Mauro on CBS, UFC open workouts today, Rey returns, Ross on Regal, more PDF Print E-mail

- UFC has open workouts today in the MGM Grand Marquee Ballroom. Sean Sherk, Keith Jardine and Goran Reljic workout from 1 to 2 PM, and BJ Penn, Wanderlei Silva and Wilson Gouveia work out from 2 to 3 PM. It's like a babyface and heel dressing room.

- Speaking of UFC, James Irvin, who was replacing Chuck Liddell in the fight with Rashad Evans, went down with an injury and now the Rashad fight has been scrapped altogether from the show.

- Rey Misterio is listed as returning to Smackdown on June 7th in Fresno for a segment with MVP.

- Jimmy Kimmell announced on his show that Cousin Sal would be wrestling Santino in two weeks at the Staples Center, which is a Smackdown show.

- Jim Ross has thoughts on William Regal in his new blog up here.

- CNN actually had a crawl Tuesday about Frank Shamrock and Gus Johnson getting the CBS announcing gig for EliteXC. Although it wasn't mentioned in yesterday's press release, Mauro Ranallo will be the third man in the booth.

- Yankees Fan writes: Adult performer Trina Michaels has signed on to take part of the XPW Show this saturday in Redondo Beach. Trina is the chick on youtube who impersonates wrestlers and post the videos. XPW shot some promos with her and they are at youtube.com/3waydance.

- A DOUBLE KNOCKOUT on Iron Ring is up here

- Nathan Hubbard forgot to set the VCR, so no Raw report this week. It'll be back this coming Monday.
