AAA on Galavision TV report including thoughts on a dubious Observer award

AAA on Galavision
By: Xavier Hernandez
Show aired on: 11/08/2008

The show opens with the classic summary of last week's show. Konnan gained tons of heat by stealing the "ashes" of Antonio Pena. Grey Shadow jumped from CMLL, and joined X-Pac's D-MEX as Rocky "Azucar" Romero. For this show, Zorro will battle Cibernetico, while the Psycho Circus will look for the 210th victory against the reformed "Black Family".

*In-Ring Segment: Once again, welcome to RAAAW! Konnan enters the ring with the urn in hand. Konnan wants to negotiate the ashes of Antonio Pena for the things he has demanded for months. Joaquin Roldan arrives with many bodyguards, but Konnan calls the Legion guys to take out the bodygurards. The AAA guys also arrive to the ring to save Roldan, and to remove the urn from Konnan. Roldan is very happy to have the urn back, but Konnan makes him realize the urn he holds was not the real one. Konnan claims he placed the urn in a safe place, because he doesn't trust Roldan. Konnan gives Roldan two hours to decide if he wants to negotiate or not. Roldan says he will not negotiate the ashes, so Konnan must hand the urn back. Konnan says he doesn't care, and reminds Roldan of the two hour limit again.

*Pretaped Segment: In the streets, we have Sean Waltman and Rocky Romero walking with a masked person. Waltman says they just brought one more member to kick someone's ass. Alan Stone appears in another video, and bows to make Konnan pay for stealing the ashes. He also claims the Bellos will defeat the Hart Foundation, to prove that Mexicans are better. But Alan also cannot forget about what D-Mex did to them, and they will eventually pay for what they did.

1) Bellos Stone (Alan Stone & Chris Stone) vs. Hart Foundation 2.0 (Teddy Hart & Jack Evans w/Nikki)

-First Fall: Alan and Hart open with technical maneuvers. Chris hits the Ropewalk Plancha on Hart, but Evans makes the save. Both teams begin to use a series of aerial moves on each other. Evans hits his Corkscrew Dive on Alan, while Hart uses a high impact Moonsault on Chris. Guess what, D-MEX JUST ARRIVED TO THE RING!! The Harts argue with D-MEX, but they are rolled and pinned by both Stones.

Winners: Alan Stone & Chris Stone

-Aftermath: The masked guy hits a chair Superkick on Hart, but Waltman stops him from attacking Evans. Nikki slaps the masked guy, but he replies with a huge Enzuigiri on Nikki's head. Both Romero and Waltman hit a Tombstone Piledriver on Hart. The masked guy is non other than CMLL's ALEX KOSLOV!! Koslov tells the crowd he's the Russian Koslov, and there's no better place to debut for AAA than Queretaro. Koslov claims they want to make a revolution, and a scandal called D-MEX. Koslov says they do whatever they want, whenever they want. Waltman closes with "S*CK IT!!, and they even do DX crotch chops. Security removes the trio from the ring.

*Pretaped Segment: Konnan wants Zorro to be fully focused for his match with Cibernetico, but he is interrupted by Evans. He wants Konnan to do something about X-Pac and his crew, but Konnan says he has a big issue with Zorro, and will deal with Waltman later. Konnan wants Zorro to destroy Cibernetico, but Zorro wants to do it alone, without any help from the Legion. Zorro wants to trust Konnan, and he hopes Konnan keeps his words of not sending the Legion for his match.

*Pretaped Segment: Scoria tells the clowns that they will cry tears of blood, because the Family is addicted to pain. Cuervo tells Vampiro that the Family doesn't play games, and evey bout will be more painful, until Vampiro is done. Spiritu tells Chessman that they don't know his true intentions, but he doesn't know their intentions either.

2) Psycho Circus (Zombie, Killer & Psycho Clown) vs. Black Family (Cuervo, Scoria & Spiritu)

-First Fall: Both teams start with equal amount of offense, but the Family begins the triple team assault. The clowns suddenly make the comeback, and the reign of terror begins. The clowns miss aerial moves, and the Family retakes control. The referee is tossed out of the ring, and Chessman arrives. Chessman helps the clowns, and tosses the referee back into the ring. The referee makes the three count, and the clowns remained undefeated.

Winners: Zombie, Killer & Psycho Clown

*Pretaped Segment: Konnan talks to Electroshock, and they promise to use an old trick on Octagon (a trick used by the likes of Fuerza Guerrera, Eddie Guerrero and Love Machine). Electro tells Octagon they will bring old school back to him, and will make sure Fly receives the biggest does of pain from him. Konnan makes a phone call, and talks to someone. Konnan asks the person to remain in his room. On the other hand, Octagon asks Fly to join forces to get the urn back from Konnan. Fly is still hesitant, but Octagon asks Fly to trust him. Both promise to bring the urn back.

