We're going to do a poll tonight on the Elite XC show as well as the Dream 4 show so you can leave a thumbs up, thumbs down or thumbs in the middle along with a best and worst match for each show at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

We're also looking for reports on the WWE shows today with the Raw crew in Boise, ID, and Smackdown crew in Adelaide, Australia (Batista vs. Edge, Undertaker & Kane vs. MVP & Mark Henry, C.M. Punk vs. Chavo Guerrero), as well as the TNA house show in Coventry, England and the Adrenaline show if anyone is watching on HD-Net at the addresses above ( This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it and This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ).

WWE continues its Smackdown overseas tour on Sunday in Sydney. Most shows have Edge vs. Batista on top with Undertaker (on the tour, they are doing a gimmick where they say he's reinstated for a farewell tour) & Kane vs. Mark Henry & Great Khali.

The Raw tour has a house show Sunday in Ogden, UT before the live Raw on Monday night in Salt Lake City. That show is either sold out or close to it, and will feature the second week of the $1 million giveaway.

TNA finishes up its U.K. tour with a show tomorrow in Essex.

Dream lineup for late tonight, early tomorrow at the Yokohama Arena:

*Shinya Aoki vs. Katsuhiko Nagata in the lightweight tournament

*Gegard Mousasi vs. Yoon Dong Sik in middleweight tournament

*Kazushi Sakuraba vs. Melvin Mahoef in the middleweight tournament

*Zelg Galesic vs. Taiei Kin in middleweight tournament

*Jason Miller vs. Ronaldo Jacare Souza in the middleweight tournament

*Alistair Overeem vs. Lee Tae-Hyun

*Ralek Gracie vs. Atavutdin Gadzhyev

*Hideo Tokoro vs. Darren Uyenoyama

It's a crazy TV night for MMA fans. This is today's schedule on HD-Net, and keep in mind this is all Eastern time, so for the West Coast it's three hours earlier:

4 p.m. - Best of Dream 3

7 p.m. - Dream 4 preview

9:30 p.m. - Adrenaline live from Chicago

12:30 a.m. - Countdown to Thomson vs. Melendez

4 a.m. - Dream 4 live from Japan

Weigh-in weights for tonight's Elite XC show in Honolulu on Showtime:

*Rafael Feijao (5-1 record; 205 pounds) vs. Wayne Cole (11-6 record, 204 pounds)

*Dave Herman (10-0 record, 243.5 pounds) vs. Ron Waterman (15-5-2 record; 263 pounds)

*Murilo Ninja Rua (15-8-1 record, 184 pounds) vs. Tony Bonello (16-0-1 record, 185 pounds)

*Nick Diaz (16-7 record, 169 pounds) vs. Muhsin Corbbrey (13-2 record, 163.5 pounds)

*K.J. Noons (5-1 record, 160 pounds) vs. Yves Edwards (34-13-1 record, 158.5 pounds) for the Elite XC lightweight title

Yes, Diaz missed making weight by only eight pounds. I haven't yet heard an excuse for that one, but that's ridiculous. At least Gina Carano legitimately had only a few weeks to train after being huge for Gladiators and having to get down.

The Adrenaline show tonight is headlined by Jason Guida vs. Mike Russow, plus Daiju Takase vs. Terry Martin, Forrest Petz vs Brian Gassaway, Mark Miller vs. Anthony Lapsley, Jeff Cox vs. Bart Palaszewski and Jay Ellis vs. Rory Markham

We've got tons of inside WWE news in this coming Monday's jumbo-sized issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, which is available right now on the site if you sign up.

We look at the Million Dollar idea, other WWE giveaway ideas, the reaction to the show on Raw, the reaction inside the company to the rating and if there is a little bit of good news in the rating, what it was.

We also look at how the money would have been better invested and a look at why the business is starting to flatten out and how it is paying for mistakes made several years ago.

In that regard, we talk about those mistakes, talk about plans to slowly rebuild although this won't pay dividends for a long period of time.

We've got news on the return to the writing team of Michael Hayes with a lot of news on how everything is going down and how and why there are many concerned this could be temporary.

We also have an in-depth look at Smackdown right now with a look at the recent TV taping in San Jose and a lot of funny notes on the show.

We've got a look at the tragedy at the TNA Slammiversary show, as well as business notes on the show, early PPV buy rate indications along with poll results, and match-by-match coverage with star ratings.

We also have similar coverage for UFC 85 from London, including why UFC officials were not upset at Thiago Alves for not making weight and how come he got a big bonus, real bad news from early buy rate indicators, as well as a lot of controversy regarding the officiating, including fouls called and the usage of instant replay on referees decisions in MMA.

We've got a journalistic note regarding a pro wrestling story from earlier this year that really saddens me. We've got notes on one of the WWE's major executives leaving the company, an update on Undertaker and his return, a McMahon family update, more on the suspension of Jimmy Wang Yang, another drug testing update as well as an injury update.

We also have notes on WWE getting slapped in legal action by another wrestling promoter.

We've got an update on Ric Flair including a sports team that is adopting him this season.

We also have an update on Bryan Danielson, his summer bookings, what WWE officials thought about his tryout and his future ROH and AAA plans.

We've got updates on WWE DVD sales, and how the changes in the WWE web site appear to have affected traffic. We've also got updates on another son of a legend starting in WWE developmental, best selling DVDs, a hilarious irony from a WWE 24/7 broadcast, an update on Mick Foley's latest charitable cause, a WWE star who over the weekend appeared on television with one of the longest-standing promotions in the world and why he was there, house show business notes from the weekend and high show notes.

We've got an update on buy rates for WWE's Backlash PPV with an official number, as well as early trend indicators leading to an early prediction on the 5/24 UFC buy rate.

We also have a major review on the movie, "Bigger, Faster, Stronger," on steroid use in sports, put together by former WWE writer Chris Bell, whose two brothers were pro wrestlers. We look at what MMA promoter purchased distribution rights, how the movie has been reviewed, as well as a look at the movie and what he avoided, while talking about the enormous level of hypocrisy and the probable future of our sporting competitions.

We also have notes on the IFL as it looks to be on death's door.

We also have our usual features including not just the ratings for all the national wrestling and MMA shows, but segment-by-segment numbers of the major shows so in WWE and TNA, you can see which performers and segments gain and lose viewers and what it means. We also have results from the major league arena events over the past week as well as the major TV reports.

--It is not a lock that it will be someone in the finals who gets busted on Wednesday's Ultimate Fighter 90 minute special. It was worded to give you that impression, and the show made you think it was Jesse Taylor, but the actual wording is "He's out of the finale and out of the UFC," which just means he's not going to be on the show in Las Vegas this coming Saturday and not necessarily the championship match. He noted that Kimbo Slice only sold 8,000 tickets in Newark and if he thought, the place would be sold out.
