Welcome to our live coverage of the WWE's Hell in a Cell PPV from the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.  We're looking for you thoughts on tonight's show, so you can leave a thumbs up, thumbs down or thumbs in the middle along with a best and worst match to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

As noted in the morning update, there have been problems with the lines in this neighborhood so Internet is going in and out constantly.  We'll do as good as we can but coverage may shut down.  Bryan will update if anything is missing.

Matt Hardy b Mike Knox in the dark match with the twist of fate.  Nothing special.

A major thing going on is that, at least as of yesterday, the World title was to change hands and everyone is questioning that decision because Taker doesn't work a full schedule and the timing is all wrong.  Keep in mind that WWE changes finishes at the last minute all the time.

In fact, they've changed the order and that Undertaker vs. Punk in the Cell is the opener.  Normally when you put a World title early, it's a screw job with the heel going over so we shall see.

Not this time.  Undertaker won clean when he kicked a chair into Punk's face, then used a choke slam and a tombstone piledriver.  We'll have the story on this later tonight when we do our audio update.  Another short match and Undertaker was limping after doing a legdrop.  He's really having trouble just walking down the steps to leave the ring.  Match was fine, nothing special.  They called it as the first time a world title has ever changed hands in a Hell in a Cell match.

John Morrison vs. Dolph Ziggler for the IC title with no video feature building it up.

Morrison got the pin with a shining wizard and Starship pain after Ziggler didn't get the Zig Zag.  They wrestled a good match, but crowd wasn't into most of the match.  Tons of near falls at the end and there were even a real light "this is awesome" chant that didn't get up.

Mickie James vs. Alicia Fox for the Divas title

Fox missed an ax kick and James pinned her with a jumping DDT.  Crowd wasn't that much into it, but they had a solid match, better than most Divas matches.  Probably the best match I've seen Fox in.

Chris Jericho & Big Show vs. Batista & Rey Mysterio for tag titles

Best match so far in the show and probably as good as any match Jericho & Show have had since being champs.  Finish saw Mysterio hit the 619 on Show, and then went for a springboard move but Show punched Mysterio as he came off the ropes and got the pin.

John Cena vs. Randy Orton for WWE title in the second Hell in a Cell match

I guess that means DX gets the main event slot.  Good long match.  Orton kicked out of the Attitude Adjustment and Cena kicked out of the RKO.  The finish saw Orton tie Cena into the ropes and put him in a long chinlock, which was called that he choked him out.  When Cena was released from the ropes by the ref, Orton used the punt and got the pin.

Usually the punt means a few months out with an injury, but I think the story is that because Cena had worked on Orton's leg earlier that the leg had enough power to momentarily knock Cena out, but not injure him as they didn't have paramedics and Cena recovered in the ring.

R-Truth vs. Drew McIntyre

Good luck to these guys coming out after a title change in a Hell in a Cell two hours into the show.

McIntyre won clean with a double arm DDT.  Boring chants started 40 seconds in.  The crowd gave them no chance but they did nothing wrong.

They did a backstage segment with Orton, DiBiase and Rhodes.  The gist was DiBiase and Rhodes wanted to party with Orton after.  Orton said win or lose, you don't party after Hell in a Cell.  Orton warned them and they acted all cocky like they're going to win because they are younger, faster and stronger.  It ended with a confrontation between Orton and DiBiase as DiBiase said Orton underestimates them.

Kofi Kingston vs. The Miz vs. Jack Swagger

Another match with no heat.  Whoever chose the match order did a hell of a terrible job because if you looked at this order on paper you'd know these two matches would die, and they both did.  There was nothing wrong with this match but people didn't care at all.  Finish saw Swagger give Miz the doctor bomb, but Kingston then gave Swagger the Trouble in Paradise and Kingston pinned Miz to keep the title.  They've done a remarkable job over the past few months of getting Miz and Swagger less over by the week.

DX vs. Legacy in Hell in a Cell is the main event

Long story match.  First, Legacy destroyed DX early, destroying Michaels' knee and laying out HHH with a double DDT and Crossroads on the ramp.  With HHH done, they got in the cage and locked the door.  For 13:45 they destroyed Michaels, who had a few hope spots.  HHH recovered but couldn't get in the cage.  Michaels did a great job of selling.  HHH left and while Rhodes had Michaels in the figure four around the post, HHH came back with bolt cutters.  HHH made the big comeback, and hit DiBiase with the chain, and then gave him a pedigree on the floor.  They locked the cage to make it 2-on-1 on Rhodes.  Rhodes got destroyed and was pinned by Michaels after a simultaneous superkick and sledge hammer spot.  After the match, Michaels also gave DiBiase a superkick so both were left laying when it was over.

Rhodes went out on a stretcher after the show was over.
