The show opens with a videoclip of La Parka. He says this is the 16th anniversary of AAA, and there was triumphs, suffering, injuries, and more. But always keeping the idea of moving forward. Parka says Antonio Pena had the illusion to be in the Palacio, but his essence is with the entire AAA, just like everyone is AAA.
Now the regular weekly opening. Last week, we got a another dose of Apaches, The Foundation defeated the Family, and the Legion defeated Cibernetico and his team. Obviously Joaquin Roldan got his revenge on Konnan for the beating of two weeks ago. For this show, The Apaches bet their hairs, Vipers will be on action, and Zorro challenges Cibernetico for the AAA title.
They also air a small summary of the 15 TripleManias (so WWE style). But it gets stuck on TM 14, which was Antonio Pena's last Mania. He basically thanks every person for making one of the best promotions in the world. Then it moves again, and the countdown begins. The show oficially opens with pyro, a nice looking set, and the band Moderatto playing for the crowd (again, so WWE style).
*Pretaped Segment: Octagon talks to the Real Fuerza Aerea guys, and tells them to show everyone why they were included on the card for tonight. Angel and Aerostar are full of spirit, but SuperFly is hesitant about facing such a dangerous team (La Secta). Octagon tells Fly its all about the mentality they have, and he's sure the young men will win.
1) La Secta (Ozz, Cuervo, Scoria & Spiritu) vs. Real Fuerza Aerea (Aerostar, Superfly & El Angel)
-First Fall: Every man gets in the ring to attack each other. Fly tosses Ozz out of the ring with a Hurricanrana, but Scoria gives him a Corkscrew Crossbody. Angel takes out Scoria with a Spinning DDT, and Cuervo attacks him. Aerostar tries on eof his springboard maneuvers, but Spiritu shakes the ropes. La Secta capitalizes and the the triple team attack begins. The assault continues, untill Fly dodges the offense of the heels, and Aerostar takes them out with a Springboard Dropkick. Fly hits his trademark Cartwheel Moonsault on Ozz, and Angel takes out Cuervo with a Diving Crossbody. Aerostar hits his Springboard Meteor to finish Scoria. In the ring, Fly tries a springboard maneuver, but Ozz catches him in mid-air and does a Swinging Bottom. Ozz rolls Fly for the three count.
Winners: Ozz, Cuervo, Scoria & Spiritu
*Pretaped Segment: Konnan talks to Zorro about the invitation he made to him a year ago. Obviously Zorro decided to join the Hell Brothers, which was a big mistake, because it was all about Cibernetico. Konnan tells Zorro that joining the Legion was the best decision he took. Konnan tells Zorro he's walking out champion, and Zorro says only a miracle can save Cibernetico.
2) Octagon, Alan Stone & Brazo de Plata vs. Vipers Revolution (Psicosis, Histeria & Black Abyss)
-First Fall: Porky is received with chops and slaps from the Vipers. Porky begins to toy with the three heels, and smashes them all. Alan also tags in, and the Vipers can't control the speed of the tecnico. Octagon dominates Histeria with his classic martial arts moves. Porky tries to toy with the Vipers again, but this time the Vipers retaliate. The triple team attack begins, and every tecnico is assaulted individually. Octagon tosses Histeria out of the ring, and takes him out with a suicide dive. The rest of the Vipers land outside, and Alan takes out Abyss with a Springboard Plancha. Porky also flies to finish Psicosis. In the ring, Octagon makes Histeria submit to La Corbata.
Winners: Octagon, Alan Stone & Brazo de Plata
*Noti AAA:
-New York was the place where the first animated AAA was presented. A few of the wrestlers and promoters attended the presetation, which took place on a boat (yes, a boat). The release of the fil is scheduled for the fall of 2009.
-The first trailer of the animated movie is shown. Some wrestlers include Octagon, Abismo Negro, Gronda and La Parka. It's about how rudos and tecnicos and team up together to face the forces of evil, and they even battle through different eras of time. Decent animation.