3) Konnan & Electroshock vs. Octagon & SuperFly

-First Fall: Konnan brawls with Octagon at ringside, while Electro targets Fly. The heels start the double team attack. Konnan uses the old trick on Octagon: tying his mask to the ropes. The referee makes sure Octagon cannot undo his mask fron the ropes. Electro hits a Flapjack Powerbomb on Fly for the three count.

Winners: Konnan & Electroshock

-Aftermath: Joaquin Roldan arrives to the ring, and Konnan wants to know his decision. Roldan wants to know his conditions, and Konnan is happy to hear that. Konnan wants to be booked every week, he also wants a locker room for himslef and the Legion, and Tirantes and arturo Rivera are also included. Roldan wants the ashes first, and then he will negotiate. Konnan's real wish is to control AAA, but Roldan says there's no way. Roldan agrees to negotiate, but both will have to sign a contract. If Konnan wins, he takes control of AAA, but if Roldan wins then Konnan will retire.

*Pretaped Segment: D-Mex is at it again, and the three claim nobody can hold them back. On the other hand, Konnan is happy because he will soon take over AAA. Konnan is also happy for the performance of Electro, and wishes Zorro was as focused as Electro is. Konnan promises that if Roldan tries another dirty trick, then he will smoke the ashes.

*Noti AAA:
-Supposedly, the ashes of Antonio Pena weren't present at the annual mass. Cibernetico promises to make Konnan pay for what he's done. Vampiro recognizes Konnan as a legend and true star, but now Konnan simply lost it. Marisela Pena says enough is enough, and wants the ashes back with her.
-Hype on the most unoriginal team "D-Generation MEX", and there is one more member to come.

*Promo Video: Hype for Charlie Manson and his situation. He feels disappointed about the split of the Hell Brothers, and must take a decsion in front of everyone.

4) Chessman vs. Mesias

-First Fall: Early suicide dive by Mesias on Chessman. Mesias grabs a ladder to attack Chessman. Mesias is tossed into the ladder by Chessman. Mesias hits a Facebuster on Chessman into the ladder, but only a two count is made. Huge Spinning DDT by Mesias for another near fall. The battle transfers to the crowd, as both men have a nasty brawl. Chessman is now using chairs to attack the foot of Mesias. Chessman is caught in mid-air with a Cutter from Mesias. Chessman snaps and attacks the referee, and this causes the DQ.

Winner: Mesias

-Aftermath: Chessman tapes the arms of Mesias to the ropes, and showers him with gasoline. Chessman grabs a torch to burn Mesias, but the Family attacks him. Cibernetico comes to the rescue and cleans house with Chessman and the Family. Now the Psycho Circus get involved to defend Chessman.

*Pretaped Segment: Cibernetico is tired of Chesman, and will not explain why he is defending Mesias. Cibernetico says he hasn't unleashed his full potentail, but if Chessman wants him to, then Ciber will send him back to the shadows he came from. Ciber also addresses Manson, and he's very pissed off because he cannot communicate with Manson. Cibernetico says the Hell Brothers are officially dead, and from now on is every man for himself. If Manson also wants to deal with Ciber, they he will be punished as well.

5) Zorro vs. Cibernetico

-First Fall: If you've seen the matches between these two gentlemen, then you will see nothing new. Zorro targets the right leg of Cibernetico with multiple submission holds and kicks. Sleeper Hold by Zorro, but Ciber refuses to give up. Ciber makes the comeback with a series of clotheslines and a Spear. Ciber tries to finish the match, but the Legion arrives to the ring. Zorro capitalizes to attack Ciber with the kendo stick. Zorro grabs the mic, and wants Konnan to keep his word. Zorro doesn't want any help from the Legion, and Konnan leaves with the crew. Zorro fouls Cibernetico, and the referee is apparently blind. Zorro tries to finish the match, but now Chessman arrives to the ring. Zorro grabd the mic again, and tells Chessman that if he didn't accept help from his own group, the why would he accept help from a traitor like him. Zorro turns around, and CiberChokeslam!!

Winner: Cibernetico

-Aftermath: Chessman enters the ring to attack Ciber, but Manson's music hits the arena. Manson says it is now time to choose the path he wants to take. Manson says he will join: himself. Manson didn't say that, but he did his taunts, which can obviosly mean Manson is on his own now.

FINAL COMMENTS: Overall, a regular show. Notice that the show is not three hours long anymore, which is better. I really don't like the angle with Konnan and the ashes. It is pretty much as disrespectful as the angle that WWE did with the death of Eddie Guerrero. Hopefully Dave Meltser considers this feud for the Most Disgusting Promotional Tactic for the 2008 WON awards. I also thought the A.P. Memorial show would be an "angle-free" show, but we all know how the show will be booked. I don't want to talk about the jump of Alex Koslov, because I will end up using the same words that I used for Grey Shadow last week.
