Welcome to our ongoing coverage of the Super Chico 2007 DETHTOUR~! As noted, I will be facing Ted "The Trailer" McNaylor on November 15th at the Davis Arena in Louisville, KY, and "Sweet & Sour" Larry Sweeney on November 18th at the former ECW Arena in Philadelphia, PA. For more info on the McNaylor show, click here. For more info on the Sweeney show, click here. Hope to see some of you at one or both of these great events!

I will also be observing the OVW TV taping in Louisville on the 14th, the Chikara show in Reading, PA on the 16th, and UFC in Newark, NJ on the 17th.

We will still be updating the news as regularly as possible in the Top Stories section in the middle of the page. We will also have Figure Four Dailies as scheduled on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. We cannot do Bryan & Vinny Shows this weekend, including post-Survivor Series, but I will try to do at least two make-up updates from the road for members, and we'll be back on schedule for the post-Raw Bryan & Vinny Show. Thanks to everyone for all of your support.

Well, Buddy and I have made it to Louisville. We are currently at Adam Revolver's house and probably won't make the OVW show tonight after all. I currently have very limited Internet, only on my phone. I should be able to have a news update soon and should be able to post Thursday's Figure Four Daily in the morning. Keep checking back for more.

We got a room. Adam Revolver had a cat and I'm allergic to cats, and I'm also not supposed to sneeze or blow my nose due to my eye. So we were basically forced to relocate. I have no idea where we are at. Literally no idea. A cab driver took us here and dropped us off. At the very least we have Internet. We ate at a sub place. More to come.

Given Revolver's close association with Ted McNaylor, I can only theorize that the cat was in some way involved in a plot to kill me.

I finally got the news update for the day done. We're all caught up. Tomorrow's Figure Four Daily will be posted early in the morning and we'll probably have a bonus show up later in the day with Buddy, who is in rare form. We actually had to walk about a mile in the rain to get a cab because they're doing Extreme Home Makeover on Adam Revolver's street and the cab couldn't go down that road since the cops had it shut down. The hotel here also claimed they only had one non-smoking room with two beds, which, given the fact that we appear to be the only people in the world in this hotel, seems hard to believe. Our room is actually outside the main building, and Buddy says it may be the worst hotel he's stayed in in his entire 23-year career. And the cab driver said this was the good one (there was also a Budget Inn, which we avoided). TV didn't work, but when we returned from the sub place we determined it was not plugged in. Buddy is now passed out on the bed. It's basically 6:56 PM Pacific time. The road will own you.

Also, to further backtrack, the flight from Seattle to Chicago was ungodly horrible, the roughest flight since the one Vince and I took to Vegas where Vince thought the plane was going to go down and we were all going to die. (And, in fact, it was so windy we had to pull up, fly in a big circle, and then try to land again.) Flight from Chicago to Louisville was good, and less than an hour long. Louisville has the smallest airport I've ever seen. I expected horses or cows to be there turning the luggage return conveyor belt.

We met everyone at OVW tonight and they were a fine group of people.

Time to watch TUF.

So today, Thursday, the day of Ted McNaylor's DOOM, we woke up at about 5:00 AM Pacific. This is, in fact, the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I took a shower this morning and ended up feeling dirtier than before. At about 10:00 AM we decided to walk down the street to get supplies and some food. There were sidewalks on one side of the road but not the other, and of course we needed to be on the side of the road with no sidewalks, so we walked in the grass as huge trucks roared by. I remembered from coming here that there was a mall of some sort about a mile down the road by the Walgreens, so that was where we headed. It was a lot farther on foot than I had recalled.

Of course, it was one of those malls that is currently shut down for remodeling, or it had been condemned, one or the other. So we kept walking and all there was around was a pizza place and a Wendy's. This is why you always hear that staying in shape on the road is hard. Luckily though, back by the Kroeger's, there was a Chinese restaurant. This was some good eating. We went to Kroeger's afterwards and got various things, including juice, some protein bars and shakes, and so forth.

So it was time to walk back. The walk there had been pretty horrible mostly because it was frikkin colder than hell and windy. We'd watched the weather this morning and it said something like low 40s with the wind chill hitting 34. On the way to Kroeger's, the wind was at our back, so it sucked but could have been worse.

On the way back it did, in fact, get worse. I should preface this by noting that I was wearing wind pants and a sweatshirt and Buddy, who never wears pants, wore shorts and some sort of thin workout shirt. The wind also, of course, was to our face this time. And since we had supplies, we couldn't put our hands in our pockets.

IT THEN PROCEEDED TO SNOW.