-TripleMania 16 was a success, and the fans enjoyed it.
-Bobby Lashley made his debut for AAA, and it should air next week.
-A message from Konnan, and he says Zorro will leave champion, and Roldan will pay for what he did.
-Arturo Rivera was given a medal for his career as a broadcaster, and he thanked everyone. He hopes that at least one of children follows his footsteps in his career.
*Promo Video: This one hypes the Mexico/America/Tijuana match. The same one that aired a couple of weeks ago.
3) Tijuana Family (Halloween, Extreme Tiger & TJ Extreme) vs. Hart Foundation 2 (Teddy Hart, Jack Evans & Bryan Danielson) vs. Mexican Powers (Crazy Boy, Ricky Marvin & Ultimo Gladiador)
-First Fall: If one member of the team is eliminated, and then the whole team is out. Danielson, Tiger and Marvin open the match, and Marvin is attacked by the heels. Danielson turns on Tiger, but Marvin goes after him. Marvin takes care of the Tijuanas, but Danielson delivers hard kicks on the imported. Danielson and Marvin practice some nice chain wrestling, until Tiger gets back. Both Danielson and Marvin are outside, and Tiger takes them out with a Corkscrew Senton. Evans attacks both MPs, but his moves don't work. Hart comes to the rescue. Halloween joins in, and so does TJ. The Tijuanas are under control, until Danielson returns. Halloween takes out Danielson with a Spear, and the Harts are also punished. Outisde the ring, the MPs battle the Americans, until the Tijuanas deliver Hilos to take everone out. Marvin does a Zigzag Crossbody on everyone outside. In the ring, Hart pins Halloween with the Powerbomb Backbreaker, and the Tijuanas are out.
The Americans are under control, and they apply several double team moves. Marvin makes the comeback, with a Enzuigiri/Tornado DDT combo on the Harts. The MPs are now under control. Marvin bounces off the ropes, but a blooded Danielson dropkicks him in mid-air. German Suplex by Danielson on Marvin for a two count. Both Marvin do counter after counter, but no pinfall arrives. Hart does a Headscissor DDT through the ropes on Crazy, and delivers the Corkscrew Elbow. Gladiador makes the save, but Danielson attacks him. Danielson hiptosses Marvin out of the ring, and takes Gladiador out with a suicide dive. Hart does the Springboard Moonsault to take out every man outside. In the ring, Evans delivers Flying Knees on Crazy, but he kicks out at two. Evans connects the 630 Senton, but Crazy kicks out! Crazy hits a sick Package Pildedriver on Evans to score the pin.
Winners: Crazy Boy, Ricky Marvin & Ultimo Gladiador
-Aftermath: The Extreme Brotherhood arrives to destroy the MPs. Nicho sprays "187" on Crazy, and the Brothers celebrate.
*Pretaped Segment: Billy asks Apache if he doesn't feel bad about his daughters exposing their hairs. Apache says he has created two monsters, and that's because of Billy Boy. Billy tells the veteran that if he can recover his family with Billy's absence, then he's willing to leave them alone. Apache says it's too late for Billy to do that, but he tells the veteran it's not too late yet.
4) Hair vs. Hair Match
Fabi Apache (w/Billy Boy) vs. Mari Apache (w/El Apache)
-First Fall: The sisters attack each other with hard kicks. Fabi kicks Mari out, and takes her out with a Diving Plancha. Apache also gets part of the impact. Fabi apparently injured her knee, but she manages to return to the match. Fabi does a Rolling Armbar, but Mari refuses to submit. Apache pulls Fabi's legs, and Billy goes after him. Fabi locks a Single-Leg Crab, but Mari reaches the ropes. ASpache hits Fabi with a soda can. Mari bites the forehead of Fabi, and the Queen is bleeding buckets. Mari removes the turnbucle pad to use it as a weapon. Fabi does a Drop Toehold, and Mari's head lands on the exposed turnbuckle. Now both sisters are bleeding hard. DDT by Fabi on Mari for a fast two. Double Underhook Facebuster by Fabi, but two count again. Mari hits the Swanton Bomb, but Billy pulls the referee's leg. Backslide by Fabi, but Mari kicks out again. Apache holds Fabi by the hair, but Mari accidentally kicks him. Billy finishes Apache with a suicide dive. Both sisters kick out of each other's moves. Fabi finally hits the Dragon Suplex on Mari for the dramatic three count.
