TNA Final Resolution feedback

Best Match: Feast or Fired (Never thought I'd write that)
Worst Match: Main Event

Nothing was awful, nothing was great. This really was the definition of an average, middle-of-the road PPV. It's end of the year, it's called 'Final Resolution', but how many issues were resolved? Why bother having loose themes for PPV's when they mean nothing. At least have the names be good in the first place.

I think what TNA can learn from this PPV is that even when Alex Shelley (who just a month or so ago was part of the most over babyface team in TNA) is repeatedly humiliated, he still shines like a beacon. He honestly is the best thing in the company for me. His little smart ass comments at Cornette & Foley were my personal highlights (other than the obvious Velvet Sky ones).

Also, Joe, whether lightly forearmed in the balls by the red PVC pants clad, grey-haired wizard or not, got jobbed out again, and is just such a loser now. He couldn't be more far removed from his ROH character. What a shame.

Lastly...Al Snow? Really?

Other than that I think you said it all in your quick live coverage Dave. I wouldn't reccommend anyone bother going out of their way to catch any replays of this.

TNA Final Resolution

Thumbs Up

Best Match: MEM vs Front Line

Worst Match: Kong v Hemme

Even though Christy Hemme really wants the Knockouts title, she is not the ring general that Gail Kim was. Then again, nobody in the TNA ladies locker room really is.

So Vince Russo turned AJ Styles into a comedy figure who couldn't draw a dime for two years but now Styles is the babyface superman who will save the promotion after they destroyed Samoa Joe's aura? And they continue to let this guy run the booking of the promotion? I guess a 1.2 rating is better than a PPV that draws 10,000 buys.

Kevin Nash showing he's the smartest man in wrestling by being a victor in another main event. I wouldn't be surprised if he comes down with a leg injury in two months and becomes the MEM outside enforcer, so he won't have to lose another match via pinfall in the feud, let alone put over Joe 1-2-3.

Two big thumbs down.

Horrible PPV. Thank goodness it was 40 cent wing night at the old BDubs.

Best match: None. I would have voted for Angle vs. Rhino if Al Snow wasn't brought in to satisfy a 9 year old beef with fat ass over the hill stunt moneky Mick Foley. That will put butts in the seats. Honorable mention goes to the emo's sitting behind me arguing over who has the deepest cuts on their arms. I wish I were making this up. I also wish my lawn was emo so it would cut itself. Anyways...

Worst match: The whole card sucked but if I had to pick one I think it would be the battle royal. What a stupid concept. Why would anyone grab a case if they can get fired? Maybe they want to get fired. That would make sense.

I don't get TNA. This whole MEM thing is just another excuse to put over the old and broken and keep the guys they should be pushing down. You just know old man Nash and his fragile little knees is whispering in the ears of Russo that AJ is too small to wear the title. Nash is too old to be taken seriously. The dude was at my gym this past summer and could barely incline bench 185lbs. He barely got it up for 6. He's become a huge pussy and putting him over anyone is a joke.

I find myself watching it for the sole purpsose of finding out how far I can roll my eyes into the back of my head. What kinds of buy rates does this shit get? Do you know? I can't imagine anyone actually paying to see this company. You know the show sucked when it only earns 8 pages over on Wrestlecrap. Those kids pile up 20+ talking about what anime cartoon they would like to fuck. Not a good sign for TNA when cartoon sex draws more attention that your show to the kiddies.

Anyways have a good and safe holiday's Dave!
