Thumbs nicely up for this one!
Best:  Butterbean/Trishelle vs. Danny/Todd
Worst: not much

The watchdog group make take issues with this show, but I'm not.
Tonight was a show focused on motivation or lack thereof.  I was angry
at Erin's elimination, but Nikki did take this as a wakeup call and I
could see her take on some initiative.

She came headlong into the
realization that wrestling isn't as easy as it looks.  There is the
double-edged sword of not telling the viewing audience that these
required moves per each episode are the very same moves that a
non-celebrity learning the craft learn in order to make a career.

Looking back at my notes and  reax, I noticed a pattern that Team
Beefcake and/or its members got some amount of high praise.  Tonight
explained why:  Beefcake is allowing more input from his team members
and it shows.  No offense to Knobbs, as his team's match was good, but
there was some repetitiveness in it.  Kinda of tough to come up with
originality in a handicap match, though.

 Beefcake's match had some
really interesting moves that even some regular wrestling matches could
use, like Todd's roundoff flying elbow smash and Danny's bump to the
gaurdrail (both very smoothly done).  For a longtime wrestling fan like
me, the promos came across as very basic and old school, but all were
delivered well in the context of the personas they are playing.  But
finally Nikki Ziering is gone, and all is right in the world.
