By Matt White

Welcome to another season of the Ultimate Fighter. Sorry about not getting the last episode but I was occupied with family business. Anyways, Joey acted like an idiot as I predicted. I think this show averages losing one idiot per season. They even teased another guy might get kicked out tonight. We’ll see…..

After the fight summary, Coach Hughes looked pissed at practice. He gave a speech. He said he takes this competition seriously and accused Coach Serra of not having a real “team”. He then worked them hard in practice. Hughes beat up guys himself and it was great.

Since Team Serra gets to pick the next fight, the Team Hughes crew thought their rivals would go after one of their weaker guys. The Team Serra crew all wanted Blake and the other weak guy so they could win $5000 for a submission or knockout. These guys are so greedy and Matt Serra thought the same.

Fight Announcement: Richie vs. Blake. Hughes thought the match was more equal than Serra seemed to think. His team thought so as well and they were all acting like pig in crap. However, Coach Serra claimed to be calling a bluff on Matt Hughes. It’ll be interesting to see whos strategery is correct.

Back at the house, everyone reflected about what a goof Blake is. They all then lamented his ultimate destruction at the hands of Richie. Mac Danzig gave him some advice for his match. Hughes legit thought he had a chance.

During the practice, Blake hurt something in his sternum area. He started crying, worrying about getting sent home. Robbie Lawler told him to go to a doctor but Blake wanted to finish practice. Talk about stupid pride. Turns out he had inflammation of the ribs. The doctor told him to take it easy so of course he’s gonna fight.

At the next Team Hughes training session, Dorian started seeing stars and tried to hide it because he wanted to keep training. Coach Hughes caught him and told him to sit out. As Dorian talked to Coach Lawler, he karate chopped the boom mic of the tv crew. A little later he saw the camera shooting him so he threatened the cameraman to stop shooting. Dana White got word of this and talked to Matt Hughes about the incident. Dorian prepared to go home. Mac tried to comfort him. Dana then talked to Dorian about the incident. Dana informed him that he’s on a reality show. Dana gave him a warning about threatening the crew and that was that.

Matt decorated a birthday cake for Blake. I guess Blake wished to win his fight. Richie said that guys got beat up for their birthday present in his hometown. He must come from a screwed up place. Mac didn’t like Richie and expressed his desire to hurt him. Of course, this all led to…

The fight: Blake tried to establish some reach advantage. Richie pinned him against the cage and laid in a beating that funny Blake could not stop. Well, that was a total destruction. Mac had a grin on his face that said, “Richie is mine to destroy.” Matt Hughes wasn’t perturbed at all because Blake gave 100%. A fine show. Next episode: Team Hughes turns on Mac! {plug}
