We're looking for your thoughts on Saturday night's UFC 94 PPV, so you can leave a thumbs up, thumbs down or thumbs in the middle along with a best and worst match to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

We're looking for live reports from St. Louis tonight with the ECW tapings before Raw, as well as any dark matches, or anything else notable that wouldn't be airing the TV portion of tonight's Raw.  The only thing announced is that the final participant in the Raw Elimination Chamber match will be decided.  A key to tonight's show is what they will do with Orton to keep him from being cheered with the show in St. Louis.  Two matches announced are Rey Mysterio & Kofi Kingston vs. Mike Knox & Kane and Beth Phoenix vs. Candice Michelle.

We're also looking for reports on weekend WWE house shows in Hammond and Dothan on Saturday night and Cape Girardeau and Huntsville from last night, as well as tonight's Smackdown house show in Tupelo.

An update on the road to Wrestlemania with the latest ideas, where it can go, and changes in directions coming out of the Royal Rumble as well as coverage of the show are among the lead items in Monday's issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.  The issue is already available to web site subscribers, as is our biggest issue of the year, the 2008 awards issue, which came out this past week.

Besides full coverage of the Rumble, the Affliction show, WEC and TNA's biggest house show in its history in London, we also have a feature on St. Pierre vs. Penn, complete business rundown from Saturday night with UFC on television with a taped Lesnar vs. Couture match, Affliction on PPV and Margarito vs. Mosely on HBO.  We also look at an amazing mark set by Lesnar vs. Couture, and Jerry Millen's youtube showing a text exchange with Dana White.  We also have poll results from the major events this weekend.

We look at the future of Affliction, the amount they spent on the show as well as match-by-match coverage.  We also have an update of UFC's attempt to get into New York state and what change is being talked about that may legalize MMA, and may at the same time keep UFC from coming in.

We also have more on the Smackdown record from this past week, how St. Pierre vs. Penn's Countdown shows have done, as well as monthly breakdowns in TNA & WWE business covering house shows, TV ratings and PPV to see what is up, what is down, and what legitimate effect the economy may be having on pro wrestling.  The feature shows a major change in fan habits that will not be reflected on the next WWE financial report and the reasons why.  We also look at the real situation with ratings and the result of moving to MyNetwork TV.

We also have even more about WWE financial cutbacks that haven't been reported, as well as lots of news regarding the 2009 Hall of Fame ceremony including names confirmed in, names talked about and Ric Flair's role as well as more on Wrestlemania.

We also look at the controversy regarding Linda McMahon being nominated for the Connecticut Board of Education and updates on PPV in 2009, as well as an update on videogame sales.

We've got our usual weekly features with results from the major league arena events held around the world, and major TV show reports.

--Mike Knox was added to the Raw Elimination chamber match along with John Cena, Rey Mysterio, Kofi Kingston and Chris Jericho.  The final entrant will be added tonight.

--An update on the Vaseline scandal involving Georges St. Pierre and his corner from Saturday night's match.  As of press time, B.J. Penn's camp had not filed a complaint with the Nevada State Athletic Commission.  According to Keith Kizer, Executive Director of the Nevada State Athletic Commission, what happened was one of the commission inspectors saw Phil Nurse, as he rubbed Vaseline on St. Pierre's face after the first round, touch his back without wiping the Vaseline off.  Several commissioners were aware as the second round went on, and were watching closely after the second round, where they saw a person they identified as Greg Jackson (most stories say it was Nurse again), do the same thing.  If was between rounds two and three that the commotion took place with the commission reacting immediately and they wiped off St. Pierre's back.  They also wiped off St. Pierre's back again after round three.  Penn himself told an inspector on his side of the ring after round two that he thought St. Pierre was greased.  Kizer said both Lorenzo Fertitta and Dana White after the match and questioned whether Nurse or Jackson should ever be allowed to corner again.  White, who saw the incident between rounds two and three and was also alerted to the round one incident at some point in round two, said that he thought the guy (s) who did it, without mentioning any names, should be banned by the athletic commission from every cornering again.  Kizer said it was not gobs of Vaseline on St. Pierre's back, but the back was touched after the Vaseline was rubbed on his face, and before the hands were wiped clean with a towel.  Jackson told MMAweekly.com yesterday saying Nurse was doing a ritual  taught to him by a "witch doctor" named Steven Friend, who has worked with St. Pierre for years.  "We told our side of the story, we said we didn't mean to put any grease anywhere," said Jackson.  "If we were trying to grease the back,we'd be greasing up and down.  We would make it count.  We wouldn't do a little tiny spot in the back.  The whole thing doesn't make any sense, so they were fine with it once we gave our explanation."
