AAA TV report

AAA on Galavision
By: Xavier Hernandez
Show aired on: 02/28/2009

Show opens with the usual summary of last week's show. Konnan reportedly has financial problems, but he denies it with the support of Arturo Rivera. Guapito has serious issues with his partner El Brazo. The feud between Abismo and Abyss continue. The Hermandad continues to chase Mesias, but he's a hard target. Now, Konnan will try to reclute Chessman into his stable. Plus, another epic main event, and Chessman meets Ozz in singles action.

*Pretaped Segment: The Hart Foundation argues about who they should support, if either Konnan or Zorro. Teddy suggests that bthey should find Zorro and talk to him, before Zorro goes and tell everything to Konnan. Evans says how should they deal with a crazy man, but Teddy just says to find him before Konnan does.

1) Aerostar, Gato Eveready & Argenis vs. Poder del Norte (Tigre Cota, Tito Santana & Rio Bravo)

-Only Fall: Aero and Bravo open the match with by pushing each other. The rest begin to tag in with aerial moves for spectacular visuals. The heels snap and they start the triple team attack on the tecnicos. Tito and Cota hit Bravo, and the tecnicos make the comeback. Bravo tosses Gato out of the ring, but he uses this to hit a Corskcrew Crossbody on Cota. Bravo lands outside, and Aero hits the Springboard Comet. Tito also lands outside, and Argenis connects with a dangerous Springboard Hilo. In the ring, Gato pins Cota with the Blockbuster.

Winners: Aerostar, Gato Eveready & Argenis

-Aftermath: Konnan gets inside the ring, and insults the crowd. Since Konnan cannot fire anyone, because Vampiro can overrule his decisions, the wrestlers that he dislikes will have to pay a price. Konnan tells the tecnicos he will not be the one to charge, but the next two guys will charge them "187". This brings the Hermandad to destroy the tecnicos with chairs. Konnan says the same thing could happen to Roldan and Vampiro if they keep messing with Konnan and the Legion.

*Pretaped Segment: Brazo talks with his partners, and says Guapito is a liar, because after he apologized, Guapito cost him a second match. Brazo hates lies, and swears he will never forgive Guapito. Escorpion also addresses Alebrije, and says they will finish anyone who supports Guapito. Decnnis says they also need to finish Pimpinela along with Guapito. Brazo not only hates fat people, but he also hates midgets. Somewhere else, Guapito wants to make a deal with Elegido. Guapito wants Elegido to destroy Brazo, and in exchange Guapito will award him with material things. Elegido says that is a good temptation, but he won't fall to Guapito's dirty business. Elegido may protect Guapito from Brazo, but he won't make a deal with him. Guapito begs Elegido to reconsider.

2) Metrosexuales (El Brazo, Decnnis & Escorpion Negro) w/Guapito vs. El Elegido, Pimpinela Escarlata & Alebrije (w/Cuije)

-Only Fall: Obviously, the Metros begin the double team, and Guapito is still supporting them. The tecnicos make a slow comeback, with a variety of moves, such as Armdrags and Backbreakers. The tecnicos try to pin the rudos simultaneously, but they all kick out.The tecnicos actually lock the Estrella Leglock on everyone. Cuije and Guapito break the hold. Escorpion is catapulted outside, and both Cuije and Alebrije hit suicide dives on him. Guapito headbutts Brazo again in the sensible zone, and Elegido rolls him for the three count.

Winners: El Elegido, Pimpinela Escarlata & Alebrije

-Aftermath: The Metros attack Guapito after the match, and Cuije helps him out. The tecnicos return to rescue the little men. Cuije wants Guapito to join the celebration, but apparently the tecnicos still don't trust him.

*Noti AAA:
-The AAA wrestlers performed at a popular bar in Mexico City (unusual place, since AAA performs in big places).
-Jesus Zuniga interviews the president Marisela Pena. She says that Konnan has many financial problems with the company. Reportedly, Konnan has been stealing money from the budget, but they can't prove it, so she wants Konnan to be a man and accepts his mistakes. Marisela claims that Konnan has been ignoring her calls, and if he doesn't show up in the next few days, then Konnan is fired from the company. Marisela says she's the president of the company, and she's not affraid of any threat from Konnan. She just wants to talk to him to solve the problems within the company.
-Zuniga now interviews Konnan via phone. He says that both Marisela and Roldan are planning something to ruin the Legion and Konnan. But the problem with him is that the financial problems already existed before he became the general manager, and they're trying to put the blame on him. Konnan denies everything, and he can sue the Roldans for false accusations against him. Konnan also assures that Super Crazy will come to the company and join the Legion. Zuniga afirms that Crazy will join AAA, but Konnan denies this too. Konnan says he doesn't have to answers Marisela's calls, because the company has improved under his control, and the Roldans are jealous of this. If Marisela wants to talk, then she must go to Konnan's offices.
-Charlie Manson will return to AAA very soon (this one's to clarify that he has not abandoned the company, like some sources said)
-KENTA will return for another match, teaming with Extreme Tiger once again.

