  • Fight for the Right Finals: Kaz vs. Christian Cage w/Ladder

Lock up, to the corner and they break. Kaz works the arm now, Cage reverses and Kaz front flips out and goes back to the arm. He gets Cage down, top wristlock applied and Cage fights to his feet. Breaks the hold and Kaz kips up and trips Cage and gets a seated headlock. Off the ropes and after some counters Kaz tackles Cage and covers for 2. He tells Cage he was “this close” and Cage smiles. Lock up and Kaz back to the arm, into an arm breaker and Cage counters into a headlock. Kaz sidesteps Cage, who flies to the floor. Cage back in, they go toe to toe and talk shit, and Cage slaps Kaz. Kaz chokes and tackles him and then unloads with rights. Irish whip and a back elbow by Cage, and then he follows with the uppercut off the ropes. A rake of the eyes by Cage, chops now and then a choke to Kaz. Boots by Kaz, forearm shots and Kaz counters a monkey flip and Kaz slams him down, springboard leg drop by Kaz. Corner dropkick to Cage. Cage on the apron, Kaz out with him and kicks by Kaz and a leg drop connects as both fall to the floor. We head to commercial @ 5:30.

Back from commercial @ 10:10 and Kaz is making a comeback. Boot to Cage, and then a dropkick by Kaz. We see some of the action from during the break. A single arm DDT by Cage gets 2. Cage tossed to the apron, up top and Kaz catches him with a dropkick on the way back in. Back elbows and clotheslines by Kaz. Off the ropes and a leg lariat by Kaz for 2. Cage scoops up Kaz, catapult and Kaz springs off the ropes with a spin kick and gets 2! Slingshot DDT by Kaz gets a close 2. Kaz up top now, HUGE leg drop misses. Cage now up top and, Kaz kicks at him and then goes up top. Flux Capacitor try, Cage bites him, Kaz falls off…FROG SPLASH by Cage gets a CLOSE 2! Wave of the future try, countered, unprettier try, countered and then the wave of the future by Kaz gets another close 2! AJ is out and Kaz DIVES onto him! He tosses AJ in, brawl and then Kaz fights off Tomko and Cage! Tomko nails Kaz and Cage hits him with the ladder. 1…2…3.

Winner: Christian Cage @ 15:45 via pin

-BUT Matt Morgan is out while the Coalition celebrates. He says that was another Instant Classic win by Cage. Or, another instant screw job actually. While Cornette is gone, Morgan is calling the shots. His first act is throwing the match out, and it is now a NO contest! At Genesis it will be Cage vs. Kaz, and he will get HIS match as they will have a ladder match to crown the #1 contender! And now you know!

New Decision: No Contest @ 15:45

The commercial hurt of course, but a great TV match until the finish. BUT they made good and signed the rematch, which is a good thing. Kaz looked like a star in that match, which is what they have been trying to do for weeks, but have failed at.

    Rating: **¾

-JB is with the Angles and Nash. Angle blames Nash for it, and Nash says he hasn’t been a good friend. Karen says she will go talk to him and take care of business. She says to get along while mommy is gone.

-Back from commercial and Crystal is with the Coalition. He wants to now why Morgan is in charge. WHO DID HE EVER BEAT? He beat Kaz 1, 2, 3 and now Morgan wants to play boss and redo the match. Fine. At least it will be his match, the ladder match. Kaz can try to climb to the top, but there is only room for one and that is for Cage. Tomko says he has been with him since day one, but who is his #1 guy. Cage says not to touch him, and they have been together for years. And he does what he shouldn’t, and that is think. When Cage isn’t around, AJ is in charge. AJ says Cage is an inspiration, and he is his apprentice. He then challenges Scott Steiner, since AJ wrestled at Gainesville Vocational on Scholarship. DIV III BABY! He challenges his to a takedown challenge…OLD SCHOOL. UNO on UNO! At Genesis, Tomko will end them. I love AJ.

  • NON-TITLE MATCH: Gail Kim © vs. Alexis Jade

Dear Lord Gail is fine. Lock up and a headlock by Kim, takedown and Jade escapes. Headlock again by Kim, Jade escapes and applies a hammerlock. Kim gets a roll up for 2. Another for 2. Jade has a nice ass, just saying. Jade takes her to a corner, chops to Kim now. Irish whip and Kim gets an arm drag, boot and run up LUCHA arm drag! Knee drop by Kim, she goes up top and Jade hits the ropes and crotches her. She chokes out Kim, and then a running knee of doom to Kim! She covers for 2. Snap mare by Jade, kicks to the back and then chokes her out in the ropes. She eats a boot, back elbows by Kim and then clotheslines. A dropkick and neck breaker follows for 2. Kim with a cross body for 2. Off the ropes, knee by Jade and off the ropes, Kim gets her…KOREAN KRUNCH finishes it.

