Thumbs in the middle

Best: Diego Sanchez vs. Luigi Fioravanti
Worst: Grove vs. Tanner

Thumbs in the middle due to most fights going the distance.

To be honest, Grove vs. Tanner only got the worst for me because I gave Riddle vs. Rivera slack since Riddle was basically an MMA newbie.

To me, Diego Sanchez looked like a guy who should seriously consider dropping to 155 even though he won a fun fight to watch. The fact that he couldn't take Luigi down should give him thought to consider a drop. If he can't Luigi down, how will he do against the top shelf guys? He had no success against Fitch and Koscheck in fights he lost. There's no way he could take GSP down.

Matt Riddle looked good for a guy with no pro fights under his belt (excuding the TUF fights). I don't want to see him on a PPV, but if they want to develop him on Ultimate Fight Night specials, I don't mind. I would have LOL'd if he brought out the retirement plaque he had bought for Dante. Dude would have been tailor-made for WWE.

CB Dollaway looked real weak denying his tap to an arm bar. Man up dude! You lost! I'm sure Dana White has offered him a similar deal to what Amir got since he's got potential. Bottom line is that either guy doesn't look like any threat to Anderson Silva, or even Michael Bisping.

I did enjoy the Spencer Fisher - Jeremy Stevens fight. Spencer never seems to have a boring fight.

Hi Dave,
Thumbs in the middle
Best Fight: Fisher/Stephens
Worst Fight: Rivera/Riddle
Very lackluster show, but I don't regret watching it so thumbs in the middle not down for me.
I was very happy that Amir won, b/c right from the beginning I was cheering for him b/c of his promos/confessionals.  I especially liked the one when he predicted that Matt Brown would beat Jeremy May "by murder".  He showed great personality and a hell of a lot of skill for someone without a professional fight - although tonight he was listed as 1-0.
By far the weakest TUF finale ever - especially since 3 of the 5 live fights went to decision and a 4th was less than a minute from a decision also.
Don't have much to say about the 3 added fights - all went about as expected.   Although, I was surprised that they started with Riddle/Rivera rather than Fisher/Stephens or Sanchez/Fiorvanti.
Was surprised that they added an undercard fight to the show since it began at midnight, didn't think we'd get any at that point.  Was a nice highlight to open that fight (Drew/Eastman).

Dave,

I thought this was a pretty decent show. Nothing really blew me away to call my friends and tell them to catch the replay. I really was expecting a better fight between CD and Amir, but either way I was glad to see Amir get the win.  Best fight had to be Diego v/s Lugi.

I give the show a thumbs in the middle.

Best Match: Diego v/s Luigi

Worse Match: Dante v/s Matthew