Winner: Fabi Apache
-Aftermath: Apache grabs the mic, and tells Mari he's the one to blame for everything, so he wants to be shaved. The referee tells Apache that the local comission won't allow it, so Mari must be shaved. Apache insist to be shaved, and he shaves himself. Mari wants to be shaved since she was the true loser. Both Apaches are shaved, and the sisters hug each other. Apache begs pardon from both women, and the three share an emotional moment together.
*Pretaped Segment: Brazo de Plata is leaving the copper dome, but the Guapos VIP arrive to congratulate him. The Guapos introduce their new member: El Brazo, who is Porky's brother. The four Guapos and Guapito destroy Porky. Brazo claims he will KILL Porky, because he hates him so much.
*Pretaped Segment: Cibernetcio asks Joaquin Roldan if he's aware of the danger he's in by becoming his second. Roldan says it's all about celebrating the event that Antonio Pena created, and he's sure Cibernetico will win. Apocalypsis Ahora!
5) AAA World Heavyweight Championship
Cibernetico (c) vs. Zorro
Seconds: Joaquin Roldan and Konnan
-First Fall: Tirantes is the referee, whch is weird. Both men apply basic holds to begin the match. Zorro uses his kendo stick to attack Cibernetico, but Tirantes removes it from the king. Zorro uses some hard punches to punsih Cibernetico. Zorro works on Ciber's left leg, but the champ kicks him. Cibernetico tries a Suplex, but Zorro rolls him into a Small Package for a two count. Zorro locks the Sleeper Hold, but Ciber throws him to the mat. Sleeper locked in again, but Ciber makes his way out of it. Ciber connects a Stunner through the ropes on Zorro. Ciber covers, but Konnan breaks the pin. Konnan argues with the referee, but Zorro takes him out with a Superkick. Konnan takes out his black shirt, unveiling a REFEREE SHIRT, so Konnan is the referee now. Roldan tries to confront Zorro, but Konnan pushes Roldan into a tunrbuckle. The heels try to double team Ciber, but the champ replies witha double clothesline. Roldan is bleeding very hard from the nose. Zorro uses the kendo stick again, sets Ciber for the Zorro Stretch. Roldan grabs the kendo and hits Zorro. Konnan attacks Roldan, but Cibernetico knocks him with a Stunner. Cibernetico chokeslams Zorro, and Tirantes Jr. arrives in time to make the three count.
Winner and STILL AAA Heavyweight Champion: Cibernetico
-Aftermath: X-Pac, Bobby Lashley, The Harts, Danielson and a middle eastern guy arrievto the ring, but Roldan is taken out of the ring on time. Ciber and Roldan celebrate on the entrance platform, while the Legion aids Zorro and Konnan. Konnan grabs the mic, and says that was a fluke. Zorro says that miracle won't happen ever again.
FINAL COMMENTS: Overall, a good show, but not an excellent one. The true main event of the show was the Apaches match. What a fantastic way to end such a horrible feud. The match was exceptional when it comes to ring acitivity, and the psychology of the match made it very emotional. That is how a women's match is done. The Cibernetico/Zorro match was just the way I expected it. The idea was good, but the performance was below average. We need a new challenger for Cibernetico now. The trios match had some botched spots, but it was still very entertaining, and the chemistry between Danielson and Marvin was phenomenal. Part 2 will air next week, and it will have the Mesias/Vampiro match (they promised it for this part), and Lashley's match.