Winner: Gail Kim @ 3:45 via pin

A very good little match there, Jade looked like she belonged and didn’t drag it down. I have no complaints with this. I wonder if that was Alexa Thatcher, I am sure Byers will enlighten us in the Crater.

    Rating: **

-The VKM are out and run down Kim. They say Roxxi will leave with the title. Roxxi attacks her now and gets the dominator. Roxxi celebrates with the belt and Angel Williams is out and powerbombs her off the ropes. She poses with the title, and ODB appears and gets the sack of shit slam on her. She now celebrates with the title. Kim is back with a missile dropkick onto her and leaves with the title.

-JB is with Karen Angle. JB likes her tits, don’t we all. She goes into Hall’s locker room to introduce herself. She has an offer for him and whispers into his ear. He thought she was married, but she says he can trust her. Hall says she should talk to his old man, so he can smarten her up to the business. Hall says you can’t trust anyone. Even rats like her. He is here for Big Kev, it is between them. He says to take her sweet cakes out of his locker room.

-Back from commercial and JB and Karen talk. She says back to her original plan. She goes into the men’s room.

-Tenay and West speculate, and then discuss the rest of the show.

-Morgan comes out and hands West and Tenay something. It is an announcement, supposedly. Morgan has added Machismo vs. Sonjay Dutt for the X-Title at Genesis.

  • Abyss and Black Machismo vs. Team 3D (Ray and Devon)

Ray and Machismo to begin. Lock up and to the corner, rights by Ray miss and arm drags by Machismo. Irish whip and a head scissors by Machismo. Ray pulls a wacky lucha roll and is flustered. Devon tags in, and a dual cross body by Machismo. Springboard dropkick to both and Abyss tags in. DUAL GOOZLE, they fight out and he then clotheslines them both down. A side slam to Devon for 2 by Abyss. Machismo tags in, jabs to Devon and a boot by Machismo. Ray crotches him on the steel post. Devon beats him down now, lots of rights to Machismo and then chokes him out. Ray tags in and mocks Machismo, lays in the elbows and takes him down. Ray sets Machismo up top, tree of woe and clubbing shots by Ray. Rights by Ray again, tag to Devon and he sinks in a headlock. Machismo tries to fight back, elbows out and then jabs. Off the ropes and a HUGE backdrop by Devon. Devon off the ropes and eats a leg lariat by Machismo. BOTH men are down now. Machismo tags in Abyss and Ray is in. Abyss cleans house now. Slam on ray, spinebuster on Devon. Corner splash on Ray. One for Devon! ASS ram to Ray. Chokeslam to Devon! Tags in Machismo. ELBOW DROP on Devon! 1…2…NO? Black Reign is out to attack Abyss and they brawl around ringside. Mitchell is there giving Reign directions. Machismo gets the Macho over the ropes stun gun. 3D rammed together and Machismo covers for 2. LOW BLOW by Devon, and the 3D finishes Machismo.

    Winner: Team 3D @ 8:15 via pin

Another good match tonight. I could have done without Lethal getting the bitch treatment, and I hated that they waited so late to announce his PPV match, but the match was good.

    Rating: **¼

-Abyss and Reign continue to brawl, and 3D gets the table! They grab their belts and lay Machismo on the table and start to whip him! FINALLY the MCMG’s come out to make the save. Hey clear the ring of 3D to a good pop.

-TO THE BACK and Karen tells Kurt that things didn’t go well, BUT she has another plan. It will all be ok. JB whispers to Angle that Karen was in the men’s room. She says she was taking care of business. Angle wants answers and is off to see Hall.

-Back from commercial and Angle makes his way to the ring. He calls out Scott Hall. Angle then goes to the back to look for Hall and that segment was totally pointless. Now we see Angle looking for Hall in the back, and finds Eric Young. Hall appears and they say they don’t know each other. Angle says the stuff with Nash is between them, and says to stay out of his business. Angle then misses an attack like a goof, and Hall slams him into a wall and makes him look like a bitch.

-They run down the Genesis card.

-Crystal is with Scott Steiner. He tells AJ that he was a collegiate star, while AJ was a male cheerleader. Steiner then calls Crystal a skank, and says AJ is not man enough to match the genetic freak. He then says AJ shops at Toys R Us and has Lightning McQueen sheets! Steiner then says he pleasures his chick while AJ sleeps with his Winnie the Pooh pillow. Dear lord Scott Steiner is great.

-AJ comes out in collegiate wrestling gear, and it says GAINESVILLE VOCATIONAL~!

-They took the ropes down for this as well. That adds to the overall feel.

-Back from commercial for the challenge.

