![]() Seriously By This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it - The three hour Raw is about to start (8:00 EST, an hour early). There is a King of the Ring tournament tonight, but who cares? THIS IS THE BIG NEWS. If possible, I would vote for all three of these individuals after this.- An article on the candidates - So yeah, King of the Ring. Lots of rumors about who the eight participants are leading up to the show, but all we know as of this moment is that the main event is Undertaker & Kane & John Cena & HHH vs. Randy Orton & JBL & Edge & Chavo Guerrero, so obviously none of them are involved. Usually the guy who wins is on the road to a big push, and actually the best idea I have heard is from Dave Meltzer on the LAW, who predicted Lance Cade. MVP would be a good choice but he's already US Champion, and a guy like Kennedy is always a possibility. This is also the go-home show before Backlash so expect a huge push for the HBK vs. Batista match, the three title matches, Show vs. Khali, etc. Wrestlers from all three brands are at the show tonight. - There are rumors all over the place that Chuck Liddell suffered an injury in training and his match with Rashad Evans has been cancelled. We've heard the rumor but cannot yet confirm. - We can confirm that a major WWE executive appears to have been suspended for 60 days. We'll have much more in the new issue of Figure Four Weekly that comes out tomorrow. - Vinny and I will be back late tonight running down this show in detail, and we'll also debut a short segment called BRYAN AND VINNY GO TO THE MOVIES. Can this much excitement be contained today? - Last night's Observer Live with Mike Coughlin, Keith Lipinski and Gabe Sapolsky is up here. Thanks to board member CUTRER~! for both providing the link and overseeing the WOL archive in the radio show section. We have shows dating all the way back to 1999 up there, including every show from at least the past two years. - PWG in California has signed a deal with Big Vision Entertainment to distribute their DVDs in retail outlets. - Don’t forget, THIS FRIDAY, April 25th in Elizabeth, PA at the Court Time Sports Center I will be putting my ICW/ICWA Texarkana Television Title on the line in a four-way with Larry Sweeney, Ruckus and Delirious. Larry will also be putting his Super Indy Title on the line which he won in the tournament last year. I plan to take both titles back home to the EMPIRE, because like Shawn Michaels I don't lay down for anybody. I hope some of you can make it out for these as a fun time will be had by all! - Andrew wrote in with this: Just thought I'd give you a heads up if you wanted to see the Strikeforce on NBC show. Its showing right now, Sunday at 1130am & 1200 on Comcast cable channel 660 (Universal Cable) in HD. - Warrior (yes, that Warrior) vs. Orlando Jordan has been signed for the Nu-Wrestling Evolution show (also real promotion) on June 25th in Barcelona, Spain. - Senate bill would relax rules on sport fighting - An amazing article for many reasons - Lance Storm on Gabe Sapolsky
