The story's main focus is that the White House and Congress dropped the ball on the 2007-08 investigation of steroid use in pro wrestling, and that is a lucky break for Linda McMahon. They noted that if the Office of National Drug Control Policy had followed up, as asked to by Rep. Henry Waxman, who did interviews with several WWE and TNA officials, it would have posed problems for her campaign. Quite frankly, if there was a major investigation going on, I doubt she'd have run. The story noted that nobody since has pursued the matter. Based on what I've seen of the story in a few different places, but not the entire story, it's no new information, but quotes from people noting how McMahon was lucky the investigation was dropped. But this story itself is not going to change the campaign. --Maria Kanellis was on Sirius radio last night talking about her release, using the term, when the bad relationship is over, you move on.
