Preliminary Card - Live Broadcast on ProElite.com:

a. Rex Richards vs. Ray Seraille superheavyweight
These are some big boys. Richards is throwing his tree trunk arms around. Ray catches one in the face and goes down. Ref stops the fight, Richards with the win about 1 minute in.

b. Seth Kleinbeck vs. Sam Spengler - 185 lbs.
Very slow start, just clinched on the cage. Herb Dean breaks them up. Seth gets the GnP stoppage for the win in round 2.

c. Anthony Figueroa vs. Chris Cariaso - 135 lbs.
These little guys were fast, and working hard all three rounds. Decent fight for mini-fighters. 3 round decision for Cariaso.

d. Jason Von Flue vs. Luke Stewart 175 lbs.
Von Flue's striking looks good but is getting taken down easily. Stewart gains mount at the end of the 1st round but gets reversed. Stewart almost scored a rear naked at the end of round 2. Stewart gets mount and procedes to destroy Von Flue for a ref stoppage in the 3rd round.

e. Aaron Wetherspoon vs. Mike Pyle - 170 lbs.
Good 1st round followed by a horrible second round, all standing and dancing. 3rd round Pyle scores a takedown and delivers some damage much the same as in the 1st. Decision for Kyle.

f. Nick Covert vs. Nick Theotokis - 185 lbs.
Theotokis gets the KO fast. Local guy gets the win.

Pay Per View Swing Bouts:

1. Josh Thomson vs. Nick Gonzalez - 155 lbs.
Thomson submits Nick with a rear naked in the 1st round.

2. Duane Ludwig vs. Paul Daley - 170 lbs.
Good 1st round, Ludwig got knocked around. 2nd starts the same and he gets caught and Daley gets the TKO victory. wow!

Pay Per View Bouts:

3. Cung Le vs. Tony Fryklund - 185 lbs.
Frykland got picked apart by Le's fancy karate moves for most of the first 2 rounds. At the start of the 3rd Le lands a body kick that doubles Frykland over and Le jumps on him for the kill.

4. Carter Williams vs. Paul Buentello - heavyweight
More grappling from Williams than I expected. Buentello landed an uppercut at the beginning of the 2nd that ends it.

5. Victor Valenzuela vs. Edson Berto - 155 lbs.
Edson shot in fast for a takedown and got it. He then fell back for and cinched a heelhook for the win. 47 seconds 1st round.

EliteXC World Middleweight Championship Bout:
Joey Villasenor vs. Murilo Ninja Rua - 185 lbs.
Great 1st round lots of back and forth action. 2nd starts with a bang! Ninja attempt a flying knee, he then start landing strikes at will. The last being a nasty right that drops Joe, and Ninja jumps on him, landing the finishing strikes. Great action.

Main Event - Strikeforce World Middleweight Championship Bout:
Frank Shamrock vs. Phil Baroni
Absolutely awesome 1st round. Shamrock dropped Baroni but could not finish. More of the same in the 2nd but slower. Great action both landing shots. After a flurry by Frank Baroni shoots and gets sprawled. Frank took Baroni's back, can't get t e rear naked so he just moves the grip to behind the neck and puts Baroni to sleep! Awesome, amazing, excellent, a must see match.
