Thumbs up

Best fight: Kampmann-Condit

Worst fight: Bader-Marrero

KO of the Night: n/a

Sub of the Night: Cole Miller

It was a great pleasure to watch Cole Miller shut Browning up. 'Who's overrated now' was gravy on top. Mismatch but I'll take it. Griffin-Dos Anjos was very good and that lateral STF Dos Anjos got was sick---nobody but himself to blame for not capitalizing on it. Bader is starting to show some versatility but he's gonna have to show a lot more, and better, to avoid getting tagged as boring. He outwrestled Marrero easily and didn't L&P really, stayed active, but it still wasn't much fun to watch. Still gonna be difficult to beat for most fighters. Kampmann-Condit was excellent, especially the first two rounds (both of which I scored 10-10 even) and showed that Condit will not be moving directly into the top rank at 170 in UFC. Mostly entertaining show overall.

Crimson Mask

God, that was a great main event last night and they should rematch it on PPV.  Not a
match of the year candidate, but a half-step down.

Anyway, with all the love and respect given to "Mask" last night, what are the chances he
would be inducted into the UFC HOF?  He should definitely be into an MMA HOF for all he's
accomplished for the sport, all the fighters they helped.  (Unless I'm just a mark buying
into the hype, which is possible I suppose).

It might be tricky politically to put an advertiser in the HOF, but considering how he
seemed to be universally loved and respected, it may be a cakewalk.

I give UFC Fight Night 18 a thumbs up.
Best match: Condit vs Kampmann  and Griffin vs. Dos Anjos were both really good matches with close decisions.  I would have given the second match to Dos Anjos 29-28, I could even see Griffin 29-28, but I don't understand how he won a unanimous decision.  But then again, I'm not a judge.  I thought the Condit/Kampmann decision was closer and could have easily gone either way.   Both good fights.   Bader came across as a much more serious of a fighter than he did on TUF.  It sucks that on a 12 fight card we only get to see the last 4 fights.
