WWE RAW Houseshow Report – Glasgow, Scotland - 14th October 2007

by ANCHOR~!

I was ringside at the show tonight

This show lacked star power, WWE are going miss John Cena for the house shows BIG STYLE. Only the main event had major stars that people cared about.

I sat next to some nice young ladies all night. THEY WERE SO PASSIONATE. When ever a babyface like Hardy or Kendrick or even Mr Kennedy of all people were getting beaten on, one of them cried “NOOOOO”. They screamed like Melina.

With Lillian Garcia on her Album tour, TONY CHIMEL~! was the ring announcer and he was awesome, why this man was demoted to ECW, I have no idea.

Balls Mahoney pinned The Miz via Roll Up – The Miz was FUCKING HATED, this man should get the title shot at Cyber Sunday.

Snitsky pinned Super Crazy after a Pumphandle Slam – For those that think Snitsky looks disgusting on TV, wait till you see him live.

Tommy Dreamer pinned Elijah Burke after a DDT. This was a long match, Burke is a great heel. He tried to get counted out many times.

Cody Rhodes pinned Carlito after Roll Up. Carlito had apple in his mouth when he was rolled up so it went everywhere – This match proved that Cody is not ready for the main roster, he needs Dusty to be his manager or something. Carlito got cheered at the start, so he had to cut a promo so he would get booed, it kinda worked. He said “WHY DOES SCOTLAND HAVE SMALL APPLES?” You probably didn't go to the supermarket DUMBSHIT.

World Tag Team Championship

Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch (c) defeated Paul London & Brian Kendrick after Cade pinned Kendrick with a Sitdown Powerbomb – This was a GREAT match. Kendrick/London hit loads of whacky moves, including a frogsplash by Kendrick

"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan pinned William Regal after a Clothesline. This was my favourite match. Duggan had the crowd in the palm of his hand. Regal got BOOED out of the building due to being English. Duggan came out with the American flag and got the whole crowd to chant USA. HACKSAW is the man. When the bell rang, Duggan said in a loud voice “WHO RANG THAT BELL....GOOD JOB” Regal and Duggan worked a great match, which the crowd was into, mainly thanks to Duggan playing the crowd.

In a Diva Contest with Val Venis as Special Referee, Candice Michelle beats Beth Phoenix, Layla and Kelly Kelly(NO BROOKE - BULLSHIT). Candice deserved to win after pouring water all over her when she danced. Afterwards Phoenix attacks Candice, but Beth gets stripped and runs off. Val and the girls DANCED, which was a sight to see.

Mr. Kennedy defeated Hardcore Holly by pinfall after a rollup using the ropes. Holly worked babyface. Whenever Holly comes to Glasgow he always gets cheered. Crowd was split, some cheered Kennedy, some cheered Holly. They went outside and were by the barrier, when the girl next to me jumped off her chair and touched Kennedy. She then ran back to her seat and screamed “OH MY GOD I TOUCHED HIM.” Then the WWE security guy said “TOUCH HIM LIKE THAT AGAIN AND YOU'LL GET EJECTED”.

Triple H & Jeff Hardy defeated Randy Orton & Umaga by Pinfall after a Pedigree on Orton – Crowd went absolute nuts for HHH and Hardy. Hardy worked most of the match, getting beaten down. Got the hot tag to HHH who made the comeback with Spinebusters etc.

Show appeared to be over, half the people had left the building but then HHH came back down with a young fan who appeared to be hurt. He probably got elbowed, after HHH was trying to give hand slaps to all the fans that pushed towards the barrier. HHH really felt bad about it. You know “OH SHIT I COULD GET SUED”. They sat on the ring apron, and Hunter got a picture taken with the kid to make things better.

Great show overall, not as good as last year though, WWE are back in Glasgow on Friday night with Smackdown. {plug}
