Show aired on: 07/05/2008
The show opens with a summary of last week's show. The Apache feud is not over yet, and the Tijuana Family beat the Mexican Powers and La Hermandad. But the highlight of the show was the beating Joaquin Roldan took from Konnan and his comrades. For this show (from Merida), two matches involving Apaches (like one wasn't enough), the Foundation meets the Family, and Cibernetico's team will face Zorro and the Legion.
*Promo Video: This one hypes the "hair vs. hair" match between the Apache sisters, which will air next week.
1) Fabi Apache, Estrellita & Gato Eveready vs. Mari Apache, Ayako Hamada & Yuriko
-First Fall: The heels immediately attack the tecnicos, and the sisters go at it again. The triple team attack continues, until Fabi dropkicks both Ayako and Yuriko. Mari tries to attack her sister, but Fabi takes her down with a Hurricanrana. Both teams return to their corners and constant tags are made. Gato hits a Corkscrew Dive on Yuriko, and Estrellita does a Tornillo on Ayako. In the ring, Fabi hits a Double Underhook Facebuster on Mari, but she kicks out. Mari uses the Michinoku Drive on Fabi for the three count.
Winners: Mari Apache, Ayako Hamada & Yuriko
-Aftermath: Fabi is taken on a stretcher
*Pretaped Segment: Billy talks to Apache about the family situation. Billy asks Apache to reconsider, but the veteran asks Billy to stay away from his family. Billy asks Apache to talk to Fabi about the situation and then reconsider. (This segment aired a few months ago)
2) Billy Boy vs. Apache (w/Mari Apache)
-First Fall: Billy is bleeding, thanks to the exposed turnbuckle and a chair. Mari joins the beating, until Fabi arrives to the ring. Fabi takes Mari out with a chair, and Apache also gets a chairshot. Apache is catapulted into the exposed turnbuckle, courtesy of Billy Boy. Mari accidentally hits the referee with a chair. Fabi tries a suicide dive on her sister, but Billy replaces her and does the dive on Mari. Apache hits Fabi with a chair, and the Queen is bleeding. Both men stand in the middle of the ring bleeding buckets. Northern Lights Suplex by Billy on Apache for a two count. Apache fouls Billy and pins him with the Crucifix Powerbomb.
Winner: Apache
-Aftermath: Mari grabs the mic and tells Fabi she's getting her hair, before stomping her sister. Apache grabs his daughter to prevent more problems.
*Noti AAA:
-TripleMania airs next week, and matches confirmed for Part I are: the Cibernetico/Zorro, Apaches and Mesias/Vampiro
-More hype on the Roldan beating from last week.
-The Merida commission of Box and Wrestling did a tribute to Gonzalo Solis Dominguez, for promoting Lucha on the state. Solis is having health problems, so they wish a speedy recovery to him.
-One more reminder for the keys, and Jesus Zuniga is doing some heavy promotion for La Hermandad
*Promo Video: This one hypes the betrayal of Lider on the Mexican Powers. La Hermandad's main objective is to finish the MPs
3) Mexican Powers (Juventud Guerrera & Crazy Boy) vs. La Hermandad (Joe Lider & Nicho El Millonario)
-First Fall: Match is balanced with both teams applying some offensive moves, until the chair is brought. The Hermandad begins to apply dangerous double team moves. The MPs make the comeback using chairs on the heels. Very fast paced match, and it's hard to keep track of every move. Juvi takes out Nicho with a Springboard Plancha to the outside. Crazy suplexes Lider into two steel chairs. Crazy tries the Chair Moonsault, but Lider dodges. Lider puts a chair across Crazy's neck, and delivers a Diving Stomp to finish the match. A complete disaster.
Winners: Joe Lider & Nicho El Millonario
*Pretaped Segment: Chessman tells Mesias he will unleash the dark side within him. What happened to Charlie Manson and Cibernetico is fault of Mesias. Chessman won't forgive Mesias, and he will take the former champion with him to hell.
