As you've probably guessed by now, Wrestling Observer and Figure Four Weekly have merged, and the Observer newsletter will now be available online! Dave and I are very excited about this new project, which has been in the works for some time. We will now be pooling our resources to create the number-one pro-wrestling/MMA website in the world.

Although there will be many changes, many things will also remain the same. The print Observer and print Figure Four will continue in their present form, we will still be providing daily news updates and features on the website, and all of the current members-only Figure Four Weekly features (including all of the radio shows, newsletters and archives) will remain. There will be a price increase to $9.99 per month from the current $7.99, but we believe that the increase in features will make it worth far more than that.

In addition to the Observers going online, we will also be adding at least one new back issue per week to the Observer Archive, starting with the first non-typewritten issues from 1991. Hopefully, I will complete the Figure Four Archive as well, which is missing about 50 issues between 2001 and today. In addition to the other radio shows on this website, Dave and I will now be doing minimum three new shows per week, on Monday nights after Raw, Wednesday nights (which will be very convenient since we can discuss that week's new Observer just hours after it's published), and during the weekend, likely Sunday night after major PPVs. The Bryan & Vinny Show will continue on Monday nights and Thursday nights, Figure Four Dailies will likely remain on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and the Adam & Mike, Five Star Radio, Keith Lipinski and Karl Stern shows will all continue in their present form.

Dave and I will also be doing breaking audio shows for subscribers within hours of major news breaking. Occasionally we'll provide exclusive members-only articles on the front page, similar to what Steve Sims is doing now with his twice-a-week members-only lucha Q&As.

For current figurefouronline.com members, those of you paying on recurring will continue to pay your current rate until your recurring subscription ends (and be warned -- PayPal sometimes cancels these for no good reason, and once that happens there is nothing we can do to repair it. If it is any solace, it ultimately happens to pretty much everyone, though sometimes not for several years). If you have been paying via one-time PayPal or credit card payment, you will have to pay the new rates when your subscription expires. We recommend signing up for recurring because that protects you for a period in the event that we raise prices in the future.

For the time being, there will not be an option to order both online and hardcopy together, and the old deal of getting free online access with a hardcopy Figure Four subscription must come to an end for a number of reasons.
