Summary of last week's show (which by the way was a Triplemania previw): Hype for every major match in the Triplemania card. Joaquin Roldan revealed two of the five men in his team: Octagon and La Parka. Konnan revealed two of his men: Kenzo Suzuki, and Silver King. For this show, another epic six-man tag match, Dr. Wagner Jr. in action, and Joaquin Roldan will reveal the third man in his team. Can you guess who it it? (Can't believe they spoiled this right away, instead of waiting at the end of the show).
1) Billy Boy, El Brazo & Decnnis (w/Guapito) vs. Pimpinela Escarlata, Gato Eveready & Argenis
-Only Fall: As usual, the heels start the triple team assault right away. Pimpi begins the comeback by blocking Guapito's attack with his rear end. Billy is kicked out of the ring, and Argenis takes him out with a clean Hilo. Brazo accidentally tosses Decnnis out, and Gato finishes him with a Corkscrew Plancha. Pimpi also takes Brazo out with a Flying Armdrag off the apron. In the ring, Billy hits a Slingshot Elbow, but Argneis kicks out. Moonsault by Argenis on Billy, but Guapito distracts the referee. Argenis gets Billy into a Sunset Flip, but Guapito dropkicks him, and Billy takes the pinfall.
Winners: Billy Boy, El Brazo & Decnnis
*In-Ring Segment: Konnan in the ring once again, and says he will never leave the country, because he loves it. Konnan talks about the cage match at Triplemania. He tells Marisela Pena that if he takes over the company, he will let her become his secretary. Konnan demands to see the third man of Joaquin Roldan's team by the end of the show. Konnan closes by saying that he is like diamonds, he will shine forever. Nice line.Backstage, Gato is pissed off, but not because the loss, but because of Pimpinela who always gets in his way. Pimpi comes crying because he only wants to protect Gato with his love. Pimpi now gooes with Argenis, and he calls Gato back to get Pimpi off his chest.
*Noti AAA [Contains Spoilers]:
-Joaquin Roldan reveals the third man in his team: El Hijo del Santo. The son of the greatest luchador of all time joins the team of Roldan.
-The feud between the Hermandad and Latin & Marco will be dragged all the way to Triplemania, where the tecnicos will challenge for the tag titles.
-Zorro is supposedly receiving professional help, and says the mask he wore before gave him more success than now.
-Alex Koslov won the Cruiserweight championship, and says he is happy to be champion. He thanks everyone
-Note of mine, this segment was crap, since they spoiled the Cruiserweight tournament, for those who don't keep track of AAA tapings.
2) Cruiswerweight Tournament - Semifinal 2
Laredo Kid vs. Alan Stone
Prematch Comments: Laredo says he is the most aerial wrestler, and he's willing to beat anyone for the title. Superfly interrupts him, to apologize for his recent attitude, but he only wanted the best for the stable. Superfly makes fun of Laredo, because he is still in the undercard, while Fly competes in main event matches. Fly hasn't changed at all.
-Only Fall: Whiy cover this when we know Koslov is the champ? Heavily edited match, and Laredo is already doing an Asai Moonsault on Alan. Back in the ring, Laredo uses several strikes. Dragon Splash by Laredo, but Alan dodges it. Alan gets Laredo into a Victory Roll, but Laredo kicks out. German Suplex, but Laredo kicks out again. Huge Spinebuster by Laredo, and then goes for the 450 Splash, but Alan kicks out at two and a half. Tons of near falls from both men. Alan goes for another Victory Roll, but this time Laredo cannot kick out.
Winner: Alan Stone
3) Cruiserweight Tournament - Semifinal 3
Alex Koslov vs. Nicho El Millonario
Prematch Comments: Koslov reminds the people that he came to the company as part of D-Generation MEX, and he always competed in a team. But now, he competes in singles action, and he can create more impact in that way. Koslov recognizes the career of Nicho, but Koslov is just starting, and believes youth can beat experience. Koslov says in Russian he will become champion. Nicho tells the dancers Latin and Corleone that their job will be finished at Triplemania.Nicho also tells Koslov he will 187 him.
-Only Fall: Nicho kicks off with heavy strikes, a Bulldog, and an Elevated Neckbreaker. Koslov poses and hits a huge Overhead Suplex on Nicho. Koslov locks the Russian Crossface, but Nicho reahces the bottom rope. Nicho lands outside, and Koslov hits a beautiful Hilo over the top rope. Springboard Elbow by Koslov, but Nicho kicks out. Nicho puts Koslov in the tree of woe, and dropkicks him. Nicho now hits a Reverse DDT on Koslov in the apron. Nicho sets two chairs at ringside, and sits Koslov. Nicho hits a Corkscrew Crossbody, but Koslov moves, and Nicho lands in the chairs. Koslov goes for a Frankensteiner, but Nicho counters into a Powerbomb, but Koslov kicks out. Koslov pays him back with a Powerbomb as well, but Nicho also kicks out at two. Nicho goes outside, and Koslov reaches him with a Diving Plancha. Nicho accidentally takes out the referee, and Koslov locks the Crossface again. Nicho submits, but the referee is down (this is so WWEish). Nicho hits a Reverse STO on Koslov, and goes for another chair. Koslov counters with a huge Enzuigiri, but the referee is still down. Corleone comes to distract Nicho, and Koslov delivers a chair dropkick. Referee wakes up to make the three count. Great match, except the ending.
