We're also looking for reports from the Raw show in Lyon, France (two shows), Smackdown in Hamburg, Germany, Smackdown in Dublin, Ireland, and Smackdown in Belfast, Northern Ireland, plus TNA in Wayne, NJ tonight and Scranton, PA tomorrow. The UFC show from Manchester, which we have results for on the front page right now, airs for free tonight on Spike TV.
-- James Malec, 48, will serve at least six-and-a-half and as many as 15 years in prison over the shooting death of Justin Eilers, 30, last Christmas. Eilers, who had fought in a number of promotions including EliteXC and WEC, was shot to death during a family disturbance on December 25th, 2008. Malec claimed he shot the fighter in self-defense, but the jury threw that out. -- We have UFC in Manchester results on the front page right now. The show airs free tonight on Spike TV, so check your local listings. -- For those in Canada, Neal writes: I noticed in the front-page update that you guys said UFC 105 airs live in Canada on Sportsnet. Sportsnet is actually kind of similar to Fox Sports in the US where there are regional stations, and only Sportsnet East and Sportsnet Ontario will be airing UFC 105 live in the afternoon. It will air on delay at 8 local time on all the Sportsnet stations. -- Tonight is also Miguel Cotto vs. Manny Pacquiao, which Mike Sempervive expects to do 1.5 million buys. -- The post-WrestleMania Smackdown is going to be in Las Vegas at the Thomas & Mack Centre. The article mentions Big Daddy and includes a photo of Big Daddy.
