Karl "Machine Gun" Anderson opens up the show pretty much saying he couldn't sleep cuz he lost his tag titles. He finally got some sleep and woke up realizing he had to "learn from the masters of the Far East" aka take the place of Yuji Nagata in the New Japan Cup.

We cut to a generic voiceover (rather than Dave Marquez) saying we'll see Joey Ryan vs. Matt Jackson as well as Brent Albright, Chris Escobar in action, and Los Luchas vs. JT Blackstar and Scorpio Sky.

Dave Marquez interviews Chris Escobar, hailing form Virginia. He's gonna show everyone why he's known as "Pure Talent". Apparently he's the pro wrestling's best kept secret. HMMMM.

"Pure Talent" Chris Escobar defeats Dan "The Man" Kobrick with his Esco-Lator (double underhook bulldog). Escobar is the face in this match-up. Kobrick was trained by Jesse Hernandez and wrestles regularly in the Empire Wrestling Federation. Kobrick hit a nice looking Fireman's Carry into a Power Slam.

Marquez is back with Adam Pearce, Joey Ryan and C. Edward Vanderpyle. Pearce starts off by saying that he's sad that a Hall of Famer is retiring from his business. He makes it to seem as if it's Flair but instead its Brett Farve. Pearce is looking silly with his Newsies cap, by the way. He and Joey talk about Machine Gun going to Japan and stuff. Marquez brings up TJ Perkins and Pearce goes off on him, saying he's still the champ. Pearce says TJ has work his way to the top and he has to face Nicho del Psicosis. Marquez talks about Albright now and Pearce gabs, bringing in "Sexy" Sonny Samson to take him out.

Joey Ryan def. Matt Jackson via school boy pin. Joey is in the ring smoking before the match starts, awesome. Matt is heralded as the better of the two Young Bucks, so it's nice to see going one on one with a fellow WWE jobber. Jackson hits his Quesadora Destroyer, but Vanderpyle distracts the ref as well as Matt and Joey gets the win with a school boy and a hand full of tights.

Los Luchas def. Scorpio Sky & JT Blackstar via elavated spear. Nice lucha mixed with American style.

Phoenix Star and Zokre are backstage being interviewed. One talks English, the other speaks Spanish. They'll take on any tag team that wants a peice. Viva la raza.

Brent Albright def. "Sexy" Sonny Samson via Gun Rack submission. Samson is all business for this match, he probably wants his money. That's a lot of beef in the ring. Samson works over the arm of Albright the whole match. Post match, Pearce hits the ring and puts a beatdown on Albright. Joey comes out to join in on the beatings. Pearce hits his piledriver before the Young Bucks come out and run the heels out of the ring.
