Hi!  Loved the show tonight!  If they can upgrade their production
infrastructure this could be the promotion to beat, given the
economics of their situation - I hope so, 'cause they offer the
wrestling I like, and 2 solid hours of good to great ringwork for $20
is a much nicer deal than a 3 1/2 hour show with some good in-ring,
some bad, nothing given enough time, packaged with a bunch of stuff
ranging from the insulting to intelligence to the insulting to
humanity for $50

THUMBS UP, obviously

Best match: Shingo v Davey
Worst match: NONE - CIMA/Kendrick was clipped to hell, and the main
should've gone before the two top singles matches for pacing's sake,
but there was nothing bad on this show, wrestling-wise

Best Match: Bryan Danielson v. Naruki Doi
Worst Match: CIMA v. Brian Kendrick

Hi Dave
This was the best show I have seen since Gabe was fired from ROH. It is not just stiff action and crazy flips, it is the playing to the crowd and the cutting edge feel to the product. With this show DGUSA truly feels like its own promotion.
It is hard to pick between Danielson/Doi or Richards/Shingo, but I would go with Danielson/Doi as the finishing sequence was as good as anything I have seen in a long time and they seemed like they must have been having the time of their lives working together.
Richards and Shingo was great, and builds Davey well to hopefully win the tournament at the next show.
I enjoyed both tag matches a lot as well as Dragon Kid and Yoshino. I had read the results before but forgot them and thought it was great to see Kid win as "logic" would tell you that Yoshino would win to build to the rubber match, almost like the second fall of a 2/3 match.
Although CIMA and Kendrick's match was not as great as the others on this show, I felt it fit in well as it was short.
I hear people complain that there is no good wrestling, that things are too scripted and there is not enough emphasis on good matches and psychology. I've made these complaints. But it's time to put your money where your mouth is and support this product. Otherwise, it will seem like all you want is guest hosts and lectures from Dixie.