*Pretaped Segment: Konnan found Zorro first and wants to talk about something else. The Foundation also wants to talk, but Konnan says he talks to Zorro first. Konnan says he wants Zorro to be mentally stable, but Zorro denies he's not crazy. Konnan knows that, because Zorro actually informed him about what Teddy said last week. Teddy says it was Zorro's idea, but Konnan says Zorro simply told him that Teddy and company just wanted an explanation of the money loss. Konnan says that's why he hired the Hermandad to help them generate money. Now Konnan wants to know what was Zorro's idea, and Teddy says Zorro is crazy. Zorro denies this one more time.

3) Real Fuerza Aerea (Laredo Kid, SuperFly & El Angel) vs. Electroshock, Jack Evans & Teddy Hart (w/Nikki)

-Only Fall: Laredo and Evans open with nice aerial moves. Teddu tags in, and delivers the Hartbreaker on Laredo. Angel tags in, but he falls victim of Teddy's technical moves. Fly and Electro revive their fued momentarily. The tecnicos start an usual triple team attack on the rudos. Laredo and Angel try to suplex Electro, but Electro suplexes them both. Fly tosses with out of the ring with a Hurricanrana. Evans hits his Cartwheel Senton on Laredo, and Teddy connects with a Sitdown Moonsault on Angel. Electro kicks out of the Hurricanrana by Fly. Fly now tries a Frankensteiner, but the Harts help Electro deliver a devastating top rope Powerbomb on Fly for the pin.

Winners: Electroshock, Jack Evans & Teddy Hart

*Pretaped Segment: Chessman says he's pissed off at Roldan, because he sent Vampiro to remove the belts from the clowns. He tells Vampiro that he won't take the belt from his waist, and says Konnan belogns in a trash can, because he is trash. Chessman bows he will defeat Ozz, because is simply "Chessman". On the other hand, Ozz tells Chessman he 's better than him. Ozz says he and his friends lost his belts unfairly, but he's sure Vampiro will make justice. Ozz says he will show Chessman who's the better man.

4) Chessman vs. Dark Ozz

Prematch Comments: Vampiro hits the ring, to address Chessman. Vampiro says Chessman that he has authority and rules, so that's why Vampiro takes the belt off Chessman. The announcers ask why did Vampiro removed the belt, and he simply says that he did it to teach Chessman a lesson.

-Only Fall: Early Corkscrew maneuvers by Ozz on Chessman. Ozz continues the assault with hard European Uppercuts and a Spinning Heel Kick. Satnding Moonsault by Ozz, but Chessman kicks out again. Chessman makes the comeback with power moves, such as a Backbreaker and a Super Kick. Chessman connects Ozz with a Spear, and tries the a botched 450 Splash to pin him.

Winner: Chessman

-Aftermath: Konnan arrives to tell Chessman that since they have the same enemies, and since Chessman is so talented, Konnan wants Chessman to join the Legion. Chessman simply moves his index finger with a negative way. Konnan says rejection has a price, and the Hermandad arrives, but so does Vampiro. The commisioner says nobody wants to see Konnan, and his only role is to manage the company, but not to do dirty business. Konnan says jealousy has corrupted Vampiro, and this fires the canadian.Chessman gives Vampiro a Spinebuster, and says he's simply "Chessman". Konnan welcomes Chessman to the Legion, but Chessman still refuses to join. Konnan tells an unconscious Vampiro, that Roldan and his friends will end up the same way.

*Pretaped Segment: Alan talks to his partners, and says he's a calmed guy, but he's simply tired of Konnan's actions. Abismo also says he's tired of Abyss, and bows he will destroy the Legion, because they are the AAArmy.

5) Konnan, Zorro & Black Abyss vs. Alan Stone, Gronda & Abismo Negro

-Only Fall: Guess what, two TV main events in the same night, with the exact same formula. Abyss takes Abismo to the crowd, while Konnan and Zorro use brutal strikes on the tecnicos. The comeback finally occurs, and the tecnicos are back on track. Abyss hits the Tombstone Piledriver on Abismo, and the referee immediately awards the DQ (For those of you who don't know, the move is forbidden in every single arena in Mexico)

Winners (DQ): Alan Stone, Gronda & Abismo Negro

*Promo Video: This one hypes Mesias, and how he has become indestructible over the past few weeks. Nothing new.

6) Mesias, La Parka & Silver King vs. Kenzo Suzuki, Joe Lider & Nicho El Millonario

-Only Fall: The exact same match from last week, with the exception of Kenzo Suzuki., but this is the same formula again. Rudos ambush the tecicos, then the comeback begins, Parka kicks out of Kenzo's Brainbuster, Parka rols Kenzo, and the three count is made.

Winners: Mesias, La Parka & Silver King

-Aftermath: The heels snao, and they attack the tecncios again. The Hernandad brings a table, but Chessman joins the party, only to crush Mesias through the table.

FINAL COMMENTS: Once again, I apologize for the delay. It's just getting harder for me to do reports, but I'll keep doing them as long as I have available time. I didn't like the fact that the last two matches were your typical TV main events with the same washed up formula, even though the last match was quite entertaining, but yet repetitive nonetheless. I'm still mad that Aerostar is not pushed properly ye, because this guy is just incredible. He has the most innovating moveset in the entire Mexican deck, and it's not fair that he continues to be underrated.
