Nigel comes out says he is going to have a long run as champion. Roderick comes out saying his title means more, Albright comes out says he defeated someone somewhere sometime.... Match 1: Strong vs. Albright Albright dominated most the match Strong came back. Crowd knew spots to pop for but for an ROH crowd it was quite dead and continued through out the night. Hero vs. Karl Anderson was next. Brief flurry by Anderson midmatch but other than that easy win by Hero. Perkins vs. Romero. Perkins looked good and I hope he makes it back but Romero picks up the win by kicks to the head Claudio vs. Richards. I thought this was a good match but other than the AAAYYYYEEES crowd was dead for it. Claudio picks up the win Nigel vs. Danielson . OK showing for these two but match went to a draw which I thought it should so both men don't advance. it was announced that the winner of the next match would win a spot in survival of the fittest. Human Tornado vs. Tony Kozina vs. Hagadorn Crowd was REALLY into Tornado although Kozina looked like he could GO. Really brief match though and Tornado picks up the win. Briscoes vs. Jacobs and Necro. Good hardcore match although they played up that Mark was not at 100 percent so it was far from a great outing. Necro and Jimmy pick up the win Survival of the fittest Hero played an angle the entire time where he was gonna sit the match out and did for most the match and played the opportunistic one. Tornado out first when Hero snuck in from behind and pinned him. Romero out second I believe I forget who pinned him Aries eliminated next crowd was PISSED at his loss Strong took a bribe from Sweeney then for Hero and him to work as a team. Hero turns on strong and takes the money back for Strong be gone next Claudio is pinned finally after a damn fine effort by submission for your NEW ROH Survival of the Fittest Champion CHRIS HERO. Damn the Sweeney promos are gonna get better. Other notes Crowd was dead for most of it and I don't think they are coming back to Vegas anytime soon. I doubt that they had many more people in this venue than they did with their original shows in the high school gymnasium. I think Airies vs Delerious was match of the night and the one the crowd was most into. Any questions ask and I will try to recall. {plug} |
