The show starts with a video package to hype the upcoming show. Mini Charlie Manson is the champion of the division, and he will be in action. The second edition of the Antonio Pena Memorial Tournament takes place as well. But the main attraction the "position vs. career" match, between Konnan's team and Roldan's team. But the show's main goal is to remember Antonio Pena (really?).

*A short video dedicated to Antonio Pena is shown.

1) Mini Charlie Manson, Octagoncito & Mascarita Divina vs. Mini Histeria, Mini Chessman & Mascarita de la Muerte

-First Fall: Octagoncito uses aerial moves to take down his opponents. Divina also uses aerial moves, but he is attacked by Chessman. Manson tags in, and use power based moves  with some flying moves to attack the rudos. The heels snap and they start the triple team attack. *Noti AAA:
-Laredo Kid is returning soon, after being on the sidelines since TM 16.
-Latin Lover returns, to stop Konnan. Probably, this is a Part-time return.
-There are rumors that Waltman will include a wreslter from Europe into his D-MEX stable (I'm glad is not another CMLL guy).

*Pretaped Segment: Jack Evans is peacefully smoking, and Waltman pops up. Evans is mad about the things waltman has done to the Legion, but Waltman tries to explain. He says anybody who follows Konnan won't end up good. Waltman even compares Konnan to Hitler, and says Konnan taking control is not good. Waltman says he also wants to smoke, as long as Evans is not smoking the ashes.

*In-Ring Segment: Joaquin Roldan is in the ring, and says this event was meant to celebrate Antonio Pena and his legacy. His body may be gone, but his spirit remains with AAA. Konnan interrupts, and bows to become the new GM of AAA. Konnan says Antonio Pena is with him, and not with AAA. Konnan says he will fire Roldan and his production team.

3) "Position vs. Retirement" Steel Cage match
Team Konnan (Konnan, Kenzo Suzuki, Electroshock & Rellik) vs. Team Roldan (La Parka, Octagon, Superfly & Latin Lover)

-First Fall: A complete brawl is taking place inside the cage. Octagon is the first one to escape the cage. Kenzo threatens to fly, but he escapes the cage instead. Teddy tosses a steel chair into the cage, and the heels use it to attack the tecnicos. Fly is brutalized by Electro again. Latin escapes the cage, followed by Electro. Latin returns to the cage to help the weakened Fly. Latin and Parka strike, while fly abandons the cage. Konnan is bleeding buckets, and Rellik leaves him alone in the cage. Parka leaves the cage, but Latin is stopped by Konnan. Latin delivers a huge chairshot on Konnan, and starts climbing the cage. Sergio Mayer (a famous Mexican celebrity) also climbs the cage to throw a beverage into Latin's face. Latin lands inside the cage again, and Konnan fouls him. Konnan climbs the cage, and this is the beginning of a new era.

Winners: Team Konnan

-Aftermath: The tecnicos try to attack Mayer, but the heels come to the rescue. Cibernetico arrives, and says his contract is exclusive to the Roldan-Pena family. Since Konnan is now the new manager of AAA, Cibernetico QUITS THE COMPANY, AND VACATES THE WORLD TITLE!!! Konnan celevrates one of the biggest victories in his career.

FINAL COMMENTS: Overall, a regular show. Last year, this event was so special, and it was very enjoyable. This second edition simply worked to put the angles over, and celebrating Antonio Pena wasn't the main goal. The minis match was OK. About the tournament, it was a complete joke. Having Pirata beat Aerostar was already ridiculous (putting a veteran over a fresh and young guy). But having Mesias beat six guys was a huge slap in the face for me. I could have accepted three or even four, but six guys was more than enough. I'm not against Mesias, but against the person who booked this thing. Konnan taking over was more predictable than the elections. I believe WWE programming getting into network televison in Mexico, really forced AAA to change many things, to compete in the ratings with them. Next week, is the second part of the show.