4) Hart Foundation 2.0 (Teddy Hart & Jack Evans) vs. Tijuana Family (Halloween & Extreme Tiger)
-First Fall: Evans does his Cartwheel Dive on everyone outside, and Hart hits an insane Moonsault off the scaffold on everyone too. Back in the ring, both teams trade fast paced moves. Halloween actually locks the Crippler Crossface on Hart, but the Canadian replies with a hard Fujiwara Armbar. Tijuana members apply double Armbar on Hart, but Evans breaks it. Halloween gets a Backbreaker/Shooting Star Elbow combo from the Harts. Evans is catapulted by Hart, but Halloween spears him in mid-air. Evans is placed on two chairs, and Tiger does a Swanton Bomb on him. Spear by Halloween, but Hart kicks out. Hart misses the Corkscrew Elbow, and Tiger accidentally breaks neon lighbulbs on Halloween. Hart takes out Tiger with a Craddle Suplex, and pins Halloween with a Shooting Star Press, getting his hand cut in the process.
Winners: Teddy Hart & Jack Evans
*Pretaped Segment: Mesias says they're messing with the wrong guy, in the wrong moment. Mesias says he's not scared of Vampiro, because he is the second legend killer (Orton got the name first). Regarding Chessman, he should be pleased that he's facing Mexico's best wrestler, whether he likes it or not.
5) Chessman vs. Mesias (w/Dark Ozz)
-First Fall: Mesias gets the upper hand, but Chessman does a Superkick on him. Mesias lands outside, and Chessman takes him out with a suicide dive. Chessman sets a ladder at ringsidr, but Mesias smashes his head into the ladder. Slingshot Crossbody by Mesias on Chessman. Mesias throws the ladder to Chessman, and uses it as a weapon on his chest. Ozz attacks Chessman from ringside. Chessman bleeds, due to the straight fists to the head that Mesias applies. Mesias argues with the referee, while Ozz attacks Chessman outside the ring. Chessman makes the comeback by backdropping Mesias into the ladder. Chessman sets Mesias on top of the ladder, and goes for a Moonsault, but misses. Chessman spears both Mesias and Ozz. While the referee kicks Ozz out, Mesias throws a FIREBALL into Chessman's face, and pins him.
Winner: Mesias
-Aftermath: Vampiro arrives, but Mesias clotheslines him. Mesias brings a table to the ring, but Vampiro powerbombs him through his own table. In the mean time, Chessman receives medical assistance for the burn he just got.
*Promo Video: This one hypes the Cibernetico/Zorro feud, and their match at TripleMania 16 (which airs next week). Nothing new on this video.
6) Cibernetico, La Parka & Alan Stone vs. Zorro, Konnan & Kenzo Suzuki
-First Fall: All six guys tag in an out to find the right opponent to start the match. The heels snap, and the early triple team assault begins. Zorro brings his kendo stick to attack the champion. Typical Legion match, with their assault lasting the entire show. Cibernetico finally makes the comeback with a double clothesline on Konnan and Zorro. Konnan pulls Parka's feet, and the Legion is back in control. Alan gets the Legion Smash from Kenzo and Zorro, and he's out. Kenzo uses the Brainbuster on Parka, with the help of Zorro. Parka is pinned, and Cibernetico submits to the Zorro Stretch.
Winners: Zorro, Konnan & Kenzo Suzuki
-Aftermath: Joaquin Roldan appears with no bodyguards to confront Konnan. Roldan claims he has a big surprise for him, after the way he was treated in Cancun last week. The Legion claims they're not scared of Roldan, but the promoter says he doesn't care. Konnan gets into Roldan's face, thinking the Legion is finishing the tecnicos, but he's wrong. Zorro and Kenzo are kicked out of the ring, leaving Konnan alone with Roldan and the tecnicos. The surprise of Roldan for Konnan, is a beating from him and the tecnicos. Payback time, and Roldan kicks Konnan along with the tecnicos. Roldan leaves, and Konnan is very pissed off.
FIANL COMMENTS: Overall, a regular show. They did a nice job hyping the top three matches of the first part of TM. TripleMania 16 Part 1 airs next week, and if you are expecting to see Bobby Lashley and Brian Danielson, then I guess you'll have to wait for Part 2. The Zorro/Cibernetico feud has been well built, but I have my doubts regarding the in-ring quality. Mesias/Vampiro is not a strong feud, but the hardcore stipulation may bring some sick spots to their match. I'm expecting a great match from both Apache girls, but I really hope this is the last thing we see of this feud, because it has been dragged for a LOOOOONG time, and it needs to end ASAP.
