by Andrew M

Show opens with Bobby Lashley arriving at the arena, he is met by Estrada outside in a wheelchair, with four police officers. Estrada tells him if he attempts to enter the building, he'll be arrested and will go to jail. Also if he lays a hand on Estrada he will be arrested. Lashley doesn't care, though, and rolls Estrada down the hill into a bunch of trash. Lashley tells the police officers they should arrest him, and off they go.

Tazz and Joey plug the handicap match main event, before CM Punk makes his way to the ring. Joey also announces that at Judgement Day it's going to be CM Punk vs Elijah Burke. They call me smoooooooth... here comes his opponent tonight, Marcus Cor Von.

Match #1: CM Punk vs Marcus Cor Von

Big chants for CM Punk as things start off. Cor Von in control early, knocking Punk down with a shoulder block. Punk hits a leg lariart and a drop kick, but Cor Von rolls to the outside. He drags Punk out and hits a clothesline before ramming Punk back first into the ring post. Back in and Cor Von works over the ribs with punches, then locks in a bear hug. Cor Von with punches in the corner now. He hits a backbreaker for a two count, before going back to the bear hug. Punk tries to fight back, but Cor Von hits a overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Punk finally comes back with some kicks in the corner, followed by the knee and the bulldog. Both men down for 5, and Punk hits a neckbreaker when they get up. Cor Von again tosses Punk to the outside. Punk comes back in with the springboard clothesline and gets a two count. Cor Von has Punk up top now, but Punk looks for a tornado DDT, but Cor Von tosses him to the floor outside. Burke kicks Punk in the ribs while the ref was distracted. Ref Counting now, as Punk struggles to get back in and he does at 9. Cor Von lines him up for the Pounce and his it. Crowd wasn't into that match at all outside of a couple of spots. They love the Pounce, though.
Result: Marcus Cor Von wins by pinfall

Tazz and Joey talk about Edge winning the World Heavyweight Championship from Undertaker at the Smackdown tapings, and show a replay of the events on RAW last night. Back from commercial and Sandman is making his way to the ring through the crowd. SNITSKY~!

Match #2: Sandman vs SNITSKY

Sandman tries to get some offense in early, but Snitsky cuts him off and locks in a butterfly submission before tosses Sandman into the corner. Snitsky nails a big clothesline, then lines up the big boot for the quick victory. The live crowds never seem to care about him and he's not really getting over doing the same stuff week in week out.
Result: SNITSKY wins by pinfall

Vince is in the back with Shane and Umaga. Vince says the only hope ECW has is Lashley, and at Judgement Day he will have no hope. Shane hopes they wheel a TV into his cell so he can watch what the three of them do to RVD tonight. Vince wants to crush the spirit of ECW by beating RVD tonight. Umaga screams and howls for a bit.

Extreme Expose is in the ring, and they play musical chairs pretty much, shaking their asses ect... you know the deal. I love Brooke. Recaps play from Backlash showing Vince winning the ECW World Title from Lashley, and also showing the events from RAW last night when Vince made the match for Judgement Day: Lashley vs Vince, Shane, and Umaga. MORE recaps of the events when Lashley arrived at the building tonight. Elijah Burke is in the back now, with Matt Striker. Burke says the New Breed are on a roll, because of Burkes leadership. He is focused, he has got something to prove. Elijah is in a match with one of the Majors Brothers and he wants Striker to watch him to see how it's done. They are apparently the "Major" Brothers now, not Majors. Before the match starts, a replay shows of the Major Brothers getting the win over Striker/Cor Von last week.

Match #3: Elijah Burke vs Brian Major

Elijah takes control with some punches and knees and a big kick to the ribs. Joey said CM Punk has gone for x-rays on his ribs. Major goes for a couple of quick pinfalls but to no avail. Burke floors him with a big punch, and a short-arm clothesline. Major tries to fight back, and goes for the crossbody but Burke moves out of the way. Burke pulls his kneepads down, but it's a SWERVE~! as he nails the Elijah Experience (The Stroke) instead.
Result: Elijah Burke wins by pinfall

Kevin Thorn and Ariel have a tarot reading. Ariel says the cards hold chaos, and turmoil. Thorn cuts her off though and says his future was never the New Breed, and it is not in these cards. His future is in... fresh blood. Here comes Shane O'Mac, he grabs the mic and introduces Umaga who he said is an unbelievable ally to the McMahon family. Shane then asks the people to rise on their feet for the man that is not only the chairman of the board, not only the man who defeated Lashley for the title, but the man who is also his dad... Vince McMahon. He comes out doing an awesome strut + gangster lean. Commercial before RVD makes his way to the ring.

Match #4: Rob Van Dam vs Vince McMahon, Shane McMahon and Umaga - Handicap Match

RVD chants to start, as Shane dances around the ring. Crowd wants tables, as RVD and Shane do some chain wrestling. RVD eventually takes over with a spin kick and the monkey flip out of the corner. Another spin kick in the corner, and RVD kicks the second rope low into Umaga as he tries to make his way into the ring, and RVD dropkicks him to the floor. RVD on the outside now, looking for Vince, but Umaga and Shane cut him off. Back in the ring and Shane works over RVD with some elbows, and then locks in an armbar. RVD fights out though and kicks Shane right in the face, RVD hits a spinning leg drop and looks for the rolling thunder, but Umaga gets RVD outside and rams him into the ring steps. "We want Lashley" chants now from the kids. Umaga lays out RVD before tagging in Vince who shoots the half for a near fall. He quickly tags out to Shane. He hits some elbows before tagging out to Umaga. Umaga with a big Samoan Drop, and tags Vince back in again who gets another two. Umaga back in now, and looks for the charging butt in the corner, but RVD drop kicks a leg and takes over. He hits a bunch of kicks to finally get Umaga off his feet. Shane in but RVD tosses him. Umaga lines up the Samoan Spike, but RVD blocks it and hits a springboard thrust kick. RVD up top now, but Shane crotches him and hits a superplex. Umaga in now, hits the big splash from the top, followed by the Samoan Spike. Vince tags in, hooks the leg... and something strange happens as RVD sort of half kicks out and his shoulder comes up at two, but Vince still in the cover and the ref counts again this time for three. Tommy Dreamer and Sabu come out to check on RVD as Shane, Vince and Umaga leave.
Result: Vince, Shane and Umaga win by pinfall

Overall Thoughts: Pretty boring show this week, with not much really happening. CM Punk faces Elijah Burke at Judgement Day in what looks like the blow off to the Punk/New Breed story line, which is a shame because things were interesting there for a few weeks. They might do some angle at the PPV, but I doubt it. The matches this week weren't great and this wasn't helped by a dead crowd who didn't come to life until the main event. The Handicap match was okay i guess, basically the same match that Lashley was in at Backlash with Shane and Umaga doing the work and Vince going for the pinfalls. The end of the match was weird as it looked like RVD got his shoulder up on purpose which I'm sure Vince wouldn't have been happy about. In other news, SNITSKY continued his run of squashes, and the Major Brothers now seem to be a permanent part of the roster. Kevin Thorn is running solo, and his future lies in "fresh blood" whatever that means. For the first time in a while, ECW gets a THUMBS DOWN from me this week.
