Matt Serra vs. Matt Hughes in their big grudge match for the UFC Welterweight Title, originally scheduled for December 29th in Las Vegas, is off after Serra suffered a herniated disc in training. He collapsed Monday and was in so much pain that he could hardly get off the MRI table. UFC made the announcement today, but no word yet on whether Hughes will still fight or hold off until Serra can return. For those that haven't heard, Ric Flair is scheduled to return to Raw Monday in Charlotte, NC.

Well, here you go. The worst article I have read about MMA all year.
Just a note to say that I hope everyone here in the US had a great Thanksgiving. There was a time when Thanksgiving was one of the big wrestling days of the year. In 2007, we get TNA Impact.
Speaking of, the latest card for Turning Point courtesy Dr. Keith:
TNA Turning Point - Sunday December 2, 2007 - iMPACT Zone, Orlando, FL
1. Kevin Nash, Scott Hall & Samoa Joe vs. Angle Alliance (Kurt Angle, AJ Styles & Tyson Tomko)
2. Six Man Tag Team Tables Match: Team 3D (Brother Ray & Devon) & Johnny Devine vs. The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) & Black Machismo Jay Lethal
3. Match of 10,000 Thumbtacks: Abyss & Rhyno vs. Black Reign & Rellik
4. TNA Women's Championship Match: Gail Kim vs. Awesome Kong
5. Feast Of Fired Match: 15 superstars will compete for shots at the TNA World Championships! Four cases will hang from corners in the ring - three will contain a shot at either the TNA World, Tag Team or X Division Championships. The fourth will contain a certificate informing whoever gets it that they are fired!
Pause for a moment to contemplate the stupidity of a match where, completely at random, you either get a title shot or get fired.
Don't forget to check out today's Figure Four Daily with Derek Burgan for info on Christmas gifts for that special someone in your life. The scheduled Figure Four Daily with Dave Meltzer will hopefully be done Saturday afternoon, or Saturday night worst case scenario. Vinny and I will also be back for members tonight running down a bunch of different TV shows, including Smackdown, TNA, perhaps ECW and Derby City. Because of all the stuff, we may end up with two weekend Bryan & Vinny Shows.
ROH has a huge Black Friday sale ongoing.