Winner: Alex Koslov
-Aftermath : Backstage Corleone wishes Koslov good luck. Koslov tells Corleone he never asked for his help, if he has issues with La Hermandad he should have waited after the match. But Koslov thanks Marco anyway.
4) Cruiswerweight Tournament - Semifinal 1 (Rematch)
Jack Evans vs. Extreme Tiger
Prematch Comments: Evans still can't believe he has to face Tiger again, but he is thankfull for Konnan giving him a rematch. Both Teddy and Jack wish to see Nicho in the finals, to finish their issues. Teddy wants to be in his corner, but Jack doesn't want any help. He wants to do the match on his own. Teddy just wants to guarantee victory for Jack, but he only wants to win fair. Tiger says he was the true winner, and this time he will prove it.
-Only Fall: Huge dropkick by Tiger, followed by a Legsplit Moonsault. Evans replies with tons of kicks. Northern Lights Suplex by Tiger, but Evans kicks out. Springboard Spinning Kick by Evans, but Tiger kicks out. Evans his kicked out of the ring, and Teddy arrives to attack Tiger. Evans tells Teddy to leave because he doesn't want help. Tiger sits Evans in two chairs, and then hits a Swanton Bomb. The referee tries to help Evans, but he refuses any kind of help. Teddy returns to the ring, but this time to attack Evans with the Corkscrew Elbow. Tiger capilalizes to pin Evans with a Winged DDT.
Winner: Extreme Tiger
-Aftermath: The entire Legion arrives to stop Teddy from attacking Evans. Konnan wants both men to shake hands, but Teddy refuses. Konnan kicks Teddy out of the Legion, and demands to have Evans raised in shoulders. However, Scoria dropkicks him, and the entire Legion attacks Evans. So Evans is the one is really kicked out of the Legion (this looked so WWEish). Evans is bleeding from the forehead, and the Legion continues the assault. The attack drags all the way to the parking lot, and Teddy gives Evans a Piledriver on a trash can.
*Pretaped Segment: Wagner cuts a promo, and says he is teaming with La Parka and the young Superfly. He also addresses Mesias, and says he should be more humble, and says Mesias just carries his belt around, instead of defending it. That's why Wagner came in, to challenge and to push Mesias to his real level, because Wagner is a real champion. Wagner says "IN MY HOUSE, AND WITH MY PEOPLE, YOU MUST RESPECT ME!". Parka says he is glad to be in Roldan's team, and the third man will shock everyone. Parka also says that despite his match with Wagner, he fully supports Mesias, for all the things he's done to earn the respect of everyone. Wagner is just an intruder in the eyes of Parka.
5) Dr. Wagner Jr., La Parka & Superfly vs. Black Family (Ozz, Cuervo & Scoria)
-Only Fall: Typical six man tag, bu the crowd is fully behind Wagner. Match starts with both team getting equal amount of ofense. The heels snap, and the triple team attack kicks off. The heels and Wagner bring a chips basket to the ring, to use it as a weapon. The heels lock La Carreta on Parka and Wagner. Fly breaks the holds with a Springboard Dropkick. The comeback begins, and the crowd is behind Wagner. Fky hits the Cartwheel Moonsault on Cuervo. Parka tosses Scoria with a clothesline. Back in the ring, Missile Dropkick by Ozz, but Wagner kicks out. Wagnerdriver on Ozz, and it's over.
Winners: Dr. Wagner Jr., La Parka & Superfly
*Pretaped Segment: Konnan tlaks to his guys backstage, and says what he did to Evans is a sign of discipline. Konnan puts Electroshock for Latin, since he beat him and the RdR tournament. Konnan sets Chessman for Mesias, since he never beat him fair and square. Konnan puts Kenzo Suzuki for Corleone, since they are former partners. On the other hand, Mesias cuts the same promo of always. He says that with the help of Latin and Corleone, the Legion will get the worst beating of their lives. Mesias also addresses Wagner, and claims he is facing the best wrestler in the company. Latin cuts a promo for the Hermandad, and says the what the Hermandad is doing with their 187 code is unfair. That's why Latin returned, to stop abusive people like them.
6) Mesias, Latin Lover & Marco Corleone vs. Chessman, Electroshock & Kenzo Suzuki
Prematch Comments: Wagner is joining the broadcasting table (this is so WWEish), and he says he's about to start a new style in commentary. So Rivera can shut up with his black humor.
-Only Fall: The commentary with Wagner is by far more entertaining that the match itself, and funnier how Wagner shuts Rivera up for his bad jokes. The match is as usual, nothing new. Mesias is being distracted by the presence of Wagner at the announcers table. Heels use the triple team attack, but the tecnicos make the comeback. Mesias hits a suicide dive on Electro, and Latin does a Crossbody on Kenzo. Corleone uses his Suicide Crossbody on Chessman. Nicho hits the ring to attack the Italian. The referee allows Electro to make it before the 20 count.
Winners (CO) : Chessman, Electroshock & Kenzo Suzuki
Aftermath: The entire Legion arrives to attack all the tecnicos, while Wagner sits comfortable in the announcing table. Konnan gets a mic, and wants to know who is the third man in the team of Roldan, so he wants him now. Roldan comes out to reveal the third man in his team......HIJO DEL SANTO!!