Now, it wasn't snowing hard or anything, but it was quite the moment when we passed the Wendy's and I suddenly remarked, "Is it fucking SNOWING?" Indeed it was. Buddy was so bemused that he demanded we stop so that he could take a photo of me standing in the snow in front of the Cajun Restaurant, the best Memphis food in the entire town of Louisville.

So we walked the mile back to the worst Comfort Inn I've ever stayed at in the snow with the wind smashing our faces. To say this sucked would be quite the understatement. It was actually a rather surreal moment, really, since I had termed this little deal the DETHTOUR and here we were trudging through the fucking snow.

So we're back here where we'll hang out until someone picks us up for tonight's show. I have been soaking my hands in warm water and I don't think they'll fall off, but I was worried there for awhile.

Other than that, everything is GREAT~!

And the first leg of the Dethtour has ended. After a grueling one hour battle, Ted submitted to a sharpshooter. This was an amazing experience and Ted McNaylor is incredible. I am very tired and we now have the drive to Reading. More tomorrow, and a huge thank you to Danny, Rip and all the guys at DCW, just a great group of people.

We are currently in Pennsylvania. We have been through Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia today. Hotel last night didn't have wireless, so I won't be able to update anything, including the Brian Fritz Figure Four Daily, until late tonight. Other than that, all is well and I feel pretty good all things considered.

Looks like we won't be able to make Chikara tonight. An oil truck flipped over and we were at a dead stop for over an hour, and at the rate we were traveling we would have missed pretty much the entire show. Promoter Mike and I are heading to Newark now for tomorrow's UFC. Everything is good for Sunday as we will only be a few hours from Philly for the Sunday show.

I should be able to get a bunch of stuff done tonight, and until then the Brian Fritz Figure Four Daily has been posted by anchor on the board.

Well, it's 6:18 AM Pacific and I'm up and ready to roll. We drove for 13 hours last night through five states, and are currently at a hotel near the Newark airport. Last night we had no wireless so I couldn't do a goddamn thing, but luckily it is working this morning. We traveled through, swear to God, NUTLEY, NJ, a place that I not only wasn't sure really existed, but is the only place I have ever been to in my life that has one Dunkin' Donuts ACROSS THE STREET from another. This explains Balls Mahoney. There have been a few moments that we've feared for our lives but otherwise all is well.

We've finally posted the Friday Figure Four Daily as well as the Saturday Dr. Keith Show, so there is plenty to listen to. I hope to do an audio update sometime soon as well. We'll also have ongoing UFC coverage from the building starting with the dark matches around 7 EST.

If you didn't see it, we've got full live coverage of last night's UFC elsewhere on this page. I enjoyed myself, although there have been better shows. We will have a more detailed recap with backstage notes and a recap of the post-show press conference in this coming Tuesday's issue of Figure Four Weekly.

And so we are on the road again to the final stop in the 2007 Super Chico DETHTOUR. Tonight at the former ECW Arena in Philadelphia, I shall take my final victim, Larry Sweeney, and bring his ICW/ICWA Texarkana TV Title back home to the Empire. If you are in the area it would be great to see you, and it should be an excellent show top-to-bottom. It starts at 4 o'clock, so show up early if you don't have tickets!

More later, but for those that heard about the Lince Dorado injury at tonight's Chikara show, we are very happy to announce that he only suffered a severe concussion and should be released tonight. I realize that it sounds strange to say we are happy to report that, but it was a really scary injury and I was very worried at the time that it might be much, much worse. All our best to him.

After a six hour flight, I am home from a fun and successful tour, and yes, I have brought the ICW/ICWA Texarkana Television Title home TO THE EMPIRE~! Larry Sweeney fell, decisively this time, though he did put up a hell of a fight. It was a great time, and I want to thank everyone at Chikara and of course promoter's Mike Quackenbush and MIKE E~! for making it possible. Maybe I'll defend the belt someday, or maybe I'll just hang it up next to the Ted McNaylor "GRANNY SUCKS" shirt that Granny is going to make into a flag and call it a career.

I also wanted to say thanks to Keith and his lovely girlfriend Christine who were kind enough to drive me from Philadelphia to the airport last night, and Alex Marvez for letting me stay in his room at the Marriott as opposed to sleeping on a conveyor belt at the airport. Fantastic human beings, all of them. So I am going to wrap this up now and get back to work. Vinny and I return tonight after Raw for what will be a very jet-lagged show, talking some notes from the tour plus Raw and Derby City. Vince will talk a bit about Survivor Series as well, but I haven't seen it so I can't comment much. Also, I have three Fighting Spirit columns to write today so the regular news update won't return until tomorrow. Everything else is back on schedule, though, including the newsletter tomorrow night and the newest Figure Four Daily Wednesday.

So again, thanks to everyone who helped make this weekend possible, it was the best time I've ever had in wrestling. VIVA LA EMPIRE~! {plug}
