AAA on Galavision By: Xavier Hernandez Show aired on: 10/04/2008 The show starts off with the summary video from last week's show. For this show, the Legion will team up with a surprise wrestler, plus the Vampiro/Mesias feud continues, and more. 1) Billy Boy, Gato Eveready & Argenis vs. Los Diabolicos (Mr. Condor, Angel Mortal & Gallego) -First Fall: Typical opener, but the focus is on Billy Boy. The heels start dominating the match with triple team attack. The tecnicos start the usual comeback with aerial moves. The heels snap and start the triple team again, but this time with heavier attacks. The referee awards the DQ to the tecnicos, for the excessive punishment of the Diabolicos. Winners: Billy Boy, Gato Eveready & Argenis *Pretaped Segment: Fabi and mari argue with their father, and both say they're tired of wrestling the Morenos. Apache still says they have to be careful, because there is no weak opponents. The Apaches are sure they will beat the Morenos tonight, and also at VdE. 2) Los Apaches (El Apache, Fabi Apache & Mari Apache) vs. El Oriental, Cinthia Moreno & La Hechicera -First Fall: Both teams make constant tags to battle each other, but there is more interaction between Oriental and Fabi. The heels snap, and therefore we have the triple team assault. The Apaches make the comeback with hard kicks and chops. Cinthia takes out Mari with a Rolling Body attack off the apron. Hechicera does a Diving Crossbody to take out Apache. In the ring, Oriental hits a Piledriver on Fabi to score the pinfall. Winners: El Oriental, Cinthia Moreno & La Hechicera *Noti AAA: -Hype for Verano de Escandalo, which will air during the next two weeks. -AAA just released their first supercard on DVD, and it's Guerra de Titanes 08, where Cibernetico got burned by Mesias. They are promising to release more supercards on DVD (talk about influence from American wrestling on AAA). -Promo video hyping Zorro, and they're simpling asking "What's wrong with Zorro?". Good video, but I don't see where is this angle going. *Promo Video: This one hypes the Mini tournament Finals, where Octagoncito, Charlie Manson and Absimo Negro will battle for the first AAA Mini title. 3) Octagoncito, Mini Charlie Manson & Mascarita Sagrada vs. Mini Abismo Negro, Mini Histeria & Mini Kenzo Suzuki -First Fall: Nothing special during the first few minutes. Mascarita locks an Inverted figure Four on Abismo, until Big Kenzo arrives to help the heels. Big Kenzo cleans house and assaults the tecnicos. Shockingly, the referee doesn't award the DQ to the tecnicos, despite the attacks from Big K. The tecnicos start the comeback, and Mascarita does the Asai Moonsault on Abismo. Octagoncito also flies to take Histeria out. Mini K hits Big K, and Manson hits a Slingshot Crossbody on Mini K. In the ring, Abismo fouls Octagoncito, and pins him with a German Suplex. Winners: Mini Abismo Negro, Mini Histeria & Mini Kenzo Suzuki *Pretaped Segment: The HF 2.0 cuts another hard promo. Hart claims he and Jack will take the titles off the Tijuanas. Evans thinks the Tijuanas are a joke as champions, and the HF is simply the best tag team. Konnan also comes to the ring, to make fun of the new stable called the AAA Army. Konnan claims no stable will stop the Legion. Konnan tells Roldan, that starting tonight, the Legion will destroy their paper stars, until he books Konnan fairly. He introduces the HF 2.0. 4) Hart Foundation 2.0 (Teddy Hart & Jack Evans) w/Nikki vs. Crazy Boy & Extreme Tiger -First Fall: The Harts immediately attack the tecnicos with spectacular moves. Crazy begins to match Hart's technical offense, but Evans joins in. Jack pulls his bottle of water to spit in Crazy's face. The referee Tirantes sr. is also aiding the Americans. Crazy finally starts the comeback with a Diamond Dust on Hart. Tiger delivers a Gory Bomb on Evans. Crazy delivers hard chops on Hart, but Nikki comes to the rescue. The referee stops her and seduces her. Open Hart Surgey on Crazy, but the referee is still dealing with Nikki. Hart is pissed off, and tries to hit his girlfriend. Tiger is taken out with the Hartbreaker, and Evans hits the 630 Senton. The referee awards the DQ to the tecnicos, after he was attacked by Hart. (Seroiusly, they need to stop showing random crowd shots during key moments). Winners: Crazy Boy & Extreme Tiger -Aftermath: Konnan arrives with chair in hand to help the Harts destroy the tecnicos. The Legion leaves, and both tecnicos shake hands, but Tiger turns on Crazy, as expected. *Pretaped Segment: Porky enters the offices of Joaquin Roldan, to officially resign. His explanation is that he has no friends left in the company, and he cannot wrestle like that. Roldan tells Porky he has many friends, and asks Porky to continue at least until VdE, and both will take a decision afterwards. Porky agrees and leaves the office. *Promo Video: This one hypes the situation between Mesias and La Secta. Apparently Mesias is not pleased with the job the Secta guys are doing, but the Secta are tired of beign treated like slaves. The Secta has a surprise in store for Mesias at VdE. On the other hand, the Dance Club members (El Elegido and Alan Stone), claim they will finish the Secta. 5) Mesias, Dark Ozz & Dark Cuervo vs. Vampiro, El Elegido & Alan Stone -First Fall: The heels start the early assault, and obviously Mesias is going after Vampiro. Both men take their battle to ringside. The Canadian applies a Big Boot to stop Mesias' momentum. Elegido applies the Inverted Hercules Cutter on Ozz. The secta member does a standing Moonsault on Elegido for the two. Ozz gets Elegido into the Swinging Bottom for the three count. Winners: Mesias, Dark Ozz & Dark Cuervo -Aftermath: Mesias and Vampiro take their brawl to the crowd. The Secta guys stop Mesias from continuing the brawl with Vampiro. The Canadian Vampire celebrates in the ring, but Mesias returns to beat him up. Security staff has to interfere to stop the brawl between both men. (This sets the Steel Cage match between the two at VdE). *Promo Video: This one hypes the official heel turn of Chessman. The assassain of the red light is now working solo, and his main targets are Mesias and Cibernetico. Darkness has invaded Chessman, and the Hell Brothers are finished. Cibernetico bows to make Chessman pay for his betrayal, and Chessman also bows to take the title. *Pretaped Segment: La Parka tries to cheer Superfly. Parka claims Electroshock is scared of Fly, and that's why he is trying to destroy Fly no matter what. Fly promises to do anything possible to remain in the main event spot, and to defeat Electroshock. 6) Cibernetico, La Parka & Superfly vs. Chessman, Kenzo Suzuki & Electroshock. -First Fall: Same typical match, concerning the in-ring performance. Electro once again completely destroys Fly, and even Fly's father tries to stop Electro. Chessman and Cibernetico now attack each other with heavy strikes and chairshots. A big table is set in one of the ring corners. Fly is taken on a stretcher, after the cruel attacks of Electro. Parka is double teamed by the Legion. Chessman spears Cibernetico through the table, and the referee DQs Chessman for excessive punishment. Winners: Cibernetico, La Parka & Superfly -Aftermath: Joaquin Roldan arrives to the ring with bodyguards to kick Chessman out of the ring. FINAL COMMENTS: Overall, a good show. This show did good hype for Ciber/Chessman, Mesias/Vampro, the Minis, and Electro/Fly. Seroiusly, they need to stop showing random crowd shots during key moments, it really bothers me. Verano de Escandalo airs next week, and I promised to do FULL reports on supercards. I mentioned before that I'd only do short reports for regular shows. This has nothing to do with the report, but I just completed my first year as a reporter for the Wrestling Observer website. I really want to thank Mr. Dave Meltzer for the opportunity he has given to take my passion for Lucha Libre to another level. I truly enjoyed this first year, covering both CMLL and AAA. I also want ot thank Bryan Alvarez, and Stephen Ashfield for giving me the chance to wirte an article for Piledriver Online. Also I want to thank Stu Saks, Lisa Rocchi and Frank Krewda for giving the chance to work for Pro Wrestling Illustrated Magazine. Finally I want to thank everyone who reads my reports every Sunday and Monday. Throughout this year, I received nothing but great feedback, and I am so happy to know that readers like my reports. Thanks to Dave Meltzer again for this wonderful opportunity. I'll keep doing reports, as long as I have computer access, the right TV channels, and free time during the weekends.
