-- WWE last night in Lima at the Estadio Nacional drew an estimated 28,000 fans, so a far cry from the 45,000 they were hoping for. It still may have been the largest gate ever for pro wrestling in South or Central America. We're told the show was fair, but missing something. Results saw Hacksaw Duggan beat Carlito, Santino beat Charlie Haas, Lance Cade beat Paul London, Jeff Hardy beat JBL, HHH beat Cena with an FU and two pedigrees (the report we got was that during this match a "CENA SUCKS!" chant started and went non-stop for five straight minutes, which has to be some sort of record), Mickie James beat Beth Phoenix in a good match, DiBiase & Rhodes beat Cryme Tyme, and Shawn Michaels beat Chris Jericho in the best match of the night. -- Paul Heyman has a big story here about who he feels is the brightest star in WWE today, Edge. I did nearly weep when Edge lost the title on Monday if only because the promo he cut before Batista ran down was one of the best heel promos of the entire year and a perfect set-up to a long angle where Raw tried to get their belt back.

-- Vic writes: Sorry if you've already got a bunch of emails about this. I know Vinny mentioned on the show that he used to see Bucanero do this move all the time. I just saw a match online between Bucanero and Koslov from Arena Coliseo a few weeks ago for the CMLL Lt. Heavyweight title where Bucanero used it on Koslov, and it was the finish of the third fall. I watched the match from Mexico online last night, and when he dropped Koslov on his neck, I shouted and jumped out of my chair! I thought he had killed him. So when I watched TNA on my DVR a little while ago, as soon as they set it up with the wheelbarrow, I knew what was next. Good thing too, because I was eating at the time, and if I had jumped up then, my lunch would've hit the floor. :-) That should have been the finish in TNA, too. Nobody should ever kick out of that.
