Welcome to our live coverage of UFC 100 from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. We're looking for your thoughts on the show, so you can leave a thumbs up, thumbs down or thumbs in the middle along with a best and worst match to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. A lot of people here are down due to the death of Arturo Gatti. Gatti used to train at the UFC Gym so many in the company knew him. The listed pay for the main events has Frank Mir at $45,000+$45,000, Brock Lesnar at $400,000+0, Georges St. Pierre at $200,000+$200,000 and Thiago Alves at $60,000+60,000. Those likely aren't even a percentage of what the real numbers are going to wind up.

 Matt Grice vs. Shannon Gugerty

Gugerty with a takedown. He's got a guillotine, but more like a front facelock. Grice is back to his feet. Gugerty is going for a guillotine again and Grice is out cold and ref Herb Dean stopped it. Surprised to see Grice go down that easily.

C.B. Dollaway vs. Tom Lawlor Lawlor is facing C.B. "The Doberman "Dollaway and Lawlor looks to be the favorite for best ring entrance to "Who Let The Dogs Out" Lawlor did his 80s Hogan most muscular pose as well. Lawlor was in Deep South Wrestling but WWE passed on him a few years back, so he went into MMA.

Dollaway with a takedown and Lawlor grabbed a guillotine, and it was tight. Big upset here. Lawlor is going crazy. Dollaway tapped right as he went out. Two matches both similar. Dollaway is fjrious at himself. He can't believe it happened. This went :55

Lawlor said he's moving to heavyweight challenged Lesnar and Mir and then moving to 170 and challenging St. Pierre. Joe Rogan asked him if he practices that move a lot and he said "No." Lawlor will come off as a star if this gets on TV, which is probably will.

Dong Hyun Kim vs. T.J. Grant

Grant got a big pop since he's from Canada.  Both had advantage time during the round.  Very close round.  Grant's face doesn't look so hot after round one.  Kim won a close round 10-9.

High kick and punch by Kim and Grant right back.  Grant bulled Kim into the cage and trying for a single leg takedown.  Kim blocked it and grabbed a guillotine.  This doesn't look good because our guillotine prevention hasnt been much.  Grant got a huge pop for escaping the guillotine.  Somewhere Ole Anderson is smiling at how simple psychology works, except Ole isn't watching and can't understand why nobody is going for a hammerlock slam.   Kim now on top.  He had a hard elbow but Grant is mostly doing a good job defending.  Kim mostly keeping top position.  Grant nailed Kim with an up kick while Kim had his knees down and they deducted a point from Grant for the illegal kick.  With the point deduction it's a 10-8 round and 20-17 right now most likely.

Holly Madison isn't here in the ring girl position at this point.  Nor is Edith for those keeping ring girl score.  There are two empty chairs

A new rule is in effect.  If the fighter in the dominant position gets fouled, he can pick the position to restart.  So in the second round foul, Kim asked to start on their feet so they didn't start back on the ground where they left off.

Trading punches.  Grant did well until Kim delivered the judo hip toss.  Kim is doing some punching, mostly from a standing position and punching down and then going back into Grant's guard.    I've got it 30-26 for Kim.

All three judges have it 30-26 for Kim.

Gate will be the second biggest of all-time, in excess of $5 million and that's not including the closed circuit locations all over town.

Jonny "Bones" Jones vs. "Irish" Jake O'Brien

O'Brien tried a takedown and Jones stepped over and out.  Jones escaped another takedown attempt.  Jones throwing annoying kicks, now a good low kick.  Jones jabbing and conneced a few times with O'Brien's nose.  Good high kick by Jones.  Another good high kick by Jones.  Jones isn't doing any crazy moves this time.  Good body kick by Jones.  He did try a jumping kick late but it didn't come close.  Jones 10-9 in an uneventful round.

Jumping kick landed this time by Jones.  He consideredd a flying spin kick and then changed his mind.  High kick and a front kick by Jones.  High kick miseed.  All stand-up and Jones is the quicker of the two.  Crowd not too interested in the match.  Jones landed a high kick.  Jones landed a spinning back fist that popped the crowd.  Now using front kicks.  O'Brien trying a takedown but easy sprawl by and Jones used a no arm D'arce choke, called a guillotine, and O'Brien tapped.
