Our ongoing WEC Pulver vs. Faber play-by-play will begin at approximately 6:00 PM PST/9:00 PM EST.

Lightweight - 155 pounds
1. Rob McCullough(15-4) vs Kenneth Alexander(5-2)
McCullough is coming off of a loss. Alexander has a previous win over McCullough in 2002. So this is a rematch. Very tentative first round as nothing much happens. Barely a strike landed until the last minute of the round. Second round is more of the same. Neither guy getting the better of the exchanges. Third is the same... Split Decision goes to McCullough

They talk to Jamie Varner, the current WEC lightweight champ. He picks Faber over Pulver.

Lightheavyweight - 205 pounds
2. Mark Munoz(3-0) vs Chuck Grigsby(15-3)
Grigsby has a 6 inch height advantage. Munoz wants the take down early and gets it 2 minutes in after taking a bit of damage on the feet. Munoz lays down some mean shots as he passes Grigsby's guard. Munoz knocks out Grigsby as he attempted a leg lock in the first round

Lightweight - 155 pounds
3. Danny Castillo(5-0) vs Donald Cerrone(7-0)
Castillo scores the take down early but finds himself in an arm bar. Cerrone gets the win by arm bar in the first round.

Bantamweight Championship - 135 pounds
4. Miguel Torres(33-1) vs Yoshiro Maeda(22-4-2)
Torres goes after Maeda very aggressively. After getting taken down Torres fails at arm bar to an oma plata, but stands back up. Torres lands some nice knees. Furious pace to the first round. Back and forth war in the second round. Three minutes into the second they hit the ground with Maeda going for leg locks. This ends in both going for a toe hold neither tapping. Second round ends with Torres punishing Maeda after gaining mount then his back. Torres starts the third scoring well with the jab. Torres takes the third easily. Maeda's right eye is almost swollen shut. Referee stops the fight in between rounds. Torres takes this one by doctor stoppage.

Featherweight Championship - 145 pounds
5. Jens Pulver(22-8-1) vs Urijah Faber(20-1)
Faber is getting the better of the stand-up early on. Pulver is having a real hard time landing any decent strikes. Pulver is getting taken apart in the second. He gets destroyed on the feet and is almost out but comes firing back, landing some good shots. Third round Pulver is still having a hard time landing clean shots. The left side of Pulver's face is swelling up pretty good from Faber left hooks. Faber still does more damage in the fourth round. He scores a take down with about 2 minutes left. Pulver plays a completely defensive guard looking for a referee stand up until the end of the fourth round. Pulver is pretty clearly down four rounds to none at this point. Fifth is more of the same. Pulver can't land a decent enough strike and Faber keeps landing the right straight. Fight ends with Faber on top of Jens. Closer fight than the score cards will show. Probably 50-45 for Faber but this was a good war. Unanimous decision for Faber.
