burke chews out Striker on the outside, claiming that he made him.
Result: The Majors Brothers win by pinfall.
A recap plays of RAW last night with RVD getting spiked by Umaga. Up next, The ECW Originals are going to confront Vince McMahon. McMahon comes to the ring, in a suit and his doo-rag. Vince says he hasn't done too many things in his life that he has regretted, but he is about to. He's going to expose himself. "Excuse me, While I whip this out!". He shows off his..... ECW Championship. Vince says he will defend his title against Lashley, but when and where he says. Vince says it's easy to say something behind some bodies back like the ECW Originals have done, but lets see if the Originals have the guts to come out and say that they really feel. The Originals make their way to the ring. Vince asks RVD how he feels. "YOU KILLED ECW~!". He says it's a mockery of everything they stand for, but Vince cuts him off. He tries to get Sabu's opinion but he just looks pissed. Sandman basically gives Vince the middle finger and turns his back. Vince points to Dreamers shoes and claims they are "FLY BABY~!". Vince is awesome. Dreamer says the fans demanded ECW come back, and not Vince McMahon. Dreamer says that all the fans pay his salary, and they know about the spirit of ECW.
Vince says talk is cheap, and wants to know who's got the guts to take him on 1 on 1. They all day, so Vince is going to choose. Vince is going to make a match right now, and the winner will take on Vince McMahon next week. It's going to be a Four Way Dance, between all 4 ECW Originals. Vince says that in his own style, this will be an Extreme Rules match and gets a bunch of plunder bought out to ringside. Tables, Cement mixers, trollies, vacuum cleaners, everything.
Match #3: Four Way Dance, Extreme Rules - RVD vs Tommy Dreamer vs Sabu vs Sandman
Each of them go for a few quick pinfalls at the start. Crowd is chanting for tables already. Dreamer hits a clothesline off the ropes. RVD throws heaps of plunder into the ring and hits Dreamer with a chair. RVD & Sabu double team Dreamer, but Sabu quickly turns on RVD and lays him out. Dreamer nails Sandman with a trash can and they go to the outside to brawl. Dreamer is on the barricade, RVD looks for the leg drop, but Sabu comes off a chair in the ring and takes RVD out with a crossbody. Sandman with a bulldog on Dreamer onto a trashcan for a two count. Sandman goes up top but gets hit with the trash can. Vince gives that two thumbs up. Dreamer grabs a chair and nails the basement dropkick with a chair on the Sandman in the tree of woe. Sabu nails the Arabian facebuster, and RVD teases teamwork with Sabu but drops him with a back suplex. RVD now slams Sandman in the face with a chair and hits the skateboard dropkick on Sabu. Tommy gets RVD setup for a piledriver and NAILS IT. RVD bounces off his head about a two feett into that air, that looked awesome. Sandman now nails Dreamer with the cane, but Sabu is back with a chair and the triple jump moonsault, and gets a near fall. Sabu outside and grabs a table. He sets Sandman up on the table and goes up top, Tommy cuts him off and nails a superplex on Sabu, throw sandman on the table. Crowd is loving it. RVD up top and hits the frogsplash on Sandman and that's enough for the three count. RVD stares Vince down post match, and Vince doesn't look too happy. Next week it's going to be RVD vs Vince McMahon.
Result: Rob Van Damn wins by pinfall.
Overall Thoughts: Another pretty decent ECW tonight, with the New Breed/CM Punk angle still going. Tonight the Vampire quit the New Breed after a loss to Punk, and Striker/Cor Von lost a match to some no-names in the Majors Brothers and got chewed out by Elijah afterwards. I honestly don't know where they are going with this, but I guess it will culminate in a match between Elijah and Punk at ONS3. The main event was okay for a plunder match, but not as good as the 8-man a few weeks back. Theres now two main story lines going on, with Vince vs ECW probably taking the focus over the next few weeks. Again, I'll have to give this show a THUMBS UP.
