- Sad to report the death of lucha star Bestia Salvaje (Juan Manuel Rodriguez) yesterday. Over the last decade he was most famous for his runs in Los Guapos and Los Talibanes post-9/11 (seriously, they got away with this). He was either 46 or 48 years old. The cause of death is being reported as liver disease but there may be more to that story.

- CMLL's Dos Leyendas supershow is tonight with Perro Aguayo Jr. vs. Hector Garza hair vs. hair headlining. That feud is mega hot and they're going to totally sellout Arena Mexico. Results later on.

- Big Show is on Conan O'Brien later tonight.

- If you missed it, today's Figure Four Daily with former WWE creative writer Court Bauer was a great show. Tons of talk about one of his mentors, the late Gary Hart, plus thoughts on WWE, Major League Wrestling, and so much more. Check it out if you haven't already. Dave Meltzer also returns tomorrow for another show talking all the news in pro-wrestling and MMA.

- Hart's official cause of death was listed as heart disease.

- Weigh-in for the April 5th Larry Barnes vs. Larry Sweeney boxer vs. wrestler match takes place on Friday, April 4 at 4:00 p.m. at LA Boxing, 330 Waverly Ave., Mamaroneck, NY. They battle the next night at New Rochelle High School.

- LARRY BARNES HIMSELF will be on Figure Four Daily next week.

- Afa Anoa'i Jr. was suspended from WWE for 30 days. Wellness failure.

- I haven't seen it yet but apparently there's a great three-page article on steroids in the March 17th issue of Sports Illustrated.

- Iron Ring on BET debuted with an 0.87 rating, which sounds pretty good. Not sure what it means, but more men than women watched the show. ECW did a 1.26 that same night. All I know about Impact was 1.4 million viewers.

- We are pleased to announced that RIP ROGERS will be our guest on Wrestling Observer Live Sunday night, talking OVW, Derby City and WWE.

- My interview with Alex Marvez about post-Benoit

- Matt Hardy has a big blog with more info on Jeff's house fire here.

- Anyone who is planning on going to Vegas in late May for UFC and wants to join in on an F4W dinner at Gallagher's Steakhouse arranged by Ed in San Antonio, please check in at the "F4W Convention" thread in the MMA section of the Board ASAP. Ed is booking the dinner this week.

- Dragon Gate Memorial Gate results from today. Thanks to Alan4L and dgusa.puroresufan.com:
