By: Xavier Hernandez
Show aired on: 09/28/2008
The announcers welcome us to the show from the ring, and they interview Diamante Negro, I mean Dragon Rojo Jr. They show a video of Sagrado, who wants to show that he and his partners are better than Dragon and his team. Dragon says that Mictlan belongs to the past, and now he wants Shadow and Valiente.
*Under the Ring:
-It's turn for Hijo del Perro Aguayo. His wife says that Perro is very active, but gets desperate due to his injury. His wife tries to give him as much support as possible. His wife says he's very charismatic, and interacts well with the genral public. Perro's wife suggest that his husband should slow his physical efforts a little, because he could become injury prone. But she still believes Perro is the best wrestler around. His wife says that Perros doesn't act as a heel in real life, but is very cute and kind. His wife hated him at the beginning, but she later fell in love with him, even though she had a boyfriend. Perro says his wife is the best woman in thw world, and he's very thankful for her support.
*The Ring Vault:
-It's been quite a while since we don't get this segment. This time, the 8-year old Diego shows us his collection of Lucha Libre. He shows his replica of the Arena Mexico ring, with many figures such as Dr. Wagner and Universo 2000. But his idol is Mistico. He has tons of Mistico items, including figures, notebooks, masks, cups, and more. (There's no doubt that Mistico is the master of merchadising).
1) Leono, Mascara Purpura & Tony Rivera vs. Satanico, Virus & Misterioso Jr.
Prematch Comments: Tony is still going after Loco, and doesn't care if he sent Satanico's team to beat him. Tony will even look under rocks to destroy Loco. Satanico simply welcomes the fans to the best wrestling in the world.
-First Fall: Satanico pushes Purpura to kick things off. Purpura replies with a dropkick. Stanico applies hard takedowns, but Purpura counters them all. Virus and Rivera tag in to do fast paced moves, but Satanico attacks Rivera. Misterioso also atacks Rivera, but he gets tossed out, and Rivera hits a suicide dive on him. In the ring, Purpura pins Virus with the Shooting Star Splash, while Leono pins Satanico with La Casita. Winners of 1st Fall: Leono, Mascara Purpura & Tony Rivera
-Second Fall: The heels continue the triple team attack on the tecnicos. The heels accidentally clothesline Satanico, and the comeback begins. Purpura does a Diving Back Attack on Misterioso, while Leono hits a top rope Moonsault on Virus. In the ring, Rivera is about to finish Satanico, until Loco Max attacks Rivera. This causes the DQ.
Winners: Leono, Mascara Purpura & Tony Rivera
-Aftermath: Loco continues to attack Rivera, while the rudos make physicla threats to the referee for awarding the DQ.
2) El Sagrado, Valiente & Grey Shadow vs. Black Warrior, Olimpico & Dragon Rojo Jr.
Prematch Comments: Shadow cuts another promo in English. He warns his opponets that he and his teammates will take the rudos down. Warrior doesn't need intro, and he doesn't care who is he facing, because he's leaving the ring victorious.
-First Fall: Dragon and Valiente kick things off, but Warrior joins in for double team. Shadow tries to help Valiente, but so does Olimpico. Sagrado is assaulted by the rudos, and now we have the triple team attack. Valiente is pinned with an Elbow Drop Backbreaker from Warrior and Olimpico. Sahdoe is also pinned with the same maneuver, but the rudos switched places this time. Winners of 1st Fall: Black Warrior, Olimpico & Dragon Rojo Jr.
-Second Fall: The heels continue the assault on the tecnicos. Olimpico takes Valiente to the steel ramp, while Warrior messes with Sagrado's mask. Sagrado hits a Hurricanrana on Olimpico, and the comeback begins. Valiente uses the Tombstone Gutbuster to pin Dragon, while Shadow makes Olimpico submit to a hard Cross Armbreaker. Winners of 2nd Fall: Sagrado, Valiente & Grey Shadow
-Third Fall: Dragon and Valiente start the fall with hard chops and kicks. Valiente does his usual rope double jump, but turns it into a beautiful armdrag to toss Dragon out of the ring. Outside the ring, Valiente delivers a Whirl Backbreaker on Dragon. Sagrado applies hard kicks on Warrior. Olimpico flees from Shadow, but Valiente surprises him with a suicide dive. Dragon also jumps off the apron to take down Shadow. In the ring, Warrior reverses La Casita into a unique Leglock/Armlock combo to make Sagrado submit.
Winners: El Sagrado, Valiente & Grey Shadow
-Aftermath: Leo Magadan interviews Olimpico, who claims his match was very easy. The heels are in another level. The brawl continues, while Warrior toys with the mask of Sagrado.
FINAL COMMENTS: Overall, a regular show. Nothing much to say for this one. Seems like the next feud in this show is the Rivera/Loco Max, which maybe interesting.
