--Randy Couture has a lot on his mind these days as not only did his wife get a restraining order yesterday against Todd Beard, the president of Affliction, coming to the UFC show on Saturday claiming he had threatened her, but Toast of New York LLC has sued Randy Couture on allegations he failed to pay the bill for an event hosted by the Xtreme Couture GI Foundation.  Toast of New York claimed Couture has only paid $50,000 of a $175,000 bill for a fund raising event for military families.  Stories are at http://www.lvrj.com/news/breaking_news/34343899.html

--Added to Survivor Series is Team Batista (Batista & Matt Hardy & Kofi Kingston & C.M. Punk & R-Truth) vs. Team Orton (Randy Orton & Mark Henry & Shelton Benjamin & Cody Rhodes & William Regal).  Interesting having Orton and Rhodes already as a team when they are feuding in storyline. 

 

--Kenn Doane, formerly Kenny Dykstra, on his myspace page said he's happy to be gone from WWE so he doesn't have to work around their schedule or answer to anyone.  "I've never felt so free in my entire life."  "I did have fun with WWE but the creative side never used me properly or really gave me an opportunity to get over.  It sucks when you know your (sic) better than the majority and you're only used to make people look good." 

 

--Want to make mention that lost in all the news is that the ROH Driven PPV debuts on inDemand and The Dish Network tomorrow night.  ROH also announced Bryan Danielson vs. Takeshi Morishima in a fight without honor (street fight) will headlined the 12/27 Final Battle show at the Manhattan Center in New York.  This may be a title match as Danielson faces Nigel McGuinness on 11/22 in Chicago at the PPV taping. 

 

--Luke Williams wrestles on the 12/5 ROH show in St. Louis and 12/6 in Nashville

 

--UFC is offering in-arena radios for the first time on Saturday night where for $10, you can get a radio and hear the commentary by Mike Goldberg and Joe Rogan.

 

--Dan Wentzel has an article on Brock Lesnar at www.yahoo.com  When asked about people who knock him fighting because he used to be with WWE, he said, "You can't blame them for being ignorant."  Randy Couture, as well as Lesnar's own trainer, Marty Morgan (whose uncle is Red Bastien) said that some amateur wrestlers look at going into pro wrestling as selling out.  Just as pro wrestling fans saw Lesnar taking a huge cut to try the NFL.

--John Cena vs. Chris Jericho vs. Batista has been announced as the dark match for 12/15 Raw in Pittsburgh.  There is an Internet presale at ticketmaster using the password "Raw" which starts at 10 a.m. Eastern time tomorrow

 

--UFC is doing a press tour with B.J. Penn and Georges St. Pierre.  There will be an announcement of the fight made on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.  On Tuesday, St. Pierre, Penn and Dana White will be in Toronto at the Scotiabank Theater for a 10 a.m. press conference and autograph session open to the public.  UFC T-shirts will be given away after the press conference, and the fighters will sign autographs for two hours after it is over.  Seating is limited so arrive early.  On Friday, they will be in Honolulu at the Waikiki Shell at 4 p.m. with a live musical performance at 5 p.m., press conference at 6:15 p.m. followed by viewing of Penn and St. Pierre's biggest matches.  UFC T-shirts will be given to the first 2,000 fans through the doors.
