Not a bad show but – then again – I had free tickets so that helps. :D
Sell-out crowd of 18,000+ at the Acer Arena. Crowd popped for everything and everyone, even Goldust in the opening bout.
Lots of kids – and lots of Triple H and Cena fans.
Biggest pops were for Randy Orton (big), John Cena (huge), Triple H (fucking massive).
Seamus (who no-one knew), The Miz and Regal did mic work. Yet Santino didn't. Strange.
Results:
1. Goldust b Chavo Guerrero (with help from Hornswoggle. Afterwards, Horny did his tadpole splash on Chavo)
2. Seamus b Jamie Noble
3. Santino b The Brian Kendrick (Santino was way over, but this was an obvious drinks break)
4. The Miz b MVP (MVP must really be in the doghouse to lose this one, I thought)
5. US Title: Kofi Kingston b William Regal (probably the best match of the night)
6. Legacy b Primo & Carlito (no hint of a split between the two brothers)
7. Barbie b Barbie (er...sorry, Kelly Kelly b Maryse. Horrible match, although KK executed a few nifty moves near the end that elevated it from worst match of the year status)
8. John Cena & Triple H b Big Show & Randy Orton when Trips pinned Show. Good main event