  • Takedown Challenge: Scott Steiner vs. AJ Styles

They have a 5-minute time limit, who ever gets the most takedowns wins. They shake and AJ tries to play the speed game, and is failing. This is humorous actually. AJ tosses off his headgear, composes himself and then tosses powder into Steiner’s eyes as the ref takes care of the headgear. AJ is up 1-0. He gets another quick one, and does pushups and is happy. 2-0 AJ. He now gets a 3rd. 3-0 AJ. Steiner is pissed and gut wrenches AJ. 3-1. Steiner shoots for another. 3-2 AJ. A 3rd and it is tied 3-3. A belly to belly by Steiner makes it 4-3 for Steiner. Tomko runs in and we have a collegiate DQ. Rick runs out to make the save. Overhead toss on Tomko by Scott. Steiner lines to AJ and then an overhead toss takes AJ to the floor. Steiner pose~!

-JB is with the Angles and Nash. Kurt says he is insane. Nash says he will take care of business. He thinks if Hall does what he would normally do, then they are in trouble.

-Back from commercial and Crystal is waiting on Sting. Hall comes out of his locker room and hits on Crystal.

-The lovely RAIN is in attendance, with a “Why Miss Brooks?” sign. Tremendous.

  • Kurt Angle, James Storm w/Jackie Moore and Robert Roode w/Miss Brooks vs. Sting, Eric Young and Samoa Joe

Joe is bandaged up, from the vicious cut last week. Joe goes for Roode right away, but he drops to the floor. Sting and Roode will begin things. Roode with a go behind and clubbing shots to Sting. Off the ropes and a tackle by Roode. Off the ropes again and a hip toss by Sting. A dropkick follows and Sting tags in Joe, but Roode is able to escape and run away to fight another day. Storm tags in and he and Joe lock up. Joe kills him with a shoulder block, slams Storm off of a leapfrog try and the lays in the jabs. Back elbow by Storm, but misses a splash as Joe sidesteps him. Joe misses a kick as Storm bails to the floor. Angle tags in and so does Eric. Rights by Eric, Irish whip, corner flip by Eric and then slides in and clotheslines Angle to the floor. Eric to the floor, gets a phone book and nails Angle with it in revenge from last week. Back in and Eric covers for 2. Nash watches on from backstage, Roode knees Eric, which allows Angle to get a belly to belly for 2. Karen makes her way out, smiling as we head to a commercial @ 4:25.

Back from commercial @ 9:05 with Roode in control of Eric. Off the ropes and a backdrop by Roode gets 2. Joe charges into beat down Roode, but gets sent to his room without dinner. Angle tags in, lays the boots to Eric and then gets a side backbreaker for 2. Body scissors by Angle now, Eric tries to get the ropes and Angle looks to lock in the headlock. Eric battles to his feet, Eric escapes but eats a back elbow. Angle goes back to the headlock, Eric to his feet and escapes, only to get beat down. Back suplex try, Eric flips out and tags Joe! He cleans house, snap slam on Angle! STJOE on Storm! Sets Angle up top, ENZIGURI and Angle falls to the mat. Atomic drop on Storm, but Roode trips him up and Storm gets a high knee and then chokes him out. Roode tags in now and works over Joe, but this pisses Joe off and then Roode levels him with a clothesline for 2. Camel clutch variation by Roode, Joe to his feet and elbows out. Irish whip and a back elbow by Joe. Big boot and the leaping knee off of the second rope! That pleases Miss brooks. Tag to Sting and he now cleans house. Tosses Angle, Stinger splash to Storm and then Roode! Death drop on Storm! 1…2…Roode breaks that up. Joe tackles Roode to the floor. ANGLE SLAM on Sting! Straps are down, but Eric tosses Angle to the floor. Storm sets, last call blocked and the scorpion death lock is applied and Storm taps.

Winners: Sting, Eric Young and Samoa Joe @ 15:15 via pin

A damn fine match here, which was a theme tonight. Everyone seemed to be working really hard.

    Rating: ***

    -Back from commercial for…

    THE MAIN EVENT INTERVIEW~!

Nash makes his way to the ring. Nash says he has been waiting all night to find out why Hall is here, and he needs to know now. He asks Hall out to the ring. HEY YO! Hall says it has been a while, and gets welcome back chants. He didn’t get the memo about the dress code and thought they still dyed their hair. He didn’t realize it was time to get mature. Nash says they grow up, and it’s a bitch. Hall says they ran the world, with the KLIQ, and they still do, Nash was easy to find. But how come when Hall staggers and is in the gutter, Nash is nowhere to be seen. Nash says for years he was there staggering next to him. Nash says he almost lost his family, and everything he had. He had to save himself, and maybe he wasn’t the friend he should have been to Hall. Hall says this is now, and it is good to see Nash. They got today and tomorrow. He isn’t Sting’s partner, never has been and never will be. They hug.

Angle makes his way to the ring, and looks confused. He admits that he confused. He says Nash wants to kill him and Hall attacked him, but isn’t the partner.

Sting’s music hits and he comes out. He just stands there, because it’s a MYSTERY~!
