Our ongoing Armageddon play-by-play is about to begin, so please check back throughout the evening for results. We've got a line-up and a link to my Fight Network preview in today's news update, which you can access by clicking here.

1. MVP vs Rey Mysterio for the US Title

Rey won by countout, after MVP decided not to get back in the ring. Rey threw MVP back in the ring after the match and hit the 619. MVP retains the title.

Interview with Jeff Hardy - considers tonight's match with HHH the biggest match of his career. He says he doesn't fear HHH, he will do anything to win tonight.

2. Kane/CM Punk vs Big Daddy V/Mark Henry

This went 10 minutes, Finish came when Henry/Kane brawled outside and Punk came off the top rope straight into a samoan drop and was pinned by Big Daddy V for the clean finish.

Edge met with Vickie - Edge said it was Vickie's love that would inspire him to victory tonight.

3. Mr Kennedy vs Shawn Michaels

Great match, HBK carried Kennedy with no problem at all. HBK won with Sweet Chin Music for the clean pin.

Orton interview - called Y2J a virus, He said he had a code for Y2J - RKO18. It stands for the number of world championships, his last 3 victims has held - HBK, HHH and Cena.

4. Jeff Hardy vs Triple H

At the start of the match HHH screamed "FIGHT ME FIGHT ME" Finish came when HHH went for the Pedigree but Jeff countered and rolled up HHH for the pin. So Jeff Hardy is the #1 Contender for the WWE Title at the Royal Rumble. Great match.

5. The Great Khali vs Finlay

It was a beatdown by Khali for most of the match. Finish came when Hornswoggle lowblowed Khali with a shillelagh, then Finlay hit Khali with the shillelagh and then Finlay pinned Khali.

6. Randy Orton vs Chris Jericho for the WWE Title

Orton threw Jericho into JBL at ringside. Jericho put Orton in the Walls of Jericho, as Orton was about to tap out. JBL hit the ring and attacked Y2J for the DQ. Orton hit the RKO on Jericho after the match.

Jillian came out before the match, saying her album is blowing up in sales. She starts to sing a song from the album until Mickie James interupts then Jillian leaves.

7. Beth Phoenix vs Mickie James for the Women's Title

Beth won clean with the Fisherman suplex for the pin to retain the women's title.

8. Batista vs Edge vs Undertaker for the World Heavyweight Title

Undertaker had Batista in a Triangle but Edge rang the bell to distract Taker so it was broken up. Edge had 2 clones of himself(the major bros?) who attacked Taker but were quickly taken care of. Undertaker hit Batista with a Tombstone but Edge hit Taker with a chair from behind. Edge then pinned Batista to win the World Title.
