By Bryan Alvarez This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it We've got PWG results from night one and two elsewhere on this page. Tonight is the finals at the Burbank Armory in California. Show starts at 8:00 and I believe there are 11 matches, so it'll be a long evening. We also posted a new Bryan & Vinny Show last night. We haven't watched Smackdown yet and I have no idea when we'll be able to, so the next show may be Monday night following Raw as usual. For those of you who have noticed issues with PayPal, well, so have we. The instituted a new system a few days ago and thus far it has not gone smoothly. Some of you may have seen your subscriptions canceled without your permission. Hopefully most of the minor issues will be resolved this week, and if you have major issues please e-mail Admin Tony at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it As most of you are probably aware by now, Raw tapes tonight and there may be fireworks. We're looking for all the taping results from this weekend, so if you get them please e-mail them to me at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it so we can put them on the front page. Big news of the weekend thus far is that CM Punk beat Johnny Nitro to win the ECW World Title. Umaga will also defend and likely lose the title to Jeff Hardy at the Raw tapings tonight (they're taping tonight as they leave for an international tour afterwards) prior to leaving on his suspension. As noted elsewhere, Mike Bucci, aka Nova, was fired. He was head of developmental and developmental is in many ways a mess. We'll have much more on this story in the new issue of Figure Four Weekly which comes out Tuesday night. Eugene was also fired. I believe this was a deal where he had his third strike and is out. Vince made it very clear in a meeting a few days back that the three strike rule is being enforced to the letter for everyone. There may be more firings upcoming. Adam Pearce is the new NWA World Heavyweight Champion. Yes, Adam Pearce. More later. {plug} |
